This YMCA is my go to place for basketball pick up games and to workout! There is always something to do also! Very close knit place and everyone with a membership is usually friendly!

To small, its always packed. Hard to get in exercise room. Lady there wasnt very nice.

As a member from out of town, i was chagrined that i had to pay a day charge of $10 extra to use the hot tub and sauna. Im a member in a city with 6 branches. They are all new-ish [at hometown Ys] and none charge extra for this. In addition, this one wasnt cleaner, bigger or even different in any special way to make the upcharge understandable. It was also still a very long walk from the door to the locker room.

We visited the YMCA for an event they had open to the public. The staff were all very nice and the facility was pretty clean! The event was also very well organized and we really enjoyed it!

Nothing really for kids at the Troy YMCA, only been a member for three days and not what I expected. Don’t follow the schedule for the pool as they can change the schedule anytime. Very nice people I have dealt with except for the one up front tonight, she should not be in a customer friendly environment.

I rate my first experience only 3 stars because once I got my Silver Sneakers membership ( which I was questioned till they realized it went through ) Yes Im only 50 and I have been on Disability for almost 16 years. Second no one offered to show me around or take me on a tour of the Y. I took it upon myself to walk around and find out where everything is. How to get there and what to do. You would think they would have something set up for new clients/members. I hope it didnt have anything to do with being young and on Medicare. Being disabled is hard enough but being judged because of my age is another.

Great place to work put, nice equipment and clean

This is a great facility. There are basketball courts with a running track circling the upper part of the gymnasium. There is a lap pool and warmer therapy pool. Sauna use is for health club members only. The fitness area has lots of room to move around, and has a good mixture of free weights, focus machines, and cardio equipment. There are locker rooms for all ages and genders. All have showers and lockers. There are plenty of activities you can buy into and there is a daycare on site. Looks like some expansion is going on too.

They really do an excellent job here. Its an impressive place. The workout room is comfortable. There are plenty of tradmills and exercise bikes. The exercise equiptment is state of the art, and theres still room for the serious weight lifter. The pool is well maintained and theres plenty of scheduled open swim time. They also have group exercise classes which I havent yet taken but they have several offerings for different age groups most everyday.

This is my second go around with a Y membership, and I am benefitting from the good facility and the good class offerings. The track in the new field house is really nice.

We love their friendly staff! The facilities are always clean and we enjoy working out here.

Best place for hot tub, swimming, steam room, and sauna

Great place for my wife to exercise only wish they had different childcare policy. Ended up cancelling membership after 12 month contract over childcare. We might rejoin when children are old enough to use gym. Staff interaction has been great.

Great YMCA. They have a good pool. 2 tracks, basketball, mini soccer and lots of weights and machines. I wish they had an indoor tennis or racquetball too

Great facilities and equipment! Everything has its own door and room, so you will want a tour on your first visit to understand where everything is located and what is available. They also have separate secured (each requires scan card) locker rooms for men, women, boys, and girls.

It would be nice if people that frequent the Y knew the speed limit in front of this place. Watch for people pulling out in front of you while you are going 45 to 50 mph, they are all pumped up from lifting 100 pounds once.

They really need for stuff for kids, and I dont understand why they dont put a gymnastics program in like the sidney ymca. And the kids programs they do offer other than swimming have terrible leaders so far in our experiences.

My wife and I are Health Club members and do not pay extra for classes. I have an exercise class Tuesday/Thursday and swim after. We also swim on Sundays. Very nice facilities and wonderful staff!

Waste of money. Ive had tried a membership twice. The workout equipment is ancient, and was broke down a lot. Open gym, you cannot use the gym to train or condition because kids and adults will just take over your area. In some cases, posing a danger to others. The staff do nothing. The pool chemical smell is so horrible - there is a haze of chlorine.

This is a great y It has a 6 lane pool, warm pool, hot tub, weight room, 1 (soon to be 2) gyms, indoor and outdoor track and many programs and classes for everyone

Facilities are clean and functional. Swim classes for kids have been good. I wish the pool had diving boards.

Best child care and lots of things to do. Kids gymnastics are nice my daughter loves it.

First Y Ive ever been to that wont let you come in and pay to use the facilities unless you come with current member. Also charge $8 per visit as a guest, usually 6-7. Looks as if they used all their money on newer cardio equipment, even though no stair masters, and didnt upgrade their weights side at all.
