This is an awesome place to go for a bike ride or walk with friends on the trails or on the New bike path along the mojave narrows and, also to hang out with family and friends have a BBQ. You can also bring your mobile home and use the hook ups for power and spend a wonderful day.

We live it here. Not only is the staff very kind but the grounds are always clean and quiet. We came for my little girls bday camping trip and the spot we reserved did not have a pit but the ranger switched out for us so she can make her smores. It was also so fun hunting for the pilgrims hat.

There is an entry fee per car rated as $8(weekdays) & $10(weekends). They even charge for Pedestrians ($3) but its a huge park with multiple activities for Kids and Family in general. You could walk around the Lake, ride Bicycle, Play Disk golf, Reserve camp sites and RV sites, Fish (seasonal I guess) and has beautiful surroundings with Trees and Birds.

Great place for a birthday party for kids under 13. There is a water park area that stays on from 9:30am to close and a really big playground. Lots of grass for soccer or anything. You can fish too - you need a california license and a permit that you buy here for $8. $10 per car to get in. Make a day of it. Bring some chairs and shade if you have it. There are several picnic tables but they fill up fast near the playground. Enjoy!

Great place to camp. Could use cleaned up some. Need to stock both lakes. Horse shoe lake needs reeds cleaned out bad. Not many places to fish. Sucks to pay all that money an no place to fish. Dont recommend the fishing unless there Early

This is a great place to come especially if you like to fish. You can also hike through the park and see the horses. The gate fee for parking is a little high but if you come for a picnic and spend the day its worth it. Perfect family friendly place. Lots of things to do here.

Stayed a couple of times. Its very nice. Lake is pretty clean and full hook ups are great for your travel trailer. Fishing was not good for us. We didnt catch anything the 2 days we were here. Trains pass all day and night but they dont bother us, we slept like babys

The lakes are nice. Not too busy (except on holidays). This place has the best trails. So many different trails too. Most of them are maintained by someone.. It is my favorite place to ride horses in the high desert.

The fishing is good, I went bass fishing and didnt catch one but hooked up twice and they got off. That was my fault though. If you are cat fishing you will probably catch one because people were catching all over.

The staff is amazing! The fishing is good! The Campsites are great. Just need more trees in Campsites. Will always bring our family back here...

It was very dirty. I have been here before, and am sad that It was so bad, It was a nice place to take my grandkids because it was close by, but not anymore.

Nice place to walk and explore. Sadly the park personnel were not wearing mask when we paid to get in. The campsite trash was over flowing from the week end and we arrived late monday afternoon.We found a friend.

We enjoyed pour time there. We were hoping the ladies bathrooms were a little more cleaner. Thank you.

This is a beautiful little oasis hidden in the high desert. 2 lake huge park and plenty to explore.

Splash pad was great! Playground tape was torn down and the kids were having a blast! LOTS OF ANTS but it is outdoors!! Fun, cheap day!

This is such a great escape to natures wonderous beauty in the middle of the hot and dry Mojave desert. With wonderful little lakes, huge trees, wildflowers, and wildlife, this is surely a great place to go on a walk, go bike riding, fishing, have a picnic in the shade, along with many other things!

Quiet, lots of shade under trees with picnic tables. You can find picnic tables under tree near the lake so that you can have some quiet time to yourself enjoy family time. Restroom are clean not dirty or smelly. The price is $8 per car, I think its a pretty good deal and my kids and I have a blast getting wet.

Splash pad was refreshing. Picnic tables are run down and need some refreshing! Maybe some shade.over the splash pad and play ground would be amazing.

This place is great. The park is well maintained and virtually trash free great place to bring the kids and we love the Water Park area.I just wish they would extend the operating hours a little longer during the summer. they close everything down at 4pm, there is still lots of sun left would love to see the hours extended till 6 p.m.

Clean bathrooms and campsites. Kid friendly with the waterpark. Didnt get a single bite fishing.

It was awesome. The only thing that I didnt like was all the ants. They were crawling everywhere and my grandchildren didnt care for them as well.

We camped here twice so far. The lake is a great place to walk around and the facilities are clean. I wish I had remembered the frisbee golf course there. Photo is of our large group camping.

Clean, quiet and attractive setting. Has a pretty lake which is nice to walk by, and the grounds are well kept.

Spaces were a little close together, but lovely view and night camping for a low price. Did catch one baby catfish amongst our group, but mostly enjoyed the firepit and tables available for use. Definitely recommend the campsite if you havent been!

Too weedy to fish in horseshoe lake. Pretty much the same in pelican lake. Good place for camping and family day use though.

This is a nice oasis in the middle of a harsh place, but unfortunately the park is trashed. There is garbage, dirty clothes and broken glass everywhere. The fee you pay for entrance $8 on weekdays or $10 on weekends clearly does not go towards the maintenance of this place at all. There are two ponds here but they are not clean and any swimming is prohibited. Also the crowds that frequent this place are very rude and loud, thus do not expect to have a quiet time. With some care and clean up this would be a very nice place.

Place has great fishing. Nice to take a walk around the lake. Having a great Fourth. A bit windy. I will be back.

Great park to goto. 2 lakes, horseback riding, and a playground for the kids.

The staff is helpful, the campsites are wide enough to park a trailer and a vehicle. Its not crowded like some spaces. We brought the horses to ride on the many trails.

