The course is well maintained and clearly marked. And its nice that the baskets change location regularly.
You can walk all around get some good cardio, play Frisbee play Frisbee golf, have a picnic take your grandkids there take your children there its a peaceful park, its a good place to go. The park is huge.
Leverich Community Park is a wooded 16-acre park is located along the Burnt Bridge Creek and features a variety of park amenities.Including a 12 hole disc golf course good for beginners, or even some more advanced players to hone in your mid-range game skills. There are some recent upgrades to the disc golf park. Atleast three new pin placements adding some longer distance shots so you can cut those drivers loose.
Fun 12 hole course. Some of the holes are missing signs again.
Had fun with my boys learning how to disc golf
Great park and great disc golf course.
Fun little course. Practice basket is gone. WTH?
Fun and challenging lots of hills but big and open.
Its a nice park.
Great course with some holes that are very challenging and others for beginners. Overall a fun experience for all.
Fun, and not a bad course for beginners!
Well maintained park. Usually has good vegetation management and changes in basket locations
Such a great course for a small community. I feel welcome Everytime I return by the people. To be honest the real toxic people there are the ones who dont play. The homeless mbers are even more respectful.
Great shorter course. Very diverse throw scenarios and great for lefty/forehand throwers. Forces backhand only throwers to play smart for several holes.
Too many bums living there
Really great wooded course
Well kept and fun course however there are some homeless and vagrants around. Didnt have any issues as I came during weekend day when crowded and I golf with my giant hound, but I wouldnt come here alone or near dark. Sad because this used to be one of my favorite places to play when I lived here years ago.
Short but fun baskets. Not crowded. Some trash.
Really nice park, but there is so many homeless people with bad attitudes loitering that it does feel uncomfortable now. You see people shooting up between holes, thinking are they going to get hit with a frisbee? Trash all around the creek sadly. I wouldnt go here without friends.
Good quick course. It could be better marked, did some wandering.
Wow! You guys are right on top of your Google reviews, arent you? OK, well, heres my deal. The course itself is as fine as any other. I have no complaints there. The setting, though, Leverich Park, has become so run-down and has quite a bit of graffiti, plenty of which is completely inappropriate for young readers. I was harassed by an indigent person when I approached the covered area to look for a place to charge my phone. Then not really harassed, but annoyed by a different person who insisted on talking to me about nothing in particular while I waited for a quick, 10-minute charge instead of the thirty minutes I planned while having a nice lunch.I didnt really have a good time that day. I dont have any desire to return or recommend anyone else to go there. If I happen to be in the area, I might stop by to take some pictures of the graffiti to post here. My rating is a firm one star.Like a lot of clowns, I usually dont like to talk much, but you asked, so I got right to the point. Please forgive my abruptness.
Been going to this park for 15 years & love it.
A fun clean course I love it Ill be back lots!!!
Beautiful trees and a peaceful walk through the park.
Fun place. Good trails for a walk.
Good disc
Nice and large dont k ow about disc golf. Cool and well paved paths .
The course was great, there are some good challenging holes here.
Beautiful 12 hole disc golf course through mowed fields and wooded areas. In close city park also offers trails and picnic areas. On-site parking areas (3).
I love playong disc golf here because its close to home and conveniently located, but its pretty methy these days...
Most difficult course in Vancouver. Best maintained course in Vancouver. Maintainace frequently moves baskets to keep things interesting.Again, do not come here at night!! People have been murdered in this park at night.
Might as well be called Hypodermic Park. Full of discarded foil and needles, transient camps and other goodies like disc golf. Had one guy ask me if I had seen JO JO..Upon askong he said that JoJo is a lion and he came through this way. Dont take your kids unless you want them to be taken.
Great family park in the daytime not at night.to many homeless people
Great park with somewhat of a homeless gathering problem but great disc golf course.
Good place to escape the city. Quiet and green. Saw a few homeless people also, but they did not bother us.
Very lush, green pastures. I cant wait for my next visit!
Really nice facility although not safe place to bring little people. (Homeless and drug use)
Cleaned up since a few years back. Stream runs through it. Great for kids, family, picnics, and disc golf. Pretty large park. Playground and bathrooms also
It is fun and easily navigable. The creek is a cruel mistress however. Bring a backup disc just in case. All and all a great round. Plenty of picnic tables for refreshments and breaks.
Challenging and funPeople are always cool about letting faster players play through
Nice size disc golf course that takes about an hour with a few people.
Best place in Vancouver to toss a disc!
First time playing disc golf, and this place was amazing. Beautiful park and a fun course
Awesome course great for beginners and still challenging for the more advanced
Awesome place for family fun.
