Nice place to watch a sunset...take pics of the river....

What a beautiful spot to view the great Mississippi River! It was our first time in Vicksburg. The history is great, from DeSoto to the Civil War. You can also drive down behind the Ameristar Casino and take pics of the bridge. The darker bridge is for trains. The silver one is for cars. I wish I had made time to see the pre-historic mound sites.

Closed. Cant see anything. No idea why because it is on a windy high bluff.

Nice Outlook right on the river. Close to the Mississippi River I-20 bridge and the Ameristar Casino. Picnic tables and playground nearby.

This is a nice spot to pull off the road and watch the river flow. You can see so much better from higher ground, at the level of the treetops in Riverfront Park below. A few picnic tables or benches here would be useful, but there are plenty of those down in Riverfront Park.

Im from Natchez Ms The oldest town on the Ms River. Founded 1716 by the Spanish. Fort Rosalie.
