The post is showing some of the most beautiful, most historic places in the city. Warren was founded in 1795; one of the oldest and nicest cities in the area. Warrens one motto is that it is the heart of the Allegheny Mountains.I found out that Warren City and County are in the tract of land that was given to James & Jeremiah Morrison by Cornplanter, who was the chief of the Seneca Indians from 1735 until he died in 1815. The Morrison brothers worked for the tribe for 20 years. The Morrisons are my ancestors, buried in Warren County.

Were locals. Our little downtown has a little bit of everything. Stroll around and enjoy antiques, great food and drink and the historic theater. Walking around and checking out the architecture is an enjoyable stroll. Pick up a map at the Historical Society. Watching the Allegheny flow by is always enjoyable as well. Much much more as well. Have fun!
