Been closed for “restoration” for three years now! Fourth, and final, visit to Virginia Beach in three years and this place is always closed. I am not sure why these places are even “open “ to the public since they are never actually open! I do not recommend driving here to see the historical sites because they are always closed.
Beautiful history was closed when there but you can walk the grounds
I love this house! I was the first person to work here when it opened to the public . I honestly believe the house is older than 1725 because papers were found stating Ann and Seville Gaskins purchased the property and built a home/tavern on the property in the early mid 1600s. Either way, the house has so much charm and a sad yet warm feel about it. I occasionally go there and walk around and still feel a connection to this wonderful home.
Had a wonderful time at the plate painting class! Very well organized, just the right amount of people and the instructors were very knowledgeable and sweet. Cant wait for the next class!
NICE PLACE, WISH THERE WERE MORE EVENTS FOR OUR FURBABIES TO BE MORE INTERESTED IN.
Great presentation of the Pungo Witch! A must see.
Looking forward for them to do renovations to open the house.
The Lynnhaven House is currently closed for restoration. I was told it should reopen in November 2016.
