First time I have ever been to this park. Spotless with an exercise system set up around it circle. Huge old trees and green grass make this a very good place to stop and picnic. Plenty of drinking water and three covered picnic areas with four to six tables made of cement and kept clean. The only Downer was the bathrooms were locked up tight with one displaying a sign, hazardous do not enter.

Fun place to bring kids. There is a slide missing from the playground equipment for the bigger kids and it is blocked off. I do hope they will fix it soon.

Nice place to park and eat lunch. Playground for the kids. Good track for jogging. Restrooms were surprisingly clean. Nice big area for ball or frisbee. Never too crowded.

It was beautiful. The trees were very colorful. The vibe was awesome.

Great park. I loved coming to this park as a child and climbing up the restroom hill. Today I got to do just that 20 years later and the memory is the same. Buuuut I got a golden opportunity to share the gospel with Matthew Isais and tell him how Jesus said my life and I met a homeless woman sleeping on the creek and shared the gospel. God is great hallelujah .

Good park for family gatherings if the city could provide or move the homless out of the canal the park would be perfect no child should have to see them using drugs in the ditch area.Other than that its peaceful.

There is currently an open AA meeting being held here on Sunday mornings at 9 am. Anyone with a desire to stop drinking is welcome to attend.There are even swings for us adult children!

It was a good park in general but it looked really dirty and needed a lot of cleaning done on the playground. There was also way to many homeless people in the park so ya.

I’ve been coming to this park for over 15 years. It’s always such a clean park and great for parties. There’s a big green grass area in the middle of the park that goes a little deep and is great for soccer, football or any other activities! There is a dried out creek that kind of wraps around the park but it’s more in the back of the park!

Well kept, safe space for kids to play. Not much play equipment and strict rules against hard ball sports

This park is in a perfect location.. I dont recommend you doing it. But you could leave your car with the keys in the ignition, anNOBODY one will steal your car ... also the park by the one of the BEST AND FIRST residential areas in visalia the park is like a bowl and there is a walking running #route around the park 1/4 mile long.... Best scenario to walk around the park 5 to 8 times with your dog on a leash... Also the jungle gym for the kids is been remodel and their is a nice creek by #Walkingroute and the old pine trees and oak trees is a definitely major plus in the summertime

My family and I love this park. Get wet there, play sport, have lunch, ride our bikes, or just hang out. We even sometimes take our own games like horse shoes, race cars or fly kites . Its great all year around.

Nice park. Has restrooms that were open on weekends. Lots open area to roam and cool playgrounds for the kiddos. Trail runs around the park for walks/jogs and has some work out areas as well. A neat little stream runs around the back of the park which provides a nice, calming scenering compared to the rest of the city.

Use to be a very nice park but lately its over run with homeless. And by night that park (the entire park) looks like a black hole. Not one single light was on, very unsafe and down right scary looking to even walk by

We went to take the dogs here with the kids, we had lots of fun. Beautiful park. Everything is nice and green. Nice soccer field.

Very picturesque location sticking out into Boundary Bay. One get great views of White Rock and the Peace Arch. There are walking paths and a playground nearby. It is a nice stroll down to the pier with nicely manicured lawns and flower beds. On my visit in August, there was a food truck selling fish and chips plus other things. Would highly recommend if stopping in Blaine for a walk or with an hour to spare. My only criticism is a lack of shade so bring a hat and sunscreen for the sunny days.

Since everything has change when I was a kid till a grown adult. Id say it has gotten better....(besides the bathroom). New workout toys and playgrounds are settled in. Also good for any sports, playground for children, also bike riding or running laps, fountains are okay if you find the best spot for a nice cold water fountain also they installed for dogs also water fountain. For picnics you can rent one or reserve one. So thats pretty cool trees all around for you to stay cool. And the bathrooms I should let you stay away from it.

This is a very nice mature park. It also has restrooms, but how clean they are can very depending on timing between cleaning and who has used them. This has been a very fun location for group events and I would recommend considering it for yours.

Its perfect for walking. Theres a area for kids to play. Plus a huge grass area to play sports.

