Driving range is a very basic. There are noartificial grass matts, no overhead cover. Youll be hitting off of hard dirt. Not much to write home about. Ample parking.

Its very nice for a public course, never had a single issue out there. Good golf and great people.

Driving range is cool but be careful with the ball machine double charging your credit card each time it is used.

Great course in amazing shape! Only drawbacks was the occasional treatment plant wafting.

Silverbell Golf Course has never let me down in all the times I have been there. Now, let me first start off by saying that I am an amateur golfer for what its worth. I dont ever talk like Im a PGA Card carrying member, and I might lose a ball here and there when there is water, or if Im playing at Star Pass. Out there for fun and relaxation. Silverbell provides the wide open spaces I need if I vear a little right or left. Its a city maintained course and they do an exceptional job keeping the greens nice. There is some yellow winter grass on the fairways, but you cant water in the winter in the desert. Its all about Water Conservation in Tucson. Lastly, during this time of the year when you are out on the course you will come to know why Tucson is the place to be during winter. Also, a shout out to the cart people, Saw them 4 times on day where there were about 150 golfers out! Recommend :)Please like the review after viewing! :)

I play often at many different courses in Tucson and in Phoenix. This was the rudest experience that I have ever had by course pro in the golf shop Im not going to get into the details. They also had some horrible sewage smells while out on the course, many dirt patches in fairway, and traps full of rocks and mud. All around not impressed at all and will not return.

Long challenging Course with smooth fast greens. Always quiet and Enjoyable to play a round. I had not played in over a year and finished eleven over Par. Go Love Silverbell Golf Course again and again.

Good course for the area. Rangers dont moderate slow play and are quick to shut it down at night, even when you could get 2-3 more holes in.

This place is cool. Its under new management with a lot of good things planned for its horizon. Serving breakfast lunch and dinner now with some lovely PBIs and refreshing cocktails for those discerning taste buds. Good atmosphere friendly staff, requests taken, and you dont have to golf to be there. Prices rock and they cater too. Its good to know that I can wet my whistle in the neighborhood . I would rate this establishment +++a hidden gem. Casual attire.

Some of the greens are pretty rough, mostly 1 and 2how do you choose to put pin placements in the worst parts of the greens I dont know, there are plenty of options not in the middle of the s***

Easily accessible and nice golf course.

They ran a pipe across number two and number for and turned Silverbell into the new Goofy golf the average golfer now on number 2 is only going to be able to hit a little over 200 yards and then come to a mountain in the middle of the Fairway now if you hit a really good one you should have a radical uphill lie turn that into a par 6 then you get the fourth hole a par 4 average golfer could get their 1 + 10 x + 2 now in front of the green you have the same Mound that you have on number 2 blind shot at the Green . Im rethinking why I bought a city card this year year. We golfers all know that the citys trying to get rid of Silverbell.now if youre just 3 over par after the first four holes youre playing well there are other City courses that arent so brutal. First time playing this course. Pretty wide open tract.

The course is usually in good shape and easy to walk. If you are playing in the summer be aware that there is little shade. The greens hold well, arent too fast and are smooth. The staff is nice and friendly with food being served in the clubhouse again.

Course over all was in good shape, however the gentleman who checked us in, called the starter due to a communication error between the clubhouse and him, non of our problems. Actually came up to us and asked us Why are you f***ing up the tee times? Now I dont understand how anyone in any position would feel ok to same something like this. Again heard him cussing about the carts in front of more customers. If I would have caught his name I would have included it in this review. We played today at 2/25/19.

Course in disrepair, greens are fast, like putting on AstroTurf. Prices are cheap, but still not worth it. Didnt really like the interaction I had with the shop; cant quite say what it was, but it left a bad taste in my mouth. Im a younger player so maybe they dont think Im right for their course. Im going to take my business elsewhere, the round was barely worth playing so no loss.

Beautiful course but they put the parties to close and we had to wait at almost every hole.

Its always a great time at Silverbell they keep their course pretty nice I enjoy it very much

A good city course...... the course has improved the bridge has been fixed and the clubhouse restaurant is very good. Me and friends had the Panini sandwiches and they were great and a good price, the customer service was great. Will be back again.

This is a nice easy public course. There arent too many fairways that are really close to each other. Ever since the new management has taken over, its so much better kept. Its not star pass, but I would give it five stars for a public course.

A good, consistent place to golf. I usually golf 9 holes and go when they have specials on their rates. Clean fairways and greens with the right amount of grass. You wont be wowed but neither will you be disappointed.

Course is in great shape. Fast greens, mown fairways. Afternoon starter does not know his job. Jammed a 2some between my 3some and the group ahead on tenth tee. Inexcusable and a lame explanation of the 2 said they would play fast. Worst experience I have ever had on an OB managed course.

An excellent course for someone that has difficulty staying on their hole. Its wide open, so if as me, you tend to slice you can still play. A very challenging long par 3 at 16. Play can get slow. As a member of the club, Im biased. Johny G.

.No one goes here anymore, too crowded. Too many options in Tucson for a NO RAIN CHECK policy. Save your money and get more deals elsewhere.

Nice driving range. Out of the way enough that you never feel crowded, but not so far to be inconvenient to get to.
