This memorial is quite beautiful and peaceful. The tribute is well done, and captivating. There is a bit of yellow tape in the park nearby for some reason. Im sure it reflects temporary work. Its definitely worth your time to visit.

Beautiful memorial. We were camping in the city park campground and realized there was a multi-cache (geocaching) located at the Veterans Memorial. We were really impressed by the design.

“Everyone should visit a Veterans Memorial”This is a lovely tribute to the local Veterans from all wars. It is located on the shores of Lake Kampeska, just outside of Watertown. Picnic and restroom facilities are there. There is no admission fee and it is open year round.The Wall of Service has local Veterans names carved into it to remember each veterans service. It is possible to locate a family member from the area who served.The POW/MIA flag is on the far side of the memorial.19 donated inscribed benches are located around the park to provide space to contemplate those who served

This is a very nicely done Veterans Memorial on the shore of Lake Kampeska. This is situated in a city park with a playground, green spaces, a sandy beach for the lake, and bathrooms. There is also an adjoining Campground which the wife and I love to stay at. Plenty of parking for you, whether here for the memorial, park, or lake.

Very clean quiet place right off the lake. A small park for the children to play and also restrooms if needed.

Fair amount of camp sites, beach shoreline, and nice view of the lake. The veterans memorial is nicely done.
