Tom is the best and the maintenance supervisor! I simply cant thank Either of them enough for fixing the issue with leaky pipe behind my stove that I thought was gas leak and I freaked out in middle of the night when I heard the hissing coming from behind the stove and waking my landlord up that I still feel so bad about. You guys are simply amazing. Even though I felt dumb after I was told it was water leak behind the stove It better safe then sorry. Thanks again

This place gets a 1 star from me - simply because I was lied to over the phone during the first conversation.In short, I asked about submitting an application to their property. Over the phone, the guy (Tom?) asked me what he said were standard questions about myself. The call ended with him saying forms would be emailed to me to fill out.This never happened - and I think it is extremely unprofessional. Just tell me no ..

I have lived here for 5 years and it has been an amazing experience. They take very good care of the tenants and if any issue arises, it is immediately taken care of. Tom, Yvonne, Mike and his maintenance team, Marco and everyone else in the office are family to me.

This place looks scary as hell. I didnt even want to get out of my car. They need to do some major renovations and upkeep. I feel sorry for the people who have to live there. The conditions are deplorable.

Shadylane turned of the water to the park with out notifying any residents. Way to go. They have no clue on how ling it will be off. Up date... Shadylane is blaming the plumbing company for shutting off the water with out any notice. The plumbing company informed me that Shadylane know when and what time the water would be off..

Ive lived here since end of Jan & still havent fixed my heating issues. I have the wrong hot water tank for my home still not replaced. Now we have a possum issue. Oh & everytime it rains I have lake front property.And Tammy in the office has zero people skills shes rude & hostile when tenants come in for help

The owner Marco does not help w repairs and maintenance issues at Sylvan lake estates at all whatsoever all he does is have maintenance do a quick fix and not actually taking care of the problem! Completely. He doesn’t even have the trailers registered or up to code according to the city of Pontiac. Pedifial maintance manager there. Watch your kids!!

The maintenance guys there are awesome especially now that a certain someone has been brought back to work. Id like to know where this guy disappears to for 3, 6, 10 months at a time, nevertheless this guy is all mighty and you should treat him like royalty, word to the wise keep him and his people happy for the genius he is and tragically, tragically underappreciated, and overwhelming underpaid its a wonder why he sticks around and doesnt go off and achieve the greatness he is capable of

I have lived since January nothing but problems with Tammy in shady lanes office nothing has been done in my trailer everybody complains about her she very rude an disrespectful to everybody that lives here there are pussums running around my house an hasn’t been fixed

Current resident...Honestly I dont really care for this place. If you have no where else to go, it will do. Kitchen floor has pieces coming up, no A/C, very little insulation Winters are extremely cold. During the polar vortex this year our pipes froze, called the emergency maintenance number and they never responded nor followed up with us, also ice formed on the bottom part of the walls in our bedroom. Dead bolt on the door hasnt been fixed. We hit a financial issue recently and got a bit behind on our rent but we paid it in full about 6 to 7 days late and yet they are taking us to court to pay over 200 bucks in court costs and the manager Tom said if we got it in before the 7 day mark they wouldnt take us to court. The bathroom is way to small especially the shower as you barely have room to turn around and the calking on the tub is coming off. Oh and if you want pets this is a great place because there are lots of bugs....bed bugs and no they didnt come with us here. In the bathroom there is a small hole in the wall that has paint around it and I can see dead bugs trapped in the paint so they were definitely here before us. And of course we have to handle the problem ourself. I strongly do not recommend this place. The maintenance guy is really nice though. The office staff have terrible customer service skills

This place is full of drug addicts and convicts. They will cheat you out of your full security deposit and then when you call to ask questions just yell at you! Totally unprofessional and it is a dump. The repairs that are done are rigged and done as cheap as possible as they raise the rent. Totally Shady as the name says! Would not go there! CHEAP! Remember you get what you pay for!

