Great cushy synthetic gravel track around soccer field and new tennis court.

During the week is the best time to use the track. If you are lucky, you get to have the field to yourself except for a couple of runners popping in. During the weekends the centre is a little Crowded with everything from tennis players, runners, soccer and football players. This place also has a kids play area.

The staff is always nice when I pick my senior box once a month@

The soccer fields are really nicely done and maintained. The playground is great for kids as well, though it is focused more for smaller kiddos.

This Recreation center runs an excellent soccer camp! And the front desk staff are the friendliest. It is a sweet place and a bit of a hidden treasure.

I loved how polite the staff are for one. On another note, i enjoy how the system is set up where you got alot of different options. One of my all time favorite is the computer lab. I have been only twice in here and its so quite i can enjoy myself more then a library.

Good area to play pick up sports. The tennis and basketball courts are in decent shape, but the turf soccer field is what really stands out. Theres usually a group of people playing pick up soccer on any given day.

Great place to work out that is free for DC residents. They have free weights, kettle bells, various machines, pull up bar, cardio machines, and a basketball court.

Yeah good environmental impact

After getting a DC license, it will be the best resource you have for non cross-fit fitness in Petworth. Bonus points for you if youre interested in running through DC to all of the other DPR facilities which will be free for you too. Hours arent as convenient if your only day off is Sunday, but otherwise its a solid place for you, the family, and the rest of the soccer-loving neighborhood.

Good rec center. Brand new. Small gym, ping pong, gardening classes on Wednesday nights, and so much more

Nice new playground with a less nice older one at the adjacent school.

Great facility, with lots of new modern spaces. Staff is friendly, although they are terrible at communicating cancellations to their members.
