I love this amazing little Gallery. I want to go back to Vicksburg just to purchase Art. The owner was so nice and new all the artist personally. There was so much to see. I wanted everything. If you are passing near Vicksburg, MS it is definitely worth the stop. Also grab one excellent cup of coffee from the coffee shop downstairs.

I came. I browsed. I bought. I fell in love.The Attic Gallery is not just a place, its a passion. The love and respect of art and artist is woven into the visual tapestry of color and texture and pleasure while the oohs and ahhs and sharp inhales and soft clinks and clanks of arranging and rearranging treasures becomes the joyous soundtrack of the shopping experience.This first visit I was overwhelmed with the urge for beautiful pottery. I hope for more visits and purchases. What a wonderful atmosphere these lovely, smart, knowledgeable ladies have created as they curate and caretake precious works.

The first time I visited the Attic Gallery, quite a few years ago, I was awed, amazed, inspired. It is still my favorite place to be in Vicksburg. Some galleries seem to operate under Mies van der Rohes saying from mid-Twentieth Century that Less is more.If the Attic Gallery has a theme its, clearly, More Is More! Some people do zip in and zip out; but the great majority of visitors stay and stay and stay. Theres that much to see! As a frequent visitor, there are always new things to inspire, admire, desire, and, when the money gods are favorable, acquire.Sometimes I see something I know immediately I want in my life. Sometimes I go home and 2 or 3 days later Ive still got a piece on my mind; so I go back and buy it. Sometimes I see a piece at the Attic Gallery a second or third time and realize its the perfect thing for an empty space at the house. Ive never regretted a purchase, nor has anyone Ive ever gifted with an Attic Gallery acquisition.Paintings, pots, hand-blown art glass, jewelry. Carefully chosen art from expertly vetted mostly local and regional up-and-coming artists and artisans. Edgy outsider and primitive art, but lots of traditional, impressionist, abstract as well. You name it. If its excellent, Lesley Silver, the gifted proprietor, probably carries it.This is the one place in Vicksburg I always take out-of-town visitors to. My children, grandchildren, and several friends always make sure I have the Attic Gallery on their itinerary. Friendly and art-knowledgeable staff I often hear making excellent recommendations for lunch, supper, lodging. If thats not enough, Vicksburgs best coffee shop, Cafe 61, is just downstairs. Excellent coffee and munchies; friendly, helpful staff. If you visit only one place in Vicksburg, this is the one. Youll be glad youve arrived.

Attic Gallery is a must stop whenever Im in Vicksburg. Its long been a favorite of mine. Theres a wide selection of art and crafts, mostly by Mississippians. Be sure to visit the coffee below the gallery.

Friendly stall with some nice pieces. I liked their pottery in particular. Its also located right above my favorite coffee shop in Vicksburg, which makes both these places well with the stop. I picked up some ceramic pendants and will have to head back soon to check if theyve added anything new.

Vickburg is a small city with much to offer and one of the best places in Vicksburg is the Attic Gallery. Much of the art is by local artists. The works available range from sophisticated, thoughtful contemporary pieces to carefully selected folk art. The gallery is upstairs above the local coffee shop, which has the best coffee in town plus free wifi and a congenial atmosphere and just happens to be owned by the gallery owners husband. My friend and I browsed for an hour and each ended up selecting a painting. We felt that we were not just buying art, but stories of the artists that made the pieces even more fun and meaningful.

Great gallery featuring many Mississippi artists. Many unique pieces ranging from reasonable to expensive. Neat gifts for the art collectors.
