Lots of shade for the hot summer months. Bring your own grill because there arent that many here. Picnic tables are chained down and they are really spread out. My only complaint is the restrooms being on motion sensors. The lights go out after one minute leaving the restroom pitch black and having to feel for a way out! Playground has a variety of things for children and it was fairly clean.

Cute park in my area. I love walking around there, it has a baseball and soccer field, but it could use some remodeling, and maintainance for sure.

Can be a shady area. Slides are made of metal. Big space, fun for rollerblades, dog walking, biking, jogging, etc. Keep wet wipes and water on hand.

We just walked a little on the trails but mostly in the wooded area. Small but nice if you like nature.

Some things are falling apart and possibly unsafe here. Plastic windows were missing from the higher structures and my kid thought he was supposed to climb out them, scared us a bunch but this park has tons of shade so thats a big positive. The tire swing was falling apart too. Missing bolts that hold the bars together, looks like it was about to fall apart. The yard adjacent to this park had grass about 4 feet tall. Crazy to see next to one of Warrens better outdoor attractions.

Always have a nice time with my girls here. Its always my go to park as it is so close to our home. But most importantly, bc when its hot outside, its so nice and cool bc of all shade from the pretty trees That way my girls can play without me having to die from heat exhaustion while they play

They fixed this park up a lot since I came here in seventh grade! Now has a big play place/jungle gym for the kids, swings, nice tables under permanent shelters for cook outs, birthday parties, etc. And theres even a couple grills available. Nice park

Its a very nice sized very quiet sometimes nice for family get togrthers and after all when Im there I also feel very safe its not a ghetto park its just right nice for good walks nice to go to work out ride your bike or skate board

Grandsons loved playing and making new friends

I love the sidewalks, I brought my dogs here for a walk and they loved it! Feels like your in the woods kinda, saw a lot of different animals here. And the playground was awesome! Only issue was that the bathrooms wasnt available for use. I ended up having to leave a while after I arrived to go home.

Clean, low visitors

I went here for my nieces birthday party which we had in the Pavilion there and it was really nice and clean, Pavilion was close enough so that I could watch the kids while they were on the playground but far enough away to where we didnt have to have anyone outside of our party too close.

Large space gray play area my family play kickball there we had a memorial party and my sons birthday party there the space is great it’s just that the public bathroom wasn’t locked one time but the other time it was open so I just think they need to you know make sure that the bathrooms are open when people large groups of people come to the park

Very nice park. I was there to participate in an Eagle project of clearing vegetation, fixing a fence, and planting flowers around the Restroom building. The park looks even better than before now. There is a large newer play structure in the park and asphalt walking paths.

The play structure has metal slides (VERY HOT TO THE TOUCH IN SUMMER) and rocks for ground cover. IT NEEDS A LOT OF UPDATING.

Nice place for children and adults to play and live in peace and harmony. When entering a parknyou might expect your usual play ground yada yada but this park really embraces the beauty of the Detroit area. Now let me talk about cheese its super nasty and its expiers milk so do u really want to be eating nasty milk. I wonder if they will post this review and if people will like it tbh I dont think the type of people that go here even search up reviews. I feel like if I want my review to be read than I have to review and boogie place in Michigan like West bloomfield. But anyway I hope u have an outstanding day at this park that I never been to but one day I REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLLY REALLY get to go here soon soon could possibly have a chance to write a real review on my my feelings of this maybe amazing maybe be not park if that didnt make sense to you you might have a low iq and I want u to re read it again untill you understand okay is that affermitave or do you need aome more clarification cuz if u do ur otta luck. Shaw is a beautiful and well kept park! Many activities are held there throughout the summer.

Nice quiet park but its very dirty....needs ALOT more up keep for kids. Too much for them to pick up and get hurt on.
