Saw the Apollo missions documentary and it was awesome and the addition of the star tour at the end made it extra special! Their museum is fun to walk through and very educational! Second time visitor but Ill make a point to visit any time that Im in town.
More of an all around local art, natural history, and native peoples museum with a planetarium dome and small observatory. The space aspect takes a back seat to the adequate natural history displays. Where this facility shines is its rotating local art exhibit space, and well appointed native peoples exhibits. There are lots of hands on activities for kids, and enough reading material to keep busy adults informed. The museum areas are free, and the staff quite friendly. Dome shows occur frequently and are priced fairly. For the native peoples exhibits alone, I would rank this facility five stars in the context of its location and size.
My husband and I consider the Faulkner Planetarium to be the first spot we fell in love with one another. In fact we bought our wedding rings from there!!
This place is such a great spot for Twin Falls! Love the events and the star parties. Also, the planetarium is second to none in my opinion. The show they put on are pretty amazing. The museum is also pretty cool. I really enjoy bringing my kids here!
Super awesome. Very much enjoyed every thing from the art to the bones to the show. Cute gift shop that was inexpensive so the kids could pick something out without breaking the bank.
Great place. The telescope is large and shows night sky objects well. The staff are great.
This place is very interesting! I always enjoy my time here.
I enjoyed all the dinosaurs, native artifacts, the range of different types of art and especially the astronomy sections. My children enjoyed the interactive experience.
Really neat way to watch a documentary! Well enjoyed the history lesson after the show.
This is a must do if driving through or taking the kids for a couple of hours out of the house. Took an Adult group from church and had a great time. Get on the internet and find out what show you want to see at the Planetarium, then walk around the museum while waiting for your show. Give at least an hour. Childrens area fun even for adults.
Its tops for astronomy! We will go again!
Lots of interesting things to look at. The planetarium shows are great.
Great place to visit often, kid friendly.
Love the laser shows. Just wish the annual memberships are not so much
Its such and educational and inspiring place to get excited and explore new stories and ideas!
Love this place and so much more to see other than Planetarium. Prices are really reasonable too.
A wonderful place for the family to learn and have fun together.
