A nice little spot for the kids to enjoy and relax. Has a lot of shade and a good amount of seating for the parents. Also alot of parking
Great place for the kids to get together and play. Right amount of shade and sun when there in the afternoon.
I loved it but more importantly my 15mo old daughter loved it
My son who is 2 and I love this hide away little retreat from the summer heat! I always find my self laughing watching my sons face light up with prayers and how he always is just out of reach of the bucket dump no matter how hard he tries. Clean and the other fellow beat yhe heat families have all been respectful and courteous
Love taking my two year old during the summer shes more of a stand back and watch the water kinda kid. And here there are so many interactive parts she will actually play.
Great little water play area! Shaded & cool! Plenty of area to play or even sit & watch. Picnic tables that seat 4-6 depending on their size & trash cans.Only draw back? No bathrooms unless you enter a nearby business soaking wet & hope they oblige you.
My 22 month loved it
Nice area to take the kiddos to cool off in the Texas heat. Nice add on to the city.
Great place to cool of kids have a great time keep up the. Great work city of waxahachie
Great place for your kids and family very nice area great place for shade and kids have fun
Was really disappointed! Drove over 30 minutes to get there too take my grand daughter and the water was not working, not to mention it seems like its not a good part of town.
Very child friendly. Felt like a safe place to take young children.
Gr8 place for the little ones. My grandsons loved it, just enough for them to splash around in the water... This was our second visit before noon, good seating for parents. We spent two hours each visit. Will be visiting again
Such a cute park! Great splash pad for the kiddos. My kids had so much fun, its located in historic hachie area. Parking is limited to paralel parking in front of the park.Took off a star due to bathroom availability, and safeness. My little one had to pee, no bathrooms in sight. Needless to say it was an adventure finding one, with my boy dancing and screaming pee pee the whole way.The splash pad is open on the backside. So watch the kiddos carefully, it leads to a bridge then down busy street.
Great water features for the kids, & great shade over the tables! Perfect for a picnic lunch!
Love this place so great for the kids and free fun all day
Nice & shady
NiCe place to take the kiDs... Lol for Free
Small and private.. my kid loved it. It was clean and next to the street.
Download the Arknet app by Tautachrome. The physical internet interface. Pokemon Go on steroids.
My daughter got violently Ill after going, which soread to my entire family of 9
It was super cute and super fun. And its FREE. Allows us to stay in town and still have fun when were tight on money. The only thing I dont like is that, because its by a little creek, the mosquitoes are a real nuisance.
We love this place! The water is clean and there is about a 5 minute timer on the water. There is a button to press to start it again. There is direct access from college and Jackson St. Jackson side is gated but on the college St bridge by the pub there isnt a gate to keep the littles from running off. There at 7 tables and 2 trash cans as well as a port a potty now. If you get hungry or thirsty you can hop into College St Pub!
A brick square with what look to be 10 ft post modern metal sculptures during the winter which are actually a free mini water park spring and summer. Great for kids dogs, or the occasional overheated runner like myself. One of the few things in Waxahachie I will actually say pretty damn cool about!
Came here for the grandkids but it was pretty hot outside for me to want to stay long. Even though it was nice and shady, it was still hot. They should have some type of water available for the adults.
Clean & Neat
Fun place for the kiddos, with lots of shade.
Cool little splash pad. We showed up and nobody else was there which was kind of nice, but there was no water splashing either so initially thought it was a lame park. However, there is a button right next to the fountain that makes the water run for five minutes or so. Well be back.
Great place to cool off
NEW SPLASH PAD!! Kids had a blast, plenty of shade and places to sit. Walking distance to local restaurants and large parking lot across college street bridge.
I didnt give 5 stars because there was alge built up on the splash pad and the kids kept slipping on it... The pad its self need to be scrubbed with bleach
There should be more parking available and a gate on the bridge that leads to the street.
I would have loved to let my kids play here today, but the button that you have to push to get the water started was broken, and there is no contact information where you can reach a person to find out when it will be fixed.
Loved this splash pad!
Nice place for the kids. They finally put up a gate so its a bit safer for the little ones.
Could use closer restrooms a Porta potty is pretty scary for a little kid. Could use some sorts of small gate so the little one cant make a mad dash twords the road. Other than that the kids are having a blast, it is very clean, and there are tables under shade trees.
Looks like a great little park. We stopped by after 7pm so the water was turned off.
Favorite place for my grandson.
A great water park with shades for the adults. Granted no bathrooms near so make sure the kids use the bathroom before coming
Great little splash pad. Our daughter loved it.
It nice and clean and shadded by alot of trees and it right by police station so it nice and safe. It doesnt have bathrooms.
This is a nice and new little splash pad that the city has put in. Best of all, its free! I expect it to get a lot busier and crowded once word gets out.
Great lil place, kids loved it, till the yellow jackets attached
Kids water feature during tje summer pretty
