Continue on this trail to the end and a half mile to your right is an active gold mine. Gold is found laying on top of the desert floor in these parts. You are not allowed to remove it unless you have a gold license from the state. The last person caught stealing gold here last year is now serving a 4 year sentence in the state penitentiary in Florence.

This trail is a hidden lil gem. Perfect for a quick and easy hike. Beautiful views throughout and and the end :) Plenty of parking.

Easy to moderate trail. Not the most exciting but fun anyway. The views at the end were good.

I loved the area but the trails were not marked well, at all. Also, road signage was lacking.
