The sound for Step Afrika was amazing. Every step, every tap crisp and clear. The lobby and facilities needs to be washed, painted and refreshed.

I attended the Summer Intensive Acting program under Mr. Bill Graham and others. Father Hartke was still very present on campus. What a wonderful experience I had! It exposed me to the important elements of actor training: physical fitness, improvisation, voice, speech, subtext, and simple performance skills that are required on stage to get the character across – to put the visceral presence of a person and their character on stage, in a situation that enthralls the audience and gives the viewers the thrill they came to see! What a great Dept .of Drama. Run dont walk to attend classes and performances here!

It is a nice community theater space. It could use some sprucing up... needs some softening and color to make it more inviting. It is looking a little dated on the interior. But the production was first rate. Were there to see Step Afrika. Our only facility concern was the placement of the speakers on the stage tuncating the views from seats in the side orchestra.

We saw Legally Blonde there last Saturday night. It was a fun show, the CUA students were talented and energetic. They were clearly having a blast performing for us and everyone in our party loved it!

Great theater to hold a graduation. My school has held the graduation here for 4 years now and cant go wrong with the space. One thing, the air conditioner needs to be fixed in the main lobby of the theater. Its hot as hell in there.

Theater is wonderful. We saw Step Afrika perform their piece on Ernest Johnsons famed Migration Series. It was really wonderful. Try and get tickets if you can.One note: this theatre is part of the Catholic Univ. campus, and is right behind the National Shrine/Basillica. YOU CANT PARK ON THE CAMPUS! Parking is a bear, there is street parking but it quickly fills up when there is a performance at the theatre. Get there early to park, or you may miss a part of the performance as we did looking for a parking place.

Great college drama program, the playwrights masters projects are always fun - some good, some bad, rarely boring.
