This park is clean and peaceful. The grass is well taken care off. There are several baseball fields and a track. No basketball courts, but a nice park over all.

Best park to go work out and spend time with your kids.

This is a great park but the goat heads or sand spurs are thick so be careful where you walk or sit and enjoy your day. This is a nice park.

The kids and my dog love it here.Its always cool. Crowded on Sundays, but still a nice atmosphere.

I needed a Shady place to eat my lunch.Had there been Pic~Nik TABLES & OR CHAIRS/BENCHES AVAILABLE(I DROVE AROUND SCHOOL-PARK & SAW ZERO TABLES!), I WOULD HAVE GIVEN IT A5

If you want to do something this is a place to be it has all kinds of activities for family friends and gatherings

I would have rated it a 5 if the track wasnt so mushy from water nozzles aimed incorrectly.

Used the track to run. Its okay, the track is always wet even on a hot dry day. There wasnt a lot of people but thats not always the case.

Grass was clean but having people smoking weed on the benches and parking lot is not my ideal of a good time with family. Go somewhere else.

Me and my brother used to sit here all the time before we moved, we walked to the store every other day, we didnt have a car. But although enjoying the serenity and calm as the enviroment brang to us, I wont hold it super safe at times, there are some sketchy people that arrive here at night if you stay out too long.. other then my insecurities its perfect during the mornings and afternoons into the evenings, other then that I love this place, the memories sit well.

This park good by self and with a group, or date. Nice scenery, good atmosphere in day and night time. Has boy n girl bath room, picnic tables, and bbq. A work out station, exercise machines with out weights. Has 4 baseball fields. A kids play ground.

The dumpsters are surrounded by people dumping their garbage there.

Safe community, you can bring your children here anytime with no sweat. Lots of space for playing any sports or go to the play ground. Recommend this park over Brentwood.

The park itself is nice and spacious. With a lot to keep busy but some of the people there is a up to no good. It would be a lot better if there was more security or police

Hook park was fun coming here for years. This time a family member was injured in the swing. She flew off in mid air. She was very upset Nd will not get back on the swing.

There is good shade and space to walk my dogs, but I did not feel safe. Specifically when I went to wash my hands in the bathroom, I had to take my dog. There were 3 males doing drugs. Needs more security.

Cool place to come chill alone or with friends. Grass is nice and green and taken care of. Not too crowded on a Saturday so you can enjoy your day without crowds of people bothering you.

Very clean area lots of trash cans I mean a TON lol and friendly ppl. My child loved the jungle gym set up the park has. Theres a track on the other side I was soooooo happy when I seen it because I looooove to run the track... Esp with my little one by my side

We love walking for exercise and to walk our dog. Very clean and safe park .

Great fields, lots of shade. Only bad things were no soap and short restroom doors if the stall even had it. Parking is a good size but still have access to street parking. Can hold lots of softball teams.

I always find shade here good mix of things to do.....they have a lil workout trial where you can work out best to a trail......if your not in to weights and want more of a calisthenic (body weight) work out for free this is the place to go in the high desert. Five stars for Gryffindor.

During the day a good place for kids to play and run around. Take some food and grill it upon!

It was nice went to see my Grandsons baseball game. There were other teams having games too, they have a snack bar had a good time.

This park is fun and open for the kids and the viewing purposes of parents it is also a nice place to have a picnic and or a barbecue they also have baseball fields to play on so the kids can play baseball or roll the ball Etc a lot of trees and a lot of green open area in order for the little ones to play and a jungle gym set for them to have fun on

I went tbere for a birthday party. Very creen and pretty. Not a lot of people. Makes a nice personal, quiet space

They allow dogs, which is OK. But, they do not provide cleaning materials to pick up the dogs mess. They dont enforce the pick up of the of the mess. It was smelley and we couldnt walk without seen the mess. Just a concerned visitor who was very unhappy.

Everyone is saying the place had shady characters. But there isnt a park up here that doesnt have that. Where do u think people do small to large deals? Parks. When i ran a muck that was the best place no one can sneak up theres witnesses if they kill you. But back to the point no one has started anything with me. There some workout equipment. Theres a track. Which is nice. Its big bigger than a lot of parks up here. Lot of shade. I like it. Dont get hung up on the bad people typically if you leave them alone they will do the same and dont stare they will think your cops.

Nice Park as far as picnic goes. They have BBQ grills, water fountains and standard bathrooms. The playground is pretty small 2 big slides 1little one for smaller children. 2 swings in which my kids take turns on with 60 sec counts it work fine. A few baseball fields you can practice on for free. On the other side of the park you can choose to do their exercise course which Ive done plenty if times it a fun sweaty workout or run on the track. I really enjoy this park been going for years. I even sent my children to preschool here Thur one of there programs you can go inside Monday Thur Friday and ask about everything else the park has to offer. Hope you enjoy.

One of the nicer parks in VV. 5 ball fields, a huge soccer field with a running track around it, exercise equipment by the track.The Community Center building is at the park where you can sign up for all kinds of community programs, sports programs and events. There is one covered picnic area and one open picnic area. Both have BBQs and picnic tables.

BBQ area, lots of shade. Bathrooms... Not much different than any other public restroom aka gross. Has a rec center. Step inside and get a flyer for community events.

Weve involved our children with the Emerge Basketball Academy at Hook Park. Coach Soloman and Coach Burley are great with the kids! They are keeping them focused and teaching them all the skills they need to pursue their careers in Basketball. Both coaches are very involved in the practices and trainings and dont just tell the kids what to do. They join in and show them the proper way to do things. On top of that all of the kids have a great time and make friends along the way!!!!

Its tucked away in a neighborhood and not a lot of people go here. Grass is gorgeous, there is usually a nice breeze. The restrooms are always clean and supplied.

A lot of negative discreet drug traffic in the early morning hours and at night. If you really need to go to a park and youre there the best time to go is after 11 a.m. when theres more people present. Its best to leave before 6 p.m. hes in the freaks come out at night.

Take my daughter to this place. thinking that they would teach her how to play volleyball. I paid a fee and my disappointment was knowing that the coach does not know anything about volleyball. Nor how to be a coach. Now I know your dilemma is: its just to have fun, not to teach. However, in the other teams, I have not seen it that way.

This baseball park league isn’t good (ribbons). I wish I had my money back, some coaches have favoritism and some have no baseball experience at all probably never even played baseball. Only 1 season year out of 5 my son had an awesome coach but left for that same reason.
