Ive been coming here since I was a kid. Beautiful park and secluded place. Frisbee golfer are kinda every where now but still a great place to get away in the city.
I love playing disc golf here its convenient to get to right off of I5.Ive read a few of the past reviews and people have mentioned the homeless problem I believe the county has taken care of that problem, yes I saw a couple of homeless people but its nothing like what Ive read in other peoples reviews I think that they should try coming back and checking out this park again. All the people Ive interacted with have always been nice and friendly. Now back to the disc golf course even though it does not have 18 holes its still a great course to play. If your a disc golfer youll like playing here even if youre a newbie.
Leverich 25+ years ago as a kid was a great park. It was huge with a nature feel as well as nice green grassy areas. Lots to do and lots of other families taking advantage of the parks perks. Fast forward to this day on our year of Covid. You see a park that looks as if it was the virus. Its run down its not well maintained at all. A whole new element runs through Leverich all day. Dont visit Leverich at night, especially alone. Criminal element is high these days. Dealers use it as a meet, and others use it to use. The unfortunate nature of homelessness has found Leverich and calls it home. So for what it once was to today its been a change in the negative for this once great Vancouver park. Im not saying you cant bring your family here, you can. Just do it earlier and expect to see something you might not want to. Bright spot however is its Disk golf course. Its used quite often and this park being where it is. Means just a quick trip from any point to go enjoy a round.
Nice park, easy access to disc golf, Burnt trail. Nice paved walk for an urban trail. Beautiful little creek. Bathrooms and portapotties at the larger access points. Parking limited but free.
Lovely paved pathway, excellent for biking, waking ect. A couple of hills nothing severe. Some parts are poorly treated by those who use it and the park has a tough time b keeping up sometimes, its an extensive path with limited access. Two places that you can park without a fee.
Still a great family-friendly place but unfortunately there are quite a few people in the lower parking lot now camping out due to the covid issue so its not quite as clean as it once was but the fact they actually provide public restrooms and a dumpster for those that are less fortunate then to have a home at the moment makes me applaud the Clark County Parks and Rec at least for Humane thinking
I would have given five stars, but it was raining like crazy. Great place to hike.
Disc golf course is aersome and the ppl who play are nice good humble people for the most part
Local, easy access, some pretty spots. Disk golf is popular. I dont mind sharing some of the space with those experiencing homelessness.
I LOVE Leverich. Awesome place for frisbee golf and had a lot of shade in the summer and a great workout! Sometimes it is really crowded but people tend to keep that in mind and keep the pace or let you through. I highly recommend coming here if you can.
Its never crowded and the frisbee golf is a good way to get some walking in
Awesome park has a river and frisbee golf.... Wwwwhat️
Nope to many people ask for cig extra change dont like it there uncomfortable
The city recently cleaned up the park. It feels and looks great.
Really neat park, cool folf course, lots of transients so beware at night.
When i went there the river smelled like sewer and there where more then a few people drinking beer. that may have been where some of the trash was coming from.
Beautiful apartment homes!!!! NEEDS TO be many Many more like these!!! The Bathrooms are Amazing !!!! Good Job!!! Would have been much better if the places were attached to the garages but oh well!! The insides are beautiful!!!
Seems quite popular for the disc golfers. Doesnt offer really anything aside from that. Not even water, sigh.
Beautiful little park. Unfortunately because of its secluded parking, there are numerous homeless folk living in their vehicles in the parking lot at any one time. As a woman, I will not visit this place by myself...the homeless have also taken up residence (squatting) in the covered picnic area building, and will aggressively harass you for money, cigarettes etc. Stay away from the covered building.
Nice park with frisbee baskets . Lots of trees with Burnt Bridge Creek flowing through the middle of it
This park is kept very clean considering how large of an area it consists of. More than just your average park leverich has disc golf built in grills for convenient family get togethers or birthday parties and such. Playground area is at the bottom where it is completely shaded from the dangerous and hot rays of the sun this is often an oversight when placing childrens play ares but the equipment can get so hot it can leave burns and the like on little kids. Or at the very least it can ruin a good day and make the play equipment un usable. So from the play equipment placement to cleanliness to accesability and location it is the perfect place for your familys get together or just a quiet shady place to get your thoughts together and think or read. Love this place
I love this park! Great place to take the Whole family! Lots of amenities and great times to be had by all! Special events in the summer time for familys keep us coming back! Looking forward to the Christmas time events in the park hosted by our community leaders coming up later this year! Holiday cheer to be had by all!
Wow..yes the nature here is beautiful but I would not come here again. One of the park entrances was full of homeless as well as some teenagers that came out from the bushes, don’t want to know what they were doing. The other entrance was better but it’s a really sketchy park overall. There’s way better parks with just as pretty nature. Not worth it.
Fun place to play disc golf.
Best spot for a little disc golf!
Love that place its like a friend family reunion
This is a beautiful park but there are some incredibly sketchy people that hang out and live in the bushes here... personally I wont be back.
It doesnt feel safe. Lots of loitering people and broken down cars up to who knows what
Beautiful park too bad it’s full of homeless people and it doesn’t feel safe. I will not go back again.
Its a nice park but a lot of homeless hang out in the park.
Too many homeless people asking for money.
Playground is decent, creek is pretty, disc golf course so heads up, nice walking/biking trail but bikes get going pretty fast making trails blind corners dangerous. biggest problems are the homeless that have taken over most of the park & all the damn garbage that gets left everywhere. those 2 problems take the score from 5 to 3.
