Park has been closed for years. Its a beautiful park but the gates are never open to the public to just show up. Its a shame.

Nobody is at this park. Not even sure if anybody is allowed in but we hangout and checked out the scenery anyway. Cool rock formations and railroad track near by. Oro Grande Bridge near by.

I wasnt able to access this property. You really must get permission to enter the property. No phone number listed and the gate is locked. What you see in the photos is what I saw, pretty much. Looks promising, but without access I cannot leave an honestly complete post. It has great potential though. I will check back again during the late spring or summer months.

Need to share this gem with the public on weekends then it would not have sooo many homeless people camping around the upper stream.. I used to take my kids there to hunt crawlfish(crawdads) now it is a cess pool full of trash upstream just behind the rock outcrop by the black train tressel.. So sad our best spots being trashed by homless encampments..

There are two open grass areas sitting directly above the Mojave River. There is a center (small banquet room with a kitchen) available for events, an outdoor amphitheater/campfire area and a gazebo.Rental only. Call the City of Victorville Hook Park Community Center number for info.

Dont go here. I got a trespassing ticket, even though I just stopped to check it out with my kids for 5 minutes the cops gave me a ticket. I guess it is a private park that requires reservations, a $1,200 deposit, and you have to buy your own insurance and hire security even if you only want to have a birthday party with only your own family. Hiking and picnicking is not allowed. However, the bums seem to be able to roam around, throw trash everywhere, accost you.

Well its not really open to the public without special permission, there is much litter and tagging left by some lowlife cockroaches. the phone number for access is posted on a sign at the southern entrance.
