Overall my stay was okay. For the price you pay to stay here i would expect it to be much better. There was a lot forgotten when they updated the king condos like sealing all the cracks and windows. It rained during my stay and there was water in both bathroom windows and in the bedroom window. My condo also has a spider issue so much i bought my own spray to kill them. My first king condo had big spiders and some kind of bug in the scorpion family i have two small babies. We moved rooms with no problem thanks to girls at front desk. My new king condo had big spider and baby scorpion in shower first night here.Hank was great coming out to see it and kill it. We have since had half a dozen more spiders since our stay. I know this place is in the desert but shouldnt be inside with my family. No comp was offered for all the problems just wanted to move again very hard with 2 babies. Positive about here the view from my back window is great. Theres road behind condo that has cars going to little hill half the night walking up babies sometimes. The bed was good and comfortable. Its great having full kitchen and dishes. Dishwasher wasnt working but we just washed by hand. All the staff we have meet are great Hallie and jasmine at front desk are always helpful and fast checking in extended my stay few times. Hank and other engineers were great fixing any issues and killing big spiders or scorpion. We would stay here again but without babies not place for them unless no bugs

Our check in was great! But our bathroom was not flushing correctly. Notified the front desk . They responded by saying they dont know whether they had the part. Well, apparently they didnt have the patt because it was not fixed and we were never notified of this. Poor service!

This was our second stay there fantastic place. The only issue this time was with parking. You are provided passes to display, however someone took 2 spots at our lot limiting the parking. Then they had guests stay for 2 days taking up the spots with no visible permits. we had to walk a distance to get to our vehicle. Apparently parking passes are not worth the paper they are printed on, and parking is not enforced.

We stayed for 2 nights. We liked the location the area was beautiful and well maintained. The room fridge was great kept our items cold. The shower had nice hot water. When we called for service they were prompt and courteous. Staff was friendly. Bed, pillows and linens were comfortable and in nice shape. Very grateful for these comforts. Provided coffee but no water. For the price ($250 a night) the rooms were average. They were musty smelling when we arrived and both bathrooms had a moldy smell we think from the shower curtains. We needed to open windows and air them out so not a great first impression. The faucet in 42B was loose so temp control was a bit tricky. The water pressure was too low. Not sure why most hotels dont have more than one decent size trash can. The hotel didnt provide daily cleaning which we were unaware of so we needed to contact them for extra towels and trash service. No available Ice machines or drink machines. If we needed something we had to contact guest service for all small amenities. No TV entertainment options like movies. The coffee area provided was appreciated but no light so it was hard to see to make coffee in the morning. They provided coffee but no water options so I guess we would have had to call guest service for bottled water which wasnt convenient. Overall I would look to stay again but would look for a better price point as it wasnt worth the $1500 for two rooms and two nights. The rooms are a bit outdated.

The property is nicely landscaped and there is adequate parking. However they really need to update the bathroom. It was very cold and the bathtub looked like the 50’s. There was not enough water in the shower. Other than that we had a nice time and enjoyed our stay there. The restaurant is good.

We stayed here through our timeshare. Nice community tucked away in the hills. Check in was easy. Staff were friendly. Our unit was a one bedroom. Huge common area and full size kitchen. Had a balcony/deck tgat had views of golf course and Tucson. Located only 15 min from the university. They have a restaurant on site.

The property was in a beautiful location, the rooms were good and clean, but there was no room service. If you wanted ice, you had to call the front desk and it would be delivered. If you needed fresh towels you had to call the front desk and they would be delivered. We were not prepared for not having room service, and I didnt see no room service on the website. It was frustrating and not explained until we checked in.

Far enough out of city for some peace & quiet but close enough for Tucsons Downtown, Westside, & Southside dining.Affordable stay that had a number of amenities including a pool, small back patio open to desert, an in-unit washer and dryer, refrigerator, and full kitchen to include plateware and silverware as well as some to go containers. Parking is close to units as to accommodate a close walk. Our unit was a 1 bedroom with king size bed, large sofa couch in living room, 2 TVs, a full size bathroom with a separate tub and dual vanity sink. The four stars are for poor circulation of the air, loud air conditioner, and poor lighting in and outside of unit.

Its getting old. You can tell it was very nice at one point but it is aging. It needs some investment. As an example, the pool is really nice but the surrounding surface is cracked and breaking a way. Bar, restaurant and golf course is run by the neighbouring Marriott and all are immaculate and well kept. The best thing about the golf suites us that they are near the Marriott facilities.

It was old school western rustic, was quiet at nights but in Tucson Airport flight path during day. Also we were surprised to learn after day 1 and not before that the properties are not hotel suites but considered time shares. So YOYO for daily housekeeping! Needed more towels. Pool area is very adequate and with shade in back. Golf is great and the golf service and course very nicely groomed and appointed. Overall our flight package, this “hotel deal” and car rental through travelocity was a great value.

The staff was very friendly. The room appeared clean but dated. Our biggest issue was spiders and outside disturbances. We found a large hairy spider in the bathroom, a tiny spider on a wall, and a medium spider landed on my husband while lounging on the bed. These condos are surrounded by the Sonoran Desert, desert bugs and wildlife are to be expected outside. The housekeeping manager was notified and the staff was receptive to the complaint. Seeing as the location is in a very quiet part of town, we did not expect to be woken up several times during our stay. We are woken up both nights to either loud outside party goers, loud vehicles, or security systems outside alarm.