In my opinion the park isnt what it used to be at all. Then the people at the gate charging you to come in are rude most times. I had 2 cars and the 1st car was charged but 2nd car right behind me was let in free ( they didnt know we were together)and they had more people and a dog with them. Thats not right. When the park was about to close, the guys drove around in a truck yelling to everyone that it was time to go. Its one of the very few family friendly things to do in this desert and the park itself is okay.

What an incredible and beautiful day nice bike ride through Mojave Narrows everytime I think Ive seen everything I find a new trial to ride or hike just remember its very hot and carry plenty of water and something to eat use Google maps if you think your lost and always let people know were your going stay safe and be safe

First time coming to the horseshoe river in Mojave’s regional park nice quiet place, beautiful lake and lots of ducks and birds. Great place to bring family for and outing.

Love camping here. Prices are a little high for a day fishing pass - $22 but camping with full hookups for $40 a night right in the lake is worth it

The Mojave Narrows is a great place. There are areas to hike, a lake to fish in, a campground, and a nice sized playground for the kids including a splash pad for the hot summer months.

We had lots of fun fishing with fam and friends, but we didnt enjoy getting bit as much as we did with mosquito ! Please spray your clothes and body very well with bug repellent before coming to fish an etc !

Love this place just to relax and fish :) they have a little water park for the kiddos too. Back in the day it was so beautiful and fun but now it’s all dead and dry . Sad .. they charge so much but can’t even water the grass, oh well

I cant believe somebody said theres insects and tall Grass and debris its called camping if you want to five star hotel go to that LOL Mojave narrows its a fun place to go.

This place is great for summer fun for families. The water area is right next to the play area making it convenient to keep an eye on kiddos while they play in both areas. Theres lots of grass for playing tag, frisbee or football. Theres lots of benches and big trees that produce lots of shade along with a covered section with tables. Get place for parties or get togethers.

Very peaceful. Nice quick weekend getaway.

Loved it..our 1st time there. Enjoyed walking up the trail and seeing the open fields.

Clean park. Good fishing, good RV parking; with hookups; the park is well maintained and the Bathrooms are very clean.

Really nice place, could use more trees planted, and some how keep the homeless people from coming in and destroying the resources that cost the campers $ in fees and increased prices.

Always have fun going out and fishing for the day. They have a playground for the kids as well as a water park. Fishing and fun for the whole family. Never a bad day when you hang out here for the day.

Mojave River Forks awesome Place been going there for more than 40 years my kids grew up there learn to fish there we used to play in The Little Creek in the summer that goes between them Pelican Lake and Horseshoe Lake we used to walk out to the Santa Ana River and play in the water there also you should go there and throw rocks at the wild hogs and the nature trail and they have to climb a tree to wait for them to leave wild pigs for unbelievable awesome Place nature the swan and the raccoons at night we buy extra bags of Cheetos DeLorme out of the trees once you want to sleep and raid the camp them were the good old days Mojave Narrows definitely an awesome spot going to have to go visit its been a couple years

I found this park to be neat and clean. There is a lack of trash disposal containers. The restroom facilities need considerable attention. The one near the lake had no running water in the urinals, toilets or sinks. In speaking with other members in my party I found that single women were not charged an entry fee while I was charged the full $10. 00.

Very disappointed. Very limited shade, no grass just dirt and weeds. Splash pad and playground was closed even tho I was told at the paybooth it was open. They refused to give refund.

Nice park. Waaaaay too many trains passing campground to sleep peacefully!

We could tell they are making improvements. The campground is cleaner and they replaced the funky gate with a nice control arm. I love that it is nice and removed from the city.

This is a great place to take the kids when its nice outside. The water pad is spaced out enough to make sure that everyone enjoys. Adding some shade to the playground would be very beneficial. My kids were coming back with light burns because of the heat on the equipment

Clean, open, fresh air. This park has a nice easy trail to take kids on (and see cows!), playground with new foam ground cover, fishing and a fun climbing area

Very helpful place to parents for entertainment for the kids. Lots of fun. Mini size rock climbing walls. Water swing & slide fun. BBQ pits everywhere. And it has a fishing Areas on site. Sure you much pay a fee for parking or the fishing. But its well worth it.

My puppy is very hyper. I took her hereto run around to help her rest better. It worked! It is peaceful, not crowded, plenty of room, and nice water to look at here. We had a lot of fun. When I brought her home she went right to sleep. Lol!

Always enjoyed our stays there. Need to secure areas, between railroad tracks (homeless wandering around campsites at night) and cow ranch(to keep people out of private property and cattle out of park. May be night time security detail

I used to come here every other weekend to fish and camp. Wont be back. They raised the prices and havent caught a fish the few times weve been here. Asked around and nobody is catching anything. Not gonna pay that kinda money and not catch anything

Had a great day. The ranger was especially kind. The two of us caught 4 nice cat fish. 8 total. Most bigger than normal. Was 103 degrees. Could use a few more shade trees along the shore line, but still a great neighborhood place to enjoy.

A nice Recreational Park with activities for yourself (golfing) and for the entire family. There are plenty of camping spaces, picnic tables and places to park.The kids playground area was closed when I arrived. It appears that they are replacing the old safety foam matting with newer foam mats, possibly for summer use.I will definitely be returning here. The prices are fair and the park is well-maintained.
