Nice spot to hike through an example of Floridas cypress swamp ecosystem. Plus, book an airboat ride from here, lovely picnic spots, and can imagine the birding will be stellar in the winter.

We had a great time touring the conservation area with Gator Bait air boat rides. Observed lots of birds, fish, turtles and many gators both large and small..Very peaceful out on the water here.

If you love Florida and the swamp as much as I do this place will capture a place in your memory!

Space is pretty cool. Im doing a survey over here in the berm 1st St Johns water district area sound like that you know that I could preserve fishing hunting wide open lots of cattle all right cool spot

Trails were grassy but high about 10 inches. Despite airboat noise there was bird activity. Butterflies and few birds were posing for camera. No gators, snakes, mosquito, hawks or osprey. Cypress trees with moss are picturesque. Flowers were on both sides. Many eggs were dug up and eaten. In summer it would b hot, not much shade.

Beautiful area. Marsh vegetation lots of birds. We saw several Ospry and of course, gators... Wow!

Lots of wild life, good fishing, water appears clean.Bass, gar, talapia, catfish, and lots of frogsVery easy to get lost. Bring a GPS. Also water is very shallow, 1-2 inches in many places

The air boat tour was very nice. Saw a lot of birds and alligators. Right next to the boat. The guide knew fun bits of information. They need to have a better address. Their address was not in my brand new Garmin GPS

A true place to experience Floridas beauty. Water is clear and wildlife is abundant.. Great place to fish, BBQ and have a great time to enjoy the outdoors...will definitely be back.

This is a beautiful place, and it is a shame men can not take their ladies with them because the restrooms are so gross! Who is getting paid to take care of them? I was at Garcia this Monday and the last time it was cleaned was MAY! It is always the same at stick marsh, GROSS! Come on, someone DO YOUR JOB and make sure they ARE CLEANED!

Amazing place. Magical and spiritual atmosphere. Old Florida and mother nature permeate this natural area. A boat is pretty much required to enjoy the true sights. Fresh fragrant air!

The family and I went out for an airboat tour with Florida Cracker Airboat Rides and had a great time. There are several alligators, birds, and turtles that can be found in the area.

Caught a few fish was a cold day but enjoyed it

Blue cypress area is a great place I enjoy it I dont do much boating I havent been out there lately but I really enjoyed it is great place for fishing camping and all those who like are boating and all those things

Excellent wildlife opportunity. Bring your own toilet paper, anti-bacterial cream and courage of you plan to use the facilities.Marsh Beast Airboat and Captain Lindsey were fantastic!! Learned so much and what a great ride. Tons of opportunities for photos.

Good place to go watch Gators. Fun place to catch bluegill. Theyre fixing the road to make it more accessible

Great place to go for airboat rides with fantastic scenery and wildlife to view. There are boat ramps to put your boat in the water. Fishing is good and if you are a photographer there are great shots to be had. Airboat operators require reservations, check the web for several different operators who use site.

My family and I absolutely loved our time spent here! I highly recommend it!

Fantastic lake with only one community located on the west side. Plenty of fish and wildlife. Cyprus trees surrounding the edges.

Interesting history... Used to be a field for cattle and horses. Then the Garcia family moved, dammed it up, then the rains made it a glade. Alligators, birds, and air boats. Good times!
