Havent had the chance to walk through again, just got to the sign. When I was a 9 or 10 we waded in the Marsh checking out all the trees the beavers chewed, used to break there dams down got chased a few times.was so much fun. Today its more like a park thing, not sure if theres beavers anymore, but it was a nice cool place then, hope all take care of it still today.
This trail is beautiful! The first thing I saw was 2 bunnies at the entrance. Its not very long, but it has other trails that branch off, so you can hike further if you want to. Any way my dog loved it, and like someone else posted, Its worth the visit!
Cute/short little woodland loop
Beaver marsh is an excellent place to take your mountain bike on an easy trail around the track I even take my 14 month old on his little bicycle there
Trail is kind of hidden but goes in a circle its not long at all but its definitely peaceful.
VERY short walk. No real parking either. Its a good spot to decompress after work or to clear your head for 30 minutes but not for any amount of exercise.
I loved it. It is definitely worth the visit and walk around the trail. Sadly parking is mostly nonexistent. There were lots of mushrooms, moss on trees and 2 benches along the trail. Freeway noise isnt as loud as going to Biddlewood park.
Excellent little walk. Smells like fresh air in the middle of the city.
Short, cool and pretty.
A short hidden gem. A quiet space amidst the chaos
Rough at times. Better in the colder months. When the weather is nice the police are regularly taking homeless and needles out. Often dogs off leash, some are good some are not.
Just a quick little 15 min walk around the mail trail. Nice but not worth more than a 5-10 min. drive, otherwise Id just recommend a neighborhood walk.
Peaceful, little nature preserve, great for a daily walk
Doggy loves it.
Very good walk, fun to walk with friends and talk, but gets freaky at night, sometimes weird people, but so far ok
Short and simple trail with a nice creek. Be careful, some areas have stinging nettles.
I use to think this was a great place to take my dogs until I started seeing tons of homeless people going back there at night and leaving in the morning. All the sudden seeing random people who shouldnt be back here wandering around. Also, we no longer feel safe going back there anymore. Looks like we will be moving sooner than we anticipated if it doesnt get cleaned up around here, only been here a little over a year. It is not fair to homeowners. Keep in mind fire hazards, human waste, and trash in the park. I wish they would make it a gated community back here.
1st time, it was cool. I loved all the different trails.
Beaver Marsh is a good and largely underused park in the Oakbrook neighborhood. It mainly consists of a wide, well maintained loop trail that crosses Peterson (?) Creek at the North and South ends of the park, with a small Network of trails on the west side used mainly by bikers. Its accessible from 98th avenue and 103rd avenue; the entrance on 98th is the official entrance. For being so close to the freeway, its surprisingly quiet everywhere but the northernmost section of the trail. Its a good place to walk the dog, go for a run, or ride your bike.
The park is nice its a trail actually with a loop it looks like, a little bridge crossing over a small creek looks like a good spot to see some beaver possibly, the entrance however is smack dab in a ritzy neighborhood with street parking and my experience very snooty residents maybe they were irritated with the parks parking but not friendly all the same. summing it up- trails nice and short and peaceful, parking sucks.
One of my favorite local walking trails
Nice place.
Freaky place after dark. Gangs and bad stuff. Stay away
It is convenient and provides a place for my active son to run, bike, see critters and catch crawdads but it is sketchy at times and loud due to location.
Nice short family and animal friendly hike. Lots of bike trails
Peaceful, somewhat secluded. If you come at the right time you will have the trails all to yourself.
Nice little nature area.
Great little park that is great to walk through, very mediatative
Great place for walking. Not much parking access if you dont live in the neighborhood though
Other than some highway noise, it makes you feel like youre in the middle of a forest when youre only in the middle of a neighborhood.
Short but pleasant
Beautiful place, soothing when it snows.
Great place to walk, clean trails well maintained and safe.
Great little park, very green and beautiful. Nothing for parking, but a good walk doesnt hurt.
Well kept trail. Nice to have close by.
For off leash dogs. Most people should just keep out!
Nice place to see Burnt Bridge Creek.
Nice nature trail with a nice creek but noisey as next to the freeway
Parking is so bad. There is none. They should put that on website. I wouldnt have wanted my time going there.
Apple pie
Great
