Parking for 4 cars (or just park at the Publix), garbage can, no water or bathroom. Dog friendly. 1 mile each way to an overlook. Dont take the 1/4 mile +- side loop unless youre feeling a little adventurous- pretty overgrown. The main path is a little overgrown in some places, but i was wearing shorts and it was OK.
Its classic Florida. I love the narrow trail through the shaded wooded area. Its hot, humid, and bugs are thick. After a mile or less you leave the wooded area and come into a sunny bright spot. From there its not far to an observation deck, much like a pier, that extends over a marshy wetland. In the wooded area Ive seen butterflies, turtles, and of course many lizards and chameleons. Dogs are allowed and you will meet a few here and there.
Awesome trail
Lots of cool wild Life
Nice trails. Just be careful if you go after rain. It gets slick and muddy in some spots.
Very quiet calming park to hike through. Leave your every day problems and get back to nature. Some of the paths could use a good weed wack session, but I am sure they will do that soon.
Beautiful grounds! Easy to find. Its perfect.
Not that great. Seems like undeveloped land that they turned in to a preserve. Plus there are local hanging out in the woods just drinking beer and whatever. I would NOT recommend for nature/photography folks.
Nice place to go for a walk as long as it isnt after a hurricane and the tides are still HIGH. Ingress portals along the way.
Great place to walk your dog. Be careful if rainy, as trail can be water covered or muddy.
This is a great hike but its low lying so if there has been heavy rain the trail will be flooded. We had to turn back before the first bridge on the map.
Checking out the sunrise and sunsets
Awesome place to walk. Wear good shoes as it is often muddy and occasionally wet.
Nice hiking trails
Love it