Great Management, VERY helpful!! The manager is very helpful an understanding. Made the move in process very easy. They ALWAYS were very helpful on the things that they were responsible for. I read other reviews on here of people complaining. As long as you are paying your rent an taking care of the things that you need to do, you will have no problems here. Also I have lived here on an off in many different trailers an NEVER once saw a rat!!! An its not the managements responsibility to take care of peoples domestic problems, that is what the police is for!!! I have kept coming back here for a reason, I have never had problems but I also paid my bills an didnt cause problems!! Great place if you are looking for affordable living!

I have lived in Shady lane Mobile Home Estates for almost 3 years and I can tell you first hand that they are a warm, friendly, environment.The management and the maintenance people are hard working individuals and when I need assistance the job gets done. I enjoy living here and they are close to good schools, walking distance to shops, and is a general good community with great people. Sumerfest. This is a lot of fun for your children. They have food games and backpacks filled with some stuff your children need to start school. Everything is free, just come and have fun for the day. They fix bikes, have music and raffles and give a way a lot of things. So when Sumerfest comes, please come for the day and enjoy. Where else can you go with your children and have fun for the day for free. They a so have some fun games for your children

My wife and i have lived in Shadylane Estates for over 5 years, we have 2 children. We love that they are located close the schools, whenever weve had a problem with anything the staff has been very courteous and they have responded very quickly to any concerns that we have had. I would recommnend this community to anyone.

Id say estates is a bit of a overstatement.

I like it here. The management is very workable and were willing to work with me every step of the way when i hit a temporary rough patch. Everyone is friendly.

Shadylane Mobile Home park is disgusting there are rats everywhere because of abandoned nasty trailers that Marco the owner will not remove because he gets $65 a month to keep the nasty trailers around. They over charge for rent and you constantly have rats or whatever else that can get in get into your space. Maintenance does nothing you see things that beed to be fixed yet they drive around 1000 times a day. When maintenance does finally come in to fix something they take things from you. Tom the office manager is a real winner if he wasnt so concerned about who his pills were coming from maybe things would get done. If you want a drug connect and a rat problem this is your place!

Too bad theres no option to give this a negative star rating. They take advantage of peoples financial woes to scam them out of their money in exchange for poorly kept homes, and refuse to fix anything upon need. Their employees are absolute degenerates, who have no familiarity on how to fix ANYTHING. Rednecks do a better job at fixing things with duct tape than these morons can do with any power tool.

Worse place i ever lived. Sold me a place where the wiring was janky and kept blowing the fuse so my heat wouldnt work. Also said they fix a window with a crack in it they never did. Ended up having to do it my self. Also nasty as rats were always around. Put traps did what i could jus seemed like they were attracted to that nasty place. Besides that. They have drug problems.but they cant stop people from doing that. but id have to say they lived up to theyre name. Shady as hell.

Um, first off. They dont keep their word! They sold the trailer we wanted right out from underneath us, had us sign a two year lease with them on a trailer they were selling to us for $1 at the end of the two years. BUT, they also said NOTHING was wrong with the electricity, come to find out EVERYTHING was wrong with the electricity. We couldnt fix the dilapidated trailer up AND pay our bills! Also, they said they were going to help with the MAJOR things in it. Hmm, still havent paid us for the window YOU were supposed to replace! Dont BUY or RENT trailer 56! It needs to just be torn down. So, we moved. And yet, WE HAVE AN EVICTION ON US!!! I guess you guys are called SHADYlanes for a reason! SHADY! And by the way. The manager doesnt do ANYTHING but make empty promises to people. We HAD to move, I was pregnant, and I have a 2 year old! It started getting COLD! And we brought up the major problems with that trailer. Furnace, Hot water tank, Electricity, Sewage! You guys are filthy! Not to mention I could look out of the trailer and see Opposums and rats! We DID what we COULD do, and they still hold it against us! Now, I have to pay that nasty trailer park $800+ to get this eviction off my when I DIDNT EVEN HOLD THE LEASE! because THEY failed as management. Sincerly. Ashley Perkins!
