It allows me to sit down and unwind on my walk home after work. There is a very cool WWII monument. A Carnegie Library is there which is now a childrens museum. There is one of my favorite installations in Tucson. An awesome statue installation of a Griffen called Toby by a well known artist. Its a nice place to have a picnic or just have lunch if you work downtown. Enjoy!

Fresh coffee n Dunkin donuts at 8:30 am coming from Pastor Amos. You get a awesome devotion with the goodies! Cant beat that! Just to let you know the lawn is wet from being watered, at least its watered! There are no tables or many benches, so bring a blanket. Oh my goodness, its so peaceful, you can surely gather your thoughts and take the world on with a new outlook!

Beautiful park! Swarming with homeless people. Its not fair that the community who pays the taxes to have nice places to go to like this one, find themselves only to be harassed by people with their hands out. Its sad that our city has so many but why every Park not a single one doesnt have homeless people. But this one is just scary at any time of the day. The police should try harder. Im tired of them letting this get so bad

Great little park, its not really a kids kind of place. There isnt a play area for them like some of the other parks. But it makes for a quiet, relaxing place to go, when I want some me time. Ill take a lawn chair, and I set it up under one of the many shade trees. And bring my tablet, and play music, play games, or whatever. Its a great little park.

This one of many things seniors can enjoy at armory plus meals that are served every day during the week. There are still more photos but I guess they didn’t get on my iPhone as yet. This event took place today, November 27, 2019

It’s a nice little park to go have a lunch at. Some people complain about the homeless gathering at spots like this and annoying them. I have to admit I do get annoyed at times as well but we have to put ourselves in their shoes and only then can we understand. If I were homeless and desperate I would probably seek out locations like this as well. It’s an unfortunate situation but we have to accept it.

Covid hot-spot, if you think youre healthy and want to get your immune system up to snuff, look for the woman laying in the shade with a fly swatter. Approach said woman kindly and ask for a little 10 min snuggle. Although apprehensive at first, she will oblige, and then with permission and only with permission dig in deep. Get your little spoon on. Let her take the reigns as big spoon. You want to feel her hot breath and coughs right on the back of your neck, so you know the Covid is being transmitted. All the while ignore her constant fly swatting, this action keeps her calm. After a good while deep in the arms of the fly swatterer make sure to use the public bathroom available at Armory Park. Usually with out toilet paper, a loose syringe is more likely to be found in the bathroom stalls. Arizona is currently the Covid capital, and Armory Park is a variable Covid gauntlet for those willing to live amongst the Armory Park locals, even just for a little bit. Remember this virality test is not for the weak of heart and only for those who want to get this pesky Covid Virus done and out of the way. Because if you survive, youll just have an immune system that can beat down this killer virus, but a laundry list of people who no longer want to hang out. Point-Match You! BRITNEY SPEARS MADE ME DO IT...

I know the park as a meeting place for acro yoga, which is awesome, and usually a great place for stretching outside. However, there is a prevalent homeless population that also uses the park. Ive never seen any altercations, but I would not hang out at this park after dusk.

I enjoyed it very much and you can have a great time there. There is so much to do exercise classes along with dance classes. They also have a exercise room with equipment you can use after you had a two hour class. In order to enjoy most of these things you must be a member of the senior citizens and your membership take you to all the clubs plus the big park on Broadway and Country Club. They serve hot meals to seniors 50 years at a contribution of $2.00. To enjoy the meals you don’t have to be a member but you do have to be 50 years plus

If you ignore the multitude of homeless, this is a big grassy area with lots of trees to relax under. It has a sizable recreation center too. But when it comes to play area for your kids you must go across the street. Worry not if you dont see a childrent play area. Its right across the street.Just inside the gates of Tucsons Childrens Museum is a FREE public park for children to play in. Admission into the museum is not needed to enjoy this beautiful gem. Colorful statues of Chinese Dragons, Unicorns, Butterflies, a water fountain, a gravel covered play area with sensory equipment to make music on, giant blue blocks to build with. Beautiful architecture and stain glass of the museum its self is wonderful to look at. Best of all this area is transient free. Down side is there is no public bathrooms. You will need to pay for parking except on the weekends.