I love going to the park, I sit there and I pray, it used to be Birds would come around but theres no more birds out, since everyone is going with those solar panels on the roof . But I love the quietness in my meditation I enjoy it.

Beautiful park ! Always clean and peaceful and theres plenty of room to let the kids dun around. Theres a walkway that circles the park that is about 1/4 of a mile long rhats food for running and there are toys and workout equipment along the route. Plus theres a gorgeous creek (when theres water in it) that borders the park along the back. There are a few homeless people who hang out there but they are harmless and dont bother anyone.

There is lovely creek in the back. Well lit walking paths in the evening. Patrolled by police often.

Beautiful park. Abundent with shade, clean, and equipped for many different activities (baseball, field games, picnic tables, playground, etc). Very clean. Some sketchy folks doing some questionable things in the parking lot off to the side but pretty nice park for family time.

Nice quiet park during the day. Very few people on weekdays and kids are in school

I dont ever use the bathrooms and often theres sketchy people but I dont think Ive ever had any problems myself

Theres a nice walking path around, but fairly short. Generally pretty tough crowd. Theres bathrooms and water fountain. They have a couple arbors with good covered tables for parties.

Cops were everywhere cause homeless didnt feel safe to take my grandkid out there to play!!

Nice family park. It has a big open field for sports. A good decent size playground. Lots of benches in the playground for parents/guardians. Areas for picnic/party/or outdoor events to rent. A creek runs through on the back side of the park that is available for sight but prohibited to swim. There are restrooms and hand washing station avaliable. Not clean restrooms but decent.

Very nice park in the middle of town

This is a beautiful park with green manicured grass, tall Pines trees and a winding creek bed. At this time, there is no water in creek. Plenty of convenient parking. The walkway winds around the entire park. There is plenty of picnic tables, a barbeque area and a childrens play area. The bathroom isnt always maintained, however and that is the downside of this park. I did not see homeless people with tents and I have been to this park many times. Its a comfortable place to sit under a tree and relax or write or draw. My dog loves it here and perks up when Im just driving into the park to park my car. Theres always been children here when Ive visited and their laughter will make u smile.

I enjoy Blain park. I feel comfortable taking my dog there because everyone seems to be responsible pet owners and keep there dogs leashed.in a good location too.

If youre looking for a nice place to kick off your shoes and relax without driving a long distance, this tiny park is cool. Nice green grass and playground for kids and your entire family is what youll find here in the urban part of the city. My brothers and sisters recently had a family portrait done here. Pretty cool.

Prices to rent for parties are very reasonable, nice clean park and park ranger was there making sure everything was fine.

It s one of the best parks in Visalia. My favorite feature is the creek (Mill Creek, I think). When the water is running, you can sit quietly and soon I forget Im in the middle of this dry, toxic air valley.

Ive always loved Blain Park. Clean, never crowded and has easy access to restrooms.

Very nice park surrounded by beautiful homes, nestled in east visalia. Park is smaller but has a big park feel. The patrons is nice and welll kept the patios are also nice with minimal graffiti or writing. Very shady, and quite peaceful for having a road busy so close. I can see why people go here for walks and Just to play.

The large play structure has too many open gaps for any child to fall a near 8 feet. Very unsafe. Please consider putting barriers.

Its a quaint little park.Its perfect for meeting a friend or stopping for a quick bite in your car or to rest your eyes.Quiet.Shady.Convenient bathroom.Walking path.Exorsize stations.This is where my husband proposed to me and also where we all gathered for wedding cake, a 5 tier cake I might add!!And my oldest daughters 1st BDay party was here 30 years ago.More recently we had a Mothers Day BBQ here.Lots of fond memories here at Blain Park.

Great park. A parking lot on each side, plenty of tables, and bbqs for get togethers. Also there is large grassy area, to have picnics, or for the kids to run around . There is a large playground for the kids, a trail that circles the park, and bathroom facilities. Overall all it is one of the nicer parks in town, would definitely recommend this park to anyone looking for a nice one to go to.
