I love this place. Its a great place to walk around with the kids, its free and educational. Im usually lucky enough to get to feed the koi fish by the little bridge going into the garden. So peaceful.
What an amazing place right in the middle of Tulsa! Beautiful volunteer-maintained gardens with many different sections. Includes the quintessential koi pond, some waterfalls, pools, fountains, winding stone pathways, bridges, benches, veggie garden, and every kind of tree, schrub, bush, and ground cover you could imagine. A must see while in Tulsa.
Wonderful garden when you know it is all done with volunteer labor.
The garden is about 14 years old but every effort is made to keep it fresh and vital. I love visiting here during all seasons. During the winter, you can peruse the succulents in the small green house and the pond is always an interesting feature. My pictures are from the summer.I always get some great ideas for my own garden here. I cant tell you how beautiful this garden is and how helpful the volunteers are. They are eager to share their knowledge and expound on the beauty of this Tulsa treasure.
This is such an amazing garden and truly a magical place. If you like plants, colors, or being outside you have to come visit. I honestly couldnt believe that we had such a brilliant garden and learning opportunity available. You have to see it!
There is a lot to see!! Beautiful and so many plants.
Most beautiful and serene spot in Tulsa.
Beautiful place
Great atmosphere. A must-see Tulsa sight, along with Woodward Park, Tulsa Rose Gardens and Tulsa Arboretum. The Teaching Gardens is free to enter and visit and enjoy. It has nice plants, flowers, landscaping, greenhouses, and small tables & chairs to sit and relax, bring your Starbucks and sit with a friend in the morning and talk about the Tulsa life. They have a small gift shop. Just a great place to go and relax and support. Entirely run by volunteers. When you go, make sure to sign the guest book, this gives them their support from the city to continue to be open.
Cool garden to walk through.
Brought my 4 year old and she loved it! We got to feed the Koi fish in the main garden part. Such A cool experience for free and lots of fresh air! I highly recommend this lovely park hidden in midtown.
A beautiful display of flowers, shrubs and they have an exquisite koi pond. Running water features, an education center and a wonderful staff of extremely knowledgable people that are curtious, helpful and well trained. I highly recommend Linnaeus this time of year.
Always love this place.
Wonderful people who work there. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Great learning experience and very peaceful.
This is part of a larger park. It was a very interesting house. Don expect any kind of a tour. You just walk around yourself. Luckily a garden member was kind and explained the house to us.

It was so beautiful. Beautiful flowers, fish pond, statues and memorial areas. It was so serene and comfortable.
It was the hottest day ever for a wedding. But the gorgeous setting offset the tremendous heat and became a backdrop for a wonderful memory for our friends.
I went on a cool summer morning. It was breathtakingly peaceful and beautiful.
Absolutely beautiful park! The smells in the air are intoxicating and the colors are eye candy.

It is absolutely gorgeous here, and the staff are wonderful. Love it here.
Such an amazing place. Beautiful and tranquil.
Beautiful place to wander and learn a bit about botany. Well taken care of gardens.
They have special classes and events for children and young people thru-out the year. It is a beautiful small garden with a variety of types of garden plants, and gardening techniques and styles to see.

The Linnnaeus Teaching Garden opens for the 2018 season on Tuesday March 6th
The Linnaeus Teaching Garden is such a lovely garden which so many different plants. The large pond gives the garden a quietness for visitors.
A STUNNING garden! Make sure theyre open before you head over, but so, SO worth it!
A must see hidden Jewel in Tulsa, if you like nature you will love this place...
If I cant be at the sea, this is my second favorite place in the Universe. The garden is beautiful, and hot days or cold days there is something special to see. One of the volutneers, pointed out unique bark of certain trees and explained that is their beauty in winter. I was fascinated! Lots of criteria goes should be considered when adding a tree, but I have added that to my list! I also learned that Linnaeus Gardens has a website and a FB page, so a sleepless night will find me on the website! I visit frequently and am constantly in awe of this entirely volunteer effort! I really hope you take an hour or two, ( I take four ) walk the garden and just enjoy. It does have a special spirit lurking about!
