Hidden Gem on the west side of Tucson. Great walking space, plenty of area for fishing and picnic-ing. Highly recommend for those seeking an outdoor walk to enjoy the sunset hours.

Im sorry i went past the oosted hrs judt to see if i could get dome quick casts in. But the water was murky and the beach was in shambles. I understand people wanting to enjoy themselves but really treat these community parks with respect.

Good fishing spot...needs more lighting tho...n bathrooms r gross n scary...

The lake is small but pretty and it is stocked with fish for fishing so th ar ts great.

Nice park with a small lake stocked with trout. It has picnic shelters, parking, and a small boat launch. Everything looked clean. Good place to visit if you have a hankering to see water.

Lovely way to start the new year with my family. Was peaceful and much cleaner than I remember as a child. And so many different kinds of birds to observe.

Too many homeless people (drunks) beer bottles and cans. Saw two people even doing drug deals at the park. So bad had to take the kids somewhere else due to it.

Very nice park good size lake. They stock it with Bass and catfish play ground ball fields bike trails public restroom. On Ajo and mission

Love this place. So serene in the morning and afternoons.

I really like this pond. Theyve been cleaning out the Reeds and it makes it look a lot smaller than it used too. Fish werent biting so kinda bummed out about our trip with the kiddos as I live an hour away and the reason for 4 stars.

Nice facilities, great lake, clean

I almost never want to tell people about this park despite it being here for many many years. With the expansion of i-19 and Ajo way I fear its going to be overrun but it is a beautiful Oasis at the foot of the Saguaro National Monument West. The lake is regularly stocked and fishing is allowed. There are beautiful birds it is very clean and many areas are accessible for folks who cannot walk or require assistance. It is my favorite public park in Tucson superseding Reid Park if only because of its location at the foot of Saguaro forests that are just breathtaking. I hope it always keeps its local flavor and secret spots. Do note it is right by Homeland Security and the Border Patrol along 86 which of course is a major Borderland Crossing corridor. This does not bother me but other people should be aware the area is filled with law enforcement as well as military. If you are abiding by the law you will have absolutely no trouble and be made most welcome.

Nice little lake with fish. Lots of ducks and geese for kids to watch and as well.Quite a bit of parking and ramadas to hide from the sun.I can see going back there to play with the family

Great fishing spot, u can go out on the lake with a small boat or canoe. Bring your kids to watch the ducks and other wildlife. Awesome views, nice picnic areas too.

Nice and quite Park for relaxing

Kennedy Park is absolutely the best park in my side of town. It has many ramadas for rent where you can plan your parties. It has a lake where you can fish!!!!! How cool is that? It also has many play sets for children, basketball courts and other attractions. I love Kennedy Park.

Caught nothing but weeds fishing for trout

This is a great park for families and pets, its wide layout and variety off different dessert plants make it a beautiful and peaceful outting for everyone. The open water and trails in the park give people and opportunity to get involved in different activities.

I played here when I was a child ( as in 3 to 7) its very nostalgic and memorable place to remember playing with my brother. New playground equipment and the Beautiful grass still makes it a wonderful place to be with your family and pets!

Beautiful day with lots of people with beautiful hearts for the Soto Family

Its dog friendly we heard so took our 2 pups there. Big lake, lots of ducks etc, several people were fishing and a group of guys celebrating. You can walk all the way around the lake and down several paths...just needed to watch out for broken glass and items not safe to step on or for pups to eat. But over all very nice.

Havent fished in about 5 or 6 years at this place. It took all of 43 minutes and x marks the spot. Cant wait for catfish season start

Park facilities were closed no restrooms, potholes everywhere. Such a pity that this beautiful park area is not maintained properly. Such an eyesore what kind of tribute is that one of our great President John F. Kennedy. Disappointing to say the least. Shame on the City of Tucson.

I forgot how nice it was to spend time at the park. The kids and grandkids had a blast!

Completely under-rated place. I would expect a place like this to be crowded in the evenings. Amazing sunsets and great place to fish and have picnics.

This park has some of the nicest views of Tucson. It has very low lying hills, but sweet views of the city. It can be quiet, most of the time. Ample parking! Ample places to just sit, even without a car, if you just want to see the scape & decompress. My favorite, right now get away spot!

Nice park. Itd be nice if they would finish the upgrades. I come past here a couple of times a week and the only thing thats changed over the past couple has been multiple trenches dug up and then left that way. Maintenance man said they were supposed to be done by now but that hasnt happened. Looks the same it did a month ago when they started tearing it up. As far as upgrades, Im not sure what they intend to do but at this point wed be lucky to have the park back by Christmas.

I forgot how beautiful the lake is at night. Great kick back spot. Late night fishing...

This review really only applies to how much fun it is for pokemon go community day. There are 9 stops and 3 gyms here, not counting whats at the lake, so its easy to spend 3 hours in one spot.

Feeding the ducks here at Kennedy Park is common reminds me of my childhood. Yeah, those ducks are still there!

Bad experience took my 5yr old grandson to show him fishing and there was kids throwing rocks at the ducks. Not only was the kids saying thinkgs for telling them stop throwing rocks but the adults where too Rude

Kennedy park is a great lake. I love the water and cute white swans. You can fish here. Or wanna hang out. Evening is best to come out. Not so hot.

Local park I visit often. The lake attracts migratory birds which I enjoy taking pictures of and a place to kayak with out having to drive very far. Ive never fished here, but it is stocked and its a popular place to fish.

New Northwest area part of main park Party ramada and playground for children clean, much better than one near Public library although gang tagging has commenced. Drinking fountains are hit and miss if functioning. Main park playground off Mission near library still seedy; traffic speeds through between 30 - 40mph. Trash, empty beer cans /bottles found there, Sad but homeless, alcoholic and addicts come begging. Red warning cones placed in deep holes where work was done but not finished. Poorly kept Park on the west side. Tucson City Park visibly neglected.

Get rid of the homelessness then itll get better

Quite and peaceful. My kids and I went down to fish and play. We really did have fun. More trees near the lake would be the only down side but worth it.

Theres a public pool, huge Lake its stocked with fish you can fish there. Lots of trees, although I wouldnt say that the Landscaping is very well maintained lots of improvements that need to be made throughout the park. And I was shot at one night while walking through the park I could feel the bullet go right over my head snapping off the branch Just In Front of Me Above causing it to fall and Hit me in the face. I wouldnt say that its a safe place to be at night. Lots of homus Indians drinking and doing drugs sleeping on the benches benches the place and then ripping off the nearby Neighbors

Wish they had lights installed on the ramadas so it would be easier to see and wish the signs had the numbers of the ramadas on them so it would be easier to locate

Went to a wedding there and even though it was the day before cinco we mayo it was very nice

Kennedy park is a large beautiful park with lots of room and ample parking. Numerous Ramadas throughout. Gates are opened and closed at odd times so hard to know where to go park sometimes. But other than that it is a nice place to visit and relax

The lake area of the park got repaved. The giant potholes are finally gone and the roads look amazing.

This park is great and close to home but it would be super awesome if there was signs at each entrance that listed the Ramada numbers that are accessed from the entrance. Theres a number of entrances off of La Cholla and a couple off of Mission road.
