Great fishing spot and swimming for the kids. The pavilions are great for setting up camp in if you plan on being here for a while. The view is nice and open, spotting a few dolphins along the day.

It is great for fishing and there is a boat launch nearby. There are covered areas and grills on the east side of the bridge where people fish and there is parking on the north and south of the road. You can fish off the north or south, but the north side is much more narrow compared to the sidewalk on the south side.

Nice little Park to stop and enjoy a cold drink( got to bring your own) enjoy the water and or have a picnic !!!!!

Wabasso Causeway is always a great place to go for a picnic, fish, go wading or castnetting, kayak, paddle board, or use the boat ramp. There are public restrooms next to the ramp on the most southeastern section of the park, I believe. You can often see dolphin swim by. I personally have seen a spotted ray and caught a baby bonnethead shark. If it is a windy day, check the direction first. The land blocks the wind and makes for calmer conditions. If it looks choppy on one side, look to the opposite. 9 xs outta 10, you can park on the other side and be perfectly fine. PLEASE November - April, abide by the speed signs. There is to be NO WAKE during this time within so many feet from shore. We do love our manatees.

Excellent place for fishing, kayaking, etc. It also has a boat ramp, but there are plenty of other kayak launching options. I saw a ton of tarpons rolling and even hooked one but was the hook pulled. There also an abundance of bait so bring a casting net.

Great place! Id give it 5 stars if there was a bathroom on each side of the park.

I really enjoyed our visit today .This place is a family oriented location, great for picnics, fishing and swimming. There were a couple of birthday parties with kids laughing and having fun. A very good environment for children. We will definitely go back.

Good place to fish. Already a few rod holders in the ground by the bridge. No tobacco area, so its pretty nice.

Kayaking, fishing and swimming all in one place. Water calm, dolphins play and shallow enough to swim in. Many were catching some nice fish.No specific time is good to go, anytime of the day or night is great.

A great small waterfront park with bathrooms, pavilions and grills.Love to watch the sun set here while grilling dinner.

The Wabasso causeway park was a great place to go and spend the afternoon it was a good spot to fish and relax in the Sun its also got a nice boat ramp where you can go ahead and launch your boat out if you have a boat so if you want a nice place to spend A-day I would highly recommend anyone the Wabasso causeway park.

Really nice, went to sit at the pavilion and ate some lunch with my friends, we seen a dolphin and also people were fishing and swimming.

A few nice places to hang out on the north side, pic nic, spend a day fishing. Nice dock on the south side to fish and launch boats, rest rooms near by.

Good Spot for fishing if you know the right times to go.

Great launch location for Kayaks, and fishing. Saw a sea turtle! The area was fairly clean, trash receptacles available as well as grills. The road has pot holes, beware of the rough entrance in and out. Make sure you have peroxide and alchol with you for any cuts or scratches you may get. The water does contain bacteria. A painful lesson I just learned. Do not go in the water with open cuts or scratches!
