Nice place but flooded. There is no information about the little house or the chimney.
Its a very shady trail, nice for the hotter days.
Quiet and nice hike though the jungle trail
Great, shaded trail. Will be back.
Its very peaceful. There are restrooms. A beautiful path to walk. Its a natural Florida hammock. Which means it has not been changed or altered all the vegetation is indigitus to our area. Its like saying its a natural Florida forest.
We had never walked this area before. We have lived in this area since 01 have learned a lot about the history. So this was just a bit of a walk about to actually feel the history. Note the restroom facilities are very clean for a public area.
Theres a nice hike to the beach through the trees, and some interesting history to this place. Id like to see the trails better maintained.
Easy hike and when the winds are blowing, protected from gusts.
Clean restrooms and park nice trails
No thrills. Grassy path ways with a lot branches over-hanging. A few mucking patches.
Great place for bird watching and walking thru trails.
Great to visit. The info guides about trail and local wildlife and plants were interesting to read. Worth bringing your adventurous little ones. Make sure to watch for fire ants and other biting insects. My wife and I parked and road the jungle trail north to where the sand road ends at A1A. Very scenic and very low traffic.
Large area of trails with plenty to explore. Great place to walk your dog or just stroll
Favorite trail in Florida.
Very nice place. Worth visiting
This is a nice quiet trail in the middle of a very populated area. We didnt see any wildlife but had some good views of the water. This gives a idea of what the area looked like before it was developed.
Very disappointing for a Preserve begun by Theodore Roosevelt in 1903. It does lead to ocean access for about a 35 wide beach area bordered by mega mansion/resort places. They have cut it down so it doesnt go across to the ICW. Few birds. A shaded walk. Needs a lot of work.
Bathrooms provided, nice little place to see
Great trails, had so much fun with the kids
A good place to get away from the city for a few hours, have a nice hike, and commune with Nature.
A lovely area full of nature. One gets the impression of the Old Florida days when you sit down at the bench and look at the flora and fauna.
The recent cleanup and improvements have been nice. Wish there was more benches and shade trees though.
Very nice park
I enjoyed my time there
Pretty views and nature trails to walk.
Good
No a whole lot there. Hurricane whipped out a lot.
Alot to see