Up and down course with lots of trees to bounce your disc off of. Not super well marked. Used a map we found online. Favorite holes were 2 and 11. Pretty popular on Saturday afternoon..
Good place for frisbee golf.
Tried and true, love this place. The guys that set this course up play it on the regular and have it dialed in.
What is a very good time at lovers Park is a very good Frisbee golf
Awesome disc golf course, good people and a nice peaceful atmosphere
I filmed some shots here
This is a very fun place to play disc golf if you like to walk and throw a frisbee youll like this place. Bring a friend or two or three its fun.
Busy Sunday, but it was the first nice day since its mid winter, so expected and Beautiful scenery. Tip-wear waterproof shoes, lots of wet grass and leafy mud.
Gotta love it - lukes always changing it up
Too much homeless and too much vandilizim needs toilet paper in bathrooms and needs lightposts and needs security, needs maintenance in the woods ( cleaning groups ) to clean the park.
Nice little park also great for Wizards unite
Great course. Even after a good rain mud is minimal.
Awesome glute workout.... Quick paced 12 hole course.. Awesome people... Very cordial... CPL challenge holes...... Just a stop in play 12...... I love it...
Cool, short course. 13 holes with multiple tees and regular altering of pin positions.
Other than random people hanging out in dark places, this is a great park to play at. Bring a friend and some pepper spray and youll be fine.
A little scary with all the bums and the homeless sleeping around the park
The course was really fun. There is lots of human waste throughout the course from the current residents. Watch out for under the overpass bridge, lots of needles and waste there, too.
I always enjoy throwing a round of disc golf here, the people I have met have always been nice and friendly the only down side is there is not 18 holes
Wonderful course, but keep your eyes up and ears sharp.
Great disc golf course. Can be a little sketchy at later hours.
Cool park. Watch out for flying discs!
Disc course is well kept and the bathroom halfway is great. Good park with covered area bbq
First time playing the course. It would of been nice to have had a map to see the layout. From small town Iowa
Burnt Bridge Creek Trail is a great kid, dog and family friendly place to walk and bike. The greenbelt along the creek is rather long. You could start at several points along the greenway, like Stewart Glen Park in the west near Vancouver Lake to Leverich Park, closest to I5, to one off N Devine Rd. The trails are well maintained and marked. The paved path though not lined is wide enough for walkers and bikers. The elevation gain is minimal. Although you do cross some busy traffics, the overall ambience is peaceful and serene for a trail within city limits.
Great park. Only wish the bathroom was open year round...
Just played the mini golf, didnt have a disk
Problems are not with the course itself, but the overwhelming smell of marijuana. I know it is legal to use but most of us who dont, dislike the smell. Please if you use the park dont smoke so much that the rest of is get an upset stomach from smelling your drug of choice.
Good mix of shots. Its fun once you learn the course, but it is not easy to navigate the first few times played
Great course to play. Good for any skill level. As some holes are super easy and some get more difficult. All around a must stop for the disk golf enthusiasts
This is a great course... it has long holes short holes elevation chage
For what it is, its a really good course, 12 holes, fairly well marked good elevation change. Really I just wish it were 18
Great park to walk the dogs
I loved bringing my dog to this park.
Wish they would make 13 permanent
I work with a group that feeds the homeless here once a month...
Totally beautiful and perfect and peaceful I will be going back with my granddaughter tomorrow
5 stars for the exercise and challenge of the disc golf course. -3 stars for it actually being a homeless camp, that makes it uncomfortable to walk or partake in the amenities.
Its piecefull. And a fun place to play disc golf.
Beautiful park, not necessarily for beginners, be careful of losing your discs!
Check out my review of leverich park, it is not safe nor a great place to bring children or jog if you are a solo female. It is a felonious transient community hangout. It needs more security. The nature part of it is beautiful so I give that two stars.
Its a really fun course. Difficulty wise its not to hard, but has a strong river that is easy to lose a disc in. The park looks wonderful and is well kept. Just wish there was more than 12 holes... Cant have everything!
Rhis park has some nice frisbee golf, as well as some picnic tables, a covered eating area, a small playground, some large fields, some scenic walking or biking paved paths, and a small creek to explore.
Small course. They do a lot with a little space. Its not Milo but its fun.
Its a great course and not as easy as they say, theres strategy in making sure you dont lose disks. Allot of fun and a good hike.
The park/course itself is great, but there is a lot of trash left from vagrants in the bushes all around.
Homeless ruin the fun here
Nice park, looks like a good place for frisbee golf.
Love this park couple blocks from the house frisbee golf great barbecue areas a perfect place to have a birthday party or just be with the family
Cool course. Its free too!
