Only just discovered this quiet place to watch the Indian River. Seats available to allow you sit and relax and watch the river.This is a historic place for Vero Beach. Parking is good and there are Restrooms which are close by.

Great place for the kiddos to cool off with a fun view of the bay and bridge to watch the boats. Bring big spray if youre not planning to go into the water. Surrounding the fountain and the tables are biting midges.

Beautiful area along the river.

Great for kids when the splash fountains are open, but other than that its a quick stop for a great view under the bridges on Indian River.Some fish off the pier and others go to see if they can get a glimpse of the dolphins playing. (There are times when you can see lots of dolphins and other times, not one to be seen. )Nice views across the water to Memorial Island, Riverside Cafe and of course, both bridges that cross the river.Birds, mostly Pelicans, can be seen hanging out hoping to get a fish.Boats pass through the no wake zone between the bridges in this location so it is fairly quiet.There are restaurants, a few small businesses and bars along this road, some offer great views of the river, but the prices can be a bit high for what you get.Bottom line, worth a stop to check it out, but not a place to spend the day!

It could be a nice little park but it seems like it needs a little maintenance.

Beautiful area to walk/jog. The fountain (or splash pad) is fun for kids. The old dock rails were aging and were recently replaced with a better material, now I dont worry as much about the kids running around. I love sitting on the dock while I eat lunch, watching the birds and dolphins go by.

Take your small kids here! This is where the locals bring their kids during the heat of the summer. There are air conditioned restrooms and picnic tables to enjoy your home-prepared snacks.My wife and I are new to town and have met so many other local families here. The people in Vero Beach are welcoming and kind.If you are more in the mood for fishing there is a dock right past the park to throw in to catch snapper and other fun fish.5 stars!

Great place to let kids play in the water fountains! But its nothing fancy.Picnic tables (that are sometimes shaded) to sit at. Not entirely closed in, front gate stays open all the time... And kids can run down the stairs towards the dock, which is gated.

Great place to take the kids its free and you can bring food and drinks .if you dont want to sit in the sun bring an umbrella it was hot but worth it kids played all day ..

Fun place for kiddos to run around. Love that the river is fenced so kids can run around without fear of falling in. Says its $1 but I couldnt find a place to pay. Great place to dolphin and plane watch.

What a fun and relaxing place this is! For a grandmother who doesnt swim with a granddaughter who loves the water, Royal Palm Pointe Park is the answer. I sat at a picnic table and chilled while my 4 year old granddaughter ran in and out of the water. We will be back on a day with no pop-up storm!

Good for kids younger than 5. My almost 6 year old and 8 year old are done with it,but my almost 3 year old loves it.

Nice park that needs a little TLC. Kids like the water fountains but they are turned off often. Could use an overhaul after the years in service.

Nice place for an evening stroll. You can walk out to the end and possibly see manatees or porpoise in the river. Also a good place to take a kid fishing for a bit

We walk near the park quite often, and love looking out to see the river there, viewing fish and dolphins, let alone lovely boats going by on the water. It is in disrepair as a result of a hurricane, which destroyed the pier. It has a lovely fountain park for young children to cool down in, when it is turned on. There are public rest rooms, handy too.

Pretty awesome splash park but has strict hours. The water never stops flowing so the fun is endless for the kiddos! Very clean bathrooms but you may come across a begger once in awhile.

Relaxing small get away. Great place for toddlers to run thru the water fountains. Personally, I enjoyed watching the boats cruise by. Its my secret place to meditate.

This is a pleasant place to watch the river. There are restaurants, antique shops, boutiques and condos. Several events are held here including a craft beer festival. There are beautiful mosaic columns facing the lagoon with native flora and fauna on them. The best part is a large in-the-ground fountain that small children love running through. It can get very crowded here. Royal Palm Pointe was the terminus for the old bridge.

Beautiful grounds there is a water park here for children along with picnic table and a grand view of the icw. Check the hours for the water park. Also a fishing dock is here. Parking is easy. Bring a picnic lunch and eat while watching the dolphins jump!

Great place for kids and maybe adults. No shore access. Not pet friendly. It’s a nice place to go cool off because the water is nice. There is tables but I recommend bringing a beach umbrella or something to cover up from the sun. It’s a pretty place. You can see the bridge and the water from here so it’s nice for pictures.

Beautiful location.

The park is open until 3pm during the school year. I believe 7 during the summer months. A great resource for any parent. 5 stars for shaded seating areas; you can bring an umbrella to lounge in the grassy areas on the north side.

Okay park, but the fountain is closed Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday. Very disappointing for the little one.

Love love love this place

I love bringing family and friends to this free park with interactive fountains and picnic tables. Theres a (closed off to the kids) fishing dock which is also great to sit & relax watching for manatees or dolphins.

My kids LOVED it here. The fountains are big enough for me to go and play with my kids and have fun myself. Ive been to a couple different splash pads but none come close to this one. I wish there were one more like this where I live! Ill be visiting on every trip I take to this area!

My kids have enjoyed this park and the fountains since they were very young. Great place to bring the little ones.

Beautiful rooms with seascape views of the lagoon. The residential component to a club in three parts that includes a golf course and wonderful club with pool. Access to the club itself requires knowing a member.

What a gorgeous location overlooking the Indian River, framed by the Merrill Barber Bridge. It has a great sprinkler in the middle for the kids to cool down, a small playground and beautiful views.

No updates to the parks website. Looked up times, website says open until 5pm.Arrive with two children and a toddler looking to enjoy the sun and park and its _still_ closed for Irma?!? Can we please get this fixed

This park is nice but in a state of disrepair. There was a boat dock that was closed due to hurricane Irma damage from last year which is still fenced off from the public because it has yet to be repaired from wind damage. The kids water fountain was closed, not sure if it is in operation at this time. There is a good view of the bridge and the Indian River.

Cool place to stay for a while to rest

First of all what makes this place amazing is that it’s free second of all my daughter loves the place and she’s like five - she can run around the water splashes up it’s amazing I traveled 20 minutes plus out the way for my daughter to have this fun enjoyable experience on the weekends

Fountains for the little kids to play in.Its FREE and open to the public.Plenty of tables and chairs, but bring your own shade umbrellas and some sunscreen.

Its clean, peaceful, and beautiful.

Great place to bring kids to play in the fountain! Several great restraints close by. Gym and poke stops for the Pokemon masters out there.

You have to visit

Great place for when it is hot and youve got little kids, since it has one of those fountains with jets embedded in the ground, that squirt up water seemingly at random. Bathrooms and water fountains, with a pier for netting minnows. Nothing else however.

I used to go here for pokemon hunting! It was always very lively, and at night it was fantastic. But, after pokemon go died down, it just dissolved into a nice view.Still a great park.

A little splash park tucked away at the end of a dead end road. As I was sitting there waiting for the sun to rise, I saw several dolphins swimming past. Not really much for kids to do but they will have a blast in the splash fountain. There is a Pepsi machine and water fountain and public bathrooms.