Great park to walk
Love learning to play disc golf
Medium level disc golf. You can feel good about your score. Homeless population can be challenging.
This park is in a great location. It has a disc golf course that is a lot of fun, and its located on the Burnt Bridge Creek trail.
Not a lot of people lol
Amazing disc golf course but shared with an over abundance of addicts and homeless people. Most are nice at least but the one or two bad eggs ruin it for the whole egg salad lol.
Just a good course
The city does a good job keeping events and social gatherings posted. Such a differance 20 years makes its very nice here.
Nice park central to town. Nice trails and a great disc golf course.
Very dynamic landscapes! It has bridges, hills, paths, fields, a nice spot covered by trees, pretty much everything you could want. It gives an amazing feeling for being out doors, even though youre in the middle of Vancouver. One of, if not the best parks Ive ever been to
Nice park, frisbee golf course, but also a hangout for a lot of homeless people. I came across quite a few used syringes, in one of the covered picnic areas. Watch your small children.
Great disc golf course, decent mix of open field shots, and technical terrain
Nice place to take a quiet scenic walk
Beautifully maintained Disc Golf Course
Theres a really nice kids play area with newer equipment. Unfortunately, I often see people hanging out near the playground with drugs or worse. I probably wont be taking my daughter here again.
Yikes. Not a family friendly park. Dirty and grungy. Won’t be going back.
Nice size 0ark and alot of disk golf pins was nice clean and peaceful
Nice and peaceful for the area.
Beautiful park with trails and frisbee soccer, but entry parking lot has unusual traffic, markings of drug dealers & druggies, needing cameras to protect our community! Be safe, be prepared, bring your cellphone and a friend, reporting any issues to 911. That park belongs to the community, lets take it back by our presents in numbers as we enjoy ourselves!
1st time there. Signs were helpful in finding the holes. But in cases where we didnt know where the hole was, people were super friendly in pointing the way. Hole 7 is tricky to find cause it was recently moved. But its there. Almost lost my disc on #9. Someone did lose their disc on #10. All-in-all, great park. Definitely a step up above the Glenwood Church course.
Nice disc golf course, too many homeless people
A great park to walk. Watch out for the frisbee golfers. Big trees, quiet spaces, lots of hilly paths to walk or bike
I love the park with its long paved pathways and disc golf. It has a quaint little play area for the little kids and a covered area for family get togethers. I didnt like the alcohol that everyone was drinking especially around all the kids but other than that it was clean and a wonderful day out at the park.
If you like frisbee golf its the place to be.
Good community park, use to be better when they had the really long slide.
One of my favorite Disc Golf courses in the area!
Nice little walk with my dog
Front desk was very helpful and nice! And the storage is in a very convenient place between I-5 & 205 the price is decent!
Nice disk golf spot
Awesome lunch on Saturdays...free
Not well maintained but Im sure Vancouver does the best they can considering a lot of the people that come here are sketchy. Most of the folks here are cool but it only takes a handful of crack heads to ruin it for everybody.
My son had a busy with his mom at this park
Fun disc golf course! Lots of room and stuff to do. A few folks who are in a bit of a bad way, but had a blast nonetheless.
Beautiful well kept park with a covered area for eating on those rainy days.
Complete getto. Be careful
One of my favorite disc golf courses to play. :)
Community support for struggling people, cant ask for anything more than that. Disc golf, swings, and neat exploring areas.
Bumper cars were the best, oh, and the mini golf too!
Beautiful place to throw disc. Play ground for kids to enjoy. Pick nick tables and bathrooms available as well. Very enjoyable.
Lots of homeless took it over.
Its quiet and peaceful
Use the disc golf parking lot, the west parking lot was... full of dealers
Good disc
Nice quiet spot to walk or sit and read
Very beautiful park, but the home deprived people are every where down there and make it not so pleasant sometimes. Great place to play frisbee golf.
Drug needles as far as the eye can see. Several homeless on any given day. DO NOT go at night unarmed. The stream there smells horrid like human waste. Best disc golf course in Vancouver.
A nice quiet park tucked down away from the freeway. Lots of tree canopy and shade, a small Creek, and a disc golf area. The bathrooms are usually locked it seems, but there is a large group picnic area next to them so perhaps they only open them when theres a group.
A beautifully landscaped and well maintained park that has playgrounds, public restrooms, and is part of the vancouver discovery trail.
Great disc course. Only 13 holes though
Love this place in the summer perfect for relaxing in my hammock
I love this park! Tucked away but still in the heart if it all
Good Disc golf course but expect to lose a disc or two. Seems like a hangout spot for folks who dont have much to do
Its a place to go, Such as many places.
Just your basic park but it was well kept
Quiet and shady. Some homeless people. And some families bbq and playing on swing sets.
Big yes, but always fun, negative. Dont interrupt someone playing disc golf you might get jumped
Home away from home
I was born & raised in Vancouver and this park used to be my favorite place to go. Disc golf and all the weirdos really ruined the whole feel of the place. Wish it would go back to the way it was before...
About to go here read through 20 reviews or more. This is such a sad & situation. City of Vancouver or somebody and Parks read this or can be alerted.Serious public health & safety issue
Nice open spaces. Well maintained. Animals are welcomed if leashed.
