What a cute park! Fire fighter themed!

I love lions park! Theres horses who are beautiful. Its perfect for exercising pic nice and other activities!

Off the beaten path. Quite and peaceful. Very well kept up. 2 playgrounds. Lots of room to run around and play.

I had a great time walking down and through the trail. The horses gave me a Forrest Whitaker eye but my girlfriend said I looked like a sexy pirate so I guess it worked out. My only advice is to hand out free Allegra. Lol

Its a clean nice park Id youre into sports. Even has a nicely sized playground for the kids and a decent sized trail for walking or biking which leads to other parks around the area.

Its a great open park, with a playgrounds, and sport fields.. but if you want to walk your dog, thats fine, but please clean up after it goes poop.. dont be like this person, they walk their dog by driving their truck letting it go to the bathroom the dog finishes and then they just continue to drive without cleaning it up very low class.

This place has two really nice play areas for kids 3 years and older, my son really loved it. Here’s one of them.

We went for a homeschool outing. Had a great time. Only suggestion is that the cyclists here knew proper procedure for passing. We had many children who all acted very behaved but the cyclists gave no notice when they were passing. One time a person repeatedly rung a bell with no verbal notice. And a couple times they would yell passing when they were right behind us. There was never a “passing on your left” etc given. They were upset but it’s a hiking trail as much as a biking trail. Please post notices for bicyclists to use etiquette when storming through a group of people. A couple of 2 & 4 years olds were almost run over.

It was hot but windy and we had a good time for my granddaughters 2nd birthday..

First time here. Used the pavilion for a birthday party. Very clean

Nice park kind of off the beaten path. My daughter loved the horses in the pasture right next to the place.

Very refreshing and beautiful trails.

Lions Park is great! Its several acres full of soccer fields and two playgrounds. Last time we were there they still only had portable toilets and we do hope they construct permanent restrooms. Water fountains and a splash pad would be a nice addition too! Lions Park does connect to the Getzendaner walking/biking trail.

Port-a-pottys on premises. Two playgrounds under canvas and one has a big tree thats shaded in the afternoon.

Park is always clean and well respected by the people that use them. Just wish the soccer goals were a little updated.

I was not impressed. Its not well kept and theres clearly no upkeep for parking. Two wrecked vehicles are sitting in the parking lot. I get the impression the fields are somewhat abandoned. Teams use them to practice, I guess... And they are too far out for mainstream use.

Nice playground and shelter for kids and family outing but not tree lined. Wide open space with numerous soccer fields. Very active in season. Forms the east end of Waxahachie hike and bike trail, which is well maintained, but can feel a little remote, so hike or bike companion might be wise.

Very Peaceful ! The paths are well kept, and the people are friendly and considerate.

Nice park. Gets lots of soccer players that makes the park very busy at times.

This is a good spot to stretch out. Minimal lighting for soccer practices before and after time changes, but no other park even has lights as far as I know.

Excellent Greenway. Not crowded on a Saturday morning.

The recycling center here is A ++++... Well maintained and the employees have the interest of the environment in mind and wont compromise.... They are great

Nice park that is generally not very crowded. Has nice large pavillion, two very nice playgrounds and soccer fields. The only restrooms unfortunately are porta-potties. Located at one end of the Hike and Bike Trail.
