They have a really good museum there. I was a bit disappointed that they dont have but one small spot on Desert Storm and no mention of the Air Guard Commander who was the first to command a Wing of active duty, Guard and Reserve forces.

Small Museum but very well designed and with friendly staff. I particularly enjoyed the combined acoustic and visual displays which followed individual National Guardsmen/ Women and their experiences serving in different theatres of war. I would have liked to see more about the use of the guard in civil unrest but it was covered.

Interesting museum and staff were very nice. The reception room is beautiful and a perfect spot for a promotion ceremony. All national guard members can join and I would recommend it.

This is a must see when you are in Washington D.C., a beautiful building that houses the National Guard Association of the United States, the Enlisted Association of the United States and the National Guard Museum. The Museum is located in the lower level and is filled with a detailed history of the oldest fighting force in the United States. Enjoy the rich history coupled with a great location this must see will not disappoint. A great time for family of all ages.

Parking is a nightmare but thats DC. It was pretty small but what they have is cool. I was hoping they would have had a gift shop as National Guard stuff is hard to come by.
