The art work here is awesome. Splash pad for kids and levee street matket place for grown ups. You can take photo at levee street with gaint angle wings and gaint catfish.

Good place to blow off some steam.

This park is a great place to take your children. My kids love this park because the water cools them off after playing on the playground. Its a nice atmosphere and the artwork is a bonus, because its really neat and cool to see.

Parking was a bit confusing but the murals were definitely worth it.

Great place for the kids. Traffic is slow and the water park is a lot of fun. Restrooms were clean the day I went and air conditioned. So yeah I think it is a great fun place to take the kids or even the dog as long as you have him/her on a harness or leash as to not scare the children.

Good late night bite

I liked the place. Went for a weekend getaway with my daughter. They have a small water park that shoots up fountains of water for the kiddos.. Fun if the temperature outside is right.

LOVE this park!! So clean and family friendly!! We also loved the murals across the road that are so rich in state history.

I stubbled across this park last year when my family and I had to evacuate our home in NC because of Hurricane Florence - we had family in MS. My oldest daughter is still talking about how much fun she had at this park. It really helped to bring some fun and joy into a scary situation.

It was a nice place to take the children. It has a nice mural wall. It didnt have rocks like other playgrounds, instead it had a very nice, soft, springy pad. I couldnt figure out how the splash pad worked though.

Because they have the water for kids to play in to cool off in the summer.

Great for the kids but all of the fountains were shut down due to winter

The historical southern vibe of this place is really neat! Nice place for a stroll among the childrens art. It is family-friendly with a ships wheel that really works for the kids to play captain. Good picnic area

This is where we offloaded from the American Queen paddle wheeler. Its a nice walk to take a look at all the murals on the walls as well as the Railroad Museum across the street. Theres a couple of gift shops and restaurants within walking distance and if youre looking for something to do for an hour or so its not too bad

Its a cozy little park. It has a fountain for kids to play in, plenty of picnic tables, trees, and street art!!

Great little park.

Its a city owned park with no employees present. Kids playground and splash area. You will have to monitor your own children and use common sense. Dont expect to drop them off and let them fend for themselves. It is directly across the street from the Mississippi River and the Levee Murals. Plenty of activities for several hrs of enjoyment.

For a short trip before dark, this and adjacent murals was worth the visit.

This is a nice park. There is a large wooden playground that my kids loved. There is a splash pad that they are fixing and should be done for the summer of 2018. The parking is a little lacking.

This place is kind of cool. Great place for kids to see, touch and hear art. Sadly its wedged between two streets, one with fairly busy grain truck traffic. Watch your children closely! River boat dock across the street and good eats close by. Jeff

Best cool off spot for kids and kids alike

This is a great little park with great playground equipment that follows a fun river boat theme. The splash park is also cool (literally during the hot summer). It is only a block from downtown shopping, eating, and museums.

A perfect park that represents everything that Vicksburg is about. Its right next to the Mississippi River, theres lots of histroic buildings nearby, plenty of fun murals created by local artists and even a big water fountain kids can play in during the summer.

Great park its educational and in the summer the kids can play in the water sprinklers. The only problem I have with the location is its right across the street from a night club but I can say they serve great chicken dinners ...

Really nice park and across the street are mural of Vicksburg history painted on the old levy wall. There are several museums, the old rail, country store and river boat, but alas none are open on Sunday

Nice equipment for kids to play on . But there is a lot of trash and trashy people who do not care about keeping the area clean.

Nice place for someone to go with their kids, but the interpretation of the word art is very loose.

Very cool and refreshing is my experience just being able to watch the children play on the splash pad, especially after a group hug from my girls after a few minutes in the water.

This place is really going down the hill quick. need to keep someone on it.

Interesting look at the history of the city

Hang out here and take some pictures, let the kids run and play here and wear themselves out.

Its a very nice park. Clean. By the River and free.

Its getting run down :( until the ritraf next door is bought out it will only get worse. If the river front area wants to grow it needs to go.

Fun free area near the flood levee murals

Not in great shape. The whole park needs to be repainted and up graded. None of the drinking fountains are in good working order. A lot of the art is in shambles and have either chunks of tile or concrete missing. Glass and vintage rubbish on the hillside coming out of the ground at the play area. Dangerous!
