Great place for your dog- off-leash or otherwise. Bigger, much less crowded, not covered in feces, people are kinder, actual grass and trees for dog to run around and explore- my dog had a great time. Going back!

San Miguel Park is a tucked away and quiet park. You can play with your dog, fly a kite, let smaller kids play on the playground or play some tennis. Ive never seen it crowded, so it is a nice escape.

Living in the neighborhood, I use these courts periodically. Only 2 tennis courts. Each court has a bench. The drinking fountain is by the gate. No water pressure. They need a fountain outside with a bottle fill station and a dog fountain at the base since San Miguel park also is part dog park. This is also kids playground too.

Its a great dog park for two paradoxical reasons. Because its hours are limited to until 9am, we see the same people and dogs so a community has formed. And because its open at one end, the dogs that come are typically better behaved and the humans mostly watch them more closely which means spotting them pooping and thus picking up after the dogs much more often.

This park allows dogs off leash. It is fenced in on only 3 sides, but if your dog listens fairly well, this shouldnt be a problem. A big plus over the nearby Heather Farms dog park is that it is bigger and there is grass instead of mulch.

Ive brought my dogs here a couple times, not fully fenced in but large grassy area. No access to water, except a small water fountain in the tennis court. Ive been told theres no dogs allowed after 9am, but never had an issue with anyone. Tennis and basketball court, fenced in kids play area. Easy parking.

Los Cerros Ave entrance was inappropriately locked during Saturday open hours of while the opposite entrance was open. Prevented easy access from Ygnacio bike trail.