Terrible! Outdated, non draining tub and bathroom from the 70s, no balcony or patio to enjoy the outdoors, 2 towels for a whole weekend stay, no amenity after sharing it was our 5 year wedding anniversary stay and told we had an upgraded room while the wall was falling apart and the grout was filthy. Was told we could keep in room Tucson book on phone only to be told we had to return it at check out or be charged. A terrible way to remember an amazing occasion. Thankfully the wings at the cantina were good and our dinner at Jw Primo was spectacular. Not this property though. Will never be back!

Over priced! They will nickel and dime you every step of the way. Rained out the first day and were given a rain check. We show up the next day and had to pay more money for a Sunday morning tee time. There was no one on the course that day. One of the attendants was gracious enough to offer us lunch on the house for having to pay extra. So after 18 we walk back to the club house to claim our meal. No one was there to great us or had any clue about our complementary meal. Shouldve been 1 star but the course itself was actually nice. Would I go back? No

Well I didnt want to get to the point where I write a negative review but here I am as I have not heard back from Start Pass or Wyndam.I am very disappointed in my experience as the room I booked did not match the photos on the website. It is now clear that the photos for the standard room are the photos for a suite. When asking about this at reception, they told us they know the website has an issue. We booked under the impression that we would have a kitchen with a sink and found that we had a shelf with a microwave and toaster, no soap or sponges to clean dishes were provided and everything had to be washed in a small kitchen sink! Thankfully reception was able to provide us with a small dish soap bottle when asked. The dishes didnt even fully fit into the sink.Had we known we would not have a real functional kitchenette we would have booked somewhere that offered a free breakfast - another thing that wasnt made clear. Honestly, apart from the nice location Im not sure what the resort DID provide as even new towels or bedding dont get provided daily - we were there for 5 nights and with the towels needing to be used to dry and clean the dishes, we went through all the available towels by the end. As a hotel - not bad, but as what was promised - very underwhelming.I booked because of the photos, and thought I would treat myself as it was a nice vacation. Your photos should match the product - at least then we would know what were paying for - since its not sheet change, towels or free breakfast!

We stayed in the golf suites, which are one bedroom adjoining units. Im not sure when the casitas were built, but everything had an old, tired feeling - the carpet was stained, the grout in the bathroom was sparse, there were lots of water stains under the bathroom sinks, the patio door would not stay locked, there was an 1/2 inch gap in the front door, and so on. The handy man fixed the gap in the door, since we complained about it (we had so many flies in the unit that it was an issue). The plus side is that the golf course if phenomenal and was in excellent shape. We ate at the Catalina BBQ restaurant twice - both times the food was excellent. There is a shuttle that will take you to the main hotel, which also has multiple restaurants and a lazy river pool. It appears they are remodeling, so I look forward to seeing it refurbished.

Positive: I picked this particular hotel due to the 4-Star rating and the size of the rooms (over 900 sq. ft.); although the size of the room did not disappoint, the 4-Star rating is definitely lacking. Negative: Louvered shutters on balcony not functional, bedroom clock radio not functional, shower enclosure leaked water (a lot), creaking floorboards under carpet, no daily cleaning service, extra towels ordered were left on chair and not put in bathroom on shelf.

Over 2 hours of noise...nice way to wake up Sunday morning. We got one with a private bedroom and felt it was very nice for the price. Step out onto the balcony and be one with nature and wildlife. Plenty of it to be seen right outside. Bedroom is very nice side. Kitchen fully stocked, minus food and beverage. Living room is very comfy. 2 tvs in the unit. Overall very southwest feel to the place. I would of like to seen a bit more modern bathroom. This one screams the 90s. The only other suggestion is a little more walkway lighting. I love the darkness at night so I can see the stars and all the wonder of a at night. But I also dont want to fall into a cactus walking to the car. I will be back again though.Pay attention when driving here its a bit of a hidden gem to find.

Disappointed b/c expectations were to use Starr Pass Resort amenities such as the multi-level pool, lazy river & swim-up bar & exercise facilities. Well the Starr Pass Golf Suites front desk clerk said thats a separate property & they didnt recommend I try to go there, as the Marriott is not part of the Golf Suites. My whole reason for doing this weekend staycation was to use our Starr Pass timeshare points (never stayed here but always exchanged for another Shell Vacations property) & enjoy the pool, lazy river & exercise facilities...maybe even walk one of the trails. All that was dashed at check-in when I was told that all falls under the Marriott Starr Pass. My husband & I dont golf, so I somehow feel like we got duped. Yes, the Golf Suites has a pool of its own, but none of the other options. I guess no spa, either. Oh, well. Its certainly quiet & very dark here. If youre seeking peace & quiet, this fits the bill. We have a one-bedroom. Its nice enough. Got a kitchen, too. The closest restaurants/bar are at the Marriott. Fast food about 10 minutes away. I arrived at sunset & the mountains in silhouette are always delightful. Nice view out the back patio. Just really bummed about the properties - JW Marriott Starr Pass & Starr Pass Golf Suites - being separate.
