I certainly do not feel as though sacred places should be subject to reviews. It goes against terms of morality, to be honest.
Has a beautiful view & looks exactly the same from when I was young. Its a sacred place to Hawaiians and you can feel it if you ever do visit.
The place is a nice little visit if you are near Kahului. There well be a close gate, youll have to park at the bottom of the hill and hike up. Not far. View is great since you get to stand on a high point looking down on the surrounding. The place have a sense of calmness to it. It is windy once you get up there, short little hike up, its all paved road.
Sacred OHANA iwi
Very low key, but quiet. A bit difficult to find and you now have to walk in from the street. Interesting view of the city and port, well maintained, and there is a helpful descriptive plaque. The remains are fairly minimal - some stone building foundations and a platform.
Not much to see here, wish there were more to engage those interested in native Hawaiian history.
The Life of the Land is Perpetuated in Righteousness.
Nice place to meditate. When you want to find the Heiau you have to follow from the monument a small path way through the plants. At the end you will find the sacred place.
I loved the information about the formation and religious history of this place available near the summit. The views are gorgeous, too, and I saw various types of bird and butterfly along the path.
No much to do
