Good place to take the kids. Some homeless around but not a big deal. Bathrooms arent available due to covid.

I mean look at this park... its awesome. Has everything the family could utilize for an outing out, on a cool weekend afternoon.Have fun play safe.

My three boys needed to get out of the house and run around, and this place was perfect!

The park has different playgrounds for different ages so the equipment is age appropriate for the children. I love the venders that sell in the evening. Its a great place to come and spend family Tims with the family. Children are busy exploring. Every time I have went the park is clean. The few times I have used the restrooms, they to have been clean. Great shade in the evening.

Great park. Needs basketball courts

Nice arbors, power hook ups, soft ball field, playground all close to eachother. Even the restroom is close. Perfect for family reunions, 49er empire picking area is perfect.

This place is a cool park but has gone downhill. During the spring, the fields are full every weekend for soccer which makes it crowded if you are there just to play. There are I think three or four different play structure areas and a water feature, that seems to be off or broken most of the time recently.The bathrooms are getting used and trashed by the homeless so they aren’t all always open during the week. While there seems to always be some open, and they are located on both sides of the park, I have seen too many non-homeless kids and adults using the play structures as a place to relieve themselves which is a big turn off.For big events and games, this place is great. It’s a big area, parking can be rough, and I think the fields could be marked better. It’s a pain looking for the right number when you are playing a game. The baseball area at the newer end of the park is nice.

I love to go there early in the morning when no ones around and jog 3 miles ️

Sports Complex with fields for baseball, soccer, la crosse, etc. Spots for parties with covered picnic tables. Some shade trees. If you are here all day on a sports field you may want to bring a pop-up. Nice play structure as well.

Very nice sports Facility. We have played against Central Valley Premier Soccer a number of times. Grass is well taken care of, and their are lots of trees for shade for fans!

The park is great for all kinds of activities. If you want to run, great! If you want to play on the playgrounds, theres plenty of those too. Theres many fields for sports such as soccer, football, and volleyball. Cant say much about the restrooms as Ive yet to use them, but the city seems to maintain it better than other parks around the city. Its a fairly safe park to play. Theres frequent homeless people who wander around there, but they seem harmless. Just keep a close eye on your children and yourself! Everything should be fine. Overall its a good place for family gatherings and parties.

Its a great place to bring your children or walk your pets. You could also watch soccer games on Saturdays or watch baseball

Great place to take your kids, 3 playgrounds. Soft ball fields being build and baseball fields for little league are in place. They have several soccer fields and walking areas! You can rent out the harbors for parties! Occasional soccer tournaments.

General park is good, but the bathrooms are a little bad.

Great place. In the summer they turn on the water features for kids. The park has 3 different playgrounds and multiple grass covered areas.

Restroom were filthy no toilet paper or toilet covers. If you know you are having a soccer tournament, you need to do up keeps in the restrooms.

I love to come here and watch my son play soccer; however, it is SO busy! Sometimes I have to walk about five minutes to the field, dragging my six-year-old in tow. It makes it pretty stressful especially when I am trying to carry water and a chair. Many people bring wagons to solve this problem. I think the issue is the parking. It looks like they are completing another parking lot, but, alas, it is not open yet!

This a wonderful sports park. A great place for families! There is a central water area for kids to play in addition to all the other play areas.

There are several different playground areas for the kids. There is one for the lil tots The grounds are beautiful and well maintained! There are cement walkways surrounding the beautiful perimeter of the various picnic areas. There are covered picnics tables and benches, some under the trees and a few without cover. As a former resident I was amazed at how much Visalia as a whole has grown in the last few years. This Park Is Beautiful

One of the best parks our travel soccer club has played at. So many different jungle gym and play equipment for kids of all ages, nicely managed soccer fields and fans could watch in plenty of shade. Nicer bathrooms than most parks although no hand soap in the one I used. Easy and plentiful parking which was great!

Beautiful park! Like to walk in the evenings but more lighting would be nice! Glad they are expanding it. The picnic areas are gorgeous with big grills!

A Visalia gem. Very nice, clean, well laid out.

Went here for a soccer game. Clean fields and playground. Only downside I was on crutches and it was a long walk from the parking lot to the soccer field.

Parking can be a bit rough but its a great sports park.

Wonderful sports park, but disappointing that with 65 acres, there is no space for a dog park as well. North Visalia needs a place for our dogs to run around, too.

Needs q little maintenance on fields but otherwise one of the best in the state. New baseball fields are being added and more parking.

I just moved out to Visalia and I live really close to this park. Some parts of the field are still being built but the soccer fields are complete. I just joined a coed soccer club through a website called play visalia. They have all types of activities to join and its for all ages. They have picnic areas where you can grill and a nice playground. I would like more trees for shade but for now its my place to take my kids.

Best sports park in the southern valley

This park like the city of Visalia is a beautiful place, BUT the people totally trash it. Poor (mostly minority) kids play with garbage at the splash pad (empty, used water bottles, used Styrofoam cups) and leave the trash and food everywhere when they are done, even though there a trash cans everywhere. There was even a diaper, poofy and full of water left right on a bench one time. Terrible. I once saw a kid making himself vomit in the bushes trying to empress his friends (disturbing, disgusting) and many other nasty things. Trash everywhere, I finally starting taking my kids to other splash pads out of town. And the homeless are always lurking, its awful. I dont know what is wrong with people in this area, but it feeling more and more like a third world county. Oh, and we tried to go yesterday and the splash pad is close for maintenance because of all the trash and misuse from kids picking the material off of the splash pad and it clogging up the drain. NOT GOING BACK, GROSS!!!!!

I love how many fields there are and how many things you can do there are year long

Awesome place when having any family gathering big or small. Lots of places to get together & plenty of space to make your gathering more private. Its also set up for sevaral types of sports like soccer, Tball, baseball, volleyball, Archery & more.

Large open spaces, bathrooms, some shade trees... Often times the bathrooms are clean, but not always. There is running water though, so that is a huge plus at a park

Jealous that we dont have a facility this spacious in our town. Lots of fields, clean bathrooms (the photo here may look a little run-down, but the stall was immaculate and smelled good), and within walking distance to restaurants and stores.

This park has two large playgrounds and a splash pad. Great place for kids. It has several soccer fields and a baseball field. There are also large arbors for your group to enjoy. Had a great time enjoying the park with my grandkids.
