It was my first time paint balling and they explained the ropes to me pretty well and helped me with my gear. The field itself is huge so there was plenty of playing room and space to take cover. I enjoyed my time there.

Ive been a part of the Capital Combat Zone family from the beginning. I helped build and mowed grass on the original setup.Its a paintball field that just keeps growing and changing for the good as the years go on. Plenty of ref staff for private rental parties and walkons/on gear players to have separate games so that everyone is having a great time.And now airsoft players are a big part of the family with still refs and room for them to play as well.I was there yesterday and even though the field of horrors haunted house season is in, the rec paintball field will remain open for October.And they are busy building a new speedball field so that can keep going through October as well.Like I said, the field is forever changing and great for the paintball and airsoft community for all ages and families.So call ahead to set up your rental parties and follow them on Facebook for events.2 thumbs up and hope to see you there.

Great place to come play airsoft or paintball with a very diverse field and very fair prices at the pro shop. I always recommended CCZ for those who are either just starting the sport or a veteran for those facts alone. Not to mention the amazing staff that make it fun and safe for everyone. I havent found a field like it in the capital region :)

Traveled from 3 and a half hours away to play with my friends. Nice field. But only for those who frequent the place. There is a specific squad that plays there frequently that basically run the place. Anything they say goes according to the staff. Go to Albany Paintball Experience instead. I havent been, but it has to be better than CCZ.

Really great outdoor field with both range and cqb play. Ive only played airsoft here. The staff are fair and proactive. Definitely worth checking out.

Had an amazing and exhausting experience for our first time playing paintball. Staff was very friendly especially the guy who refilled our air tanks, he was quite funny. Place is big and affordable.Will definitely go again.

Best field in the Northeast! The refs are all knowledgeable and safety is the #1 priority! They are constantly adding to the field making it a fun and exciting for both Airsoft and Paintball!

Great for my first time. staff was friendly and informative and even my opponents were great guys/gals now I want my own gun and helmet but the rentals werent bad at all but youll see when you get out here. Cant wait to go back

Pros:- massive field for airsoft and paintball- variety of weapons- affordable prices- professional staffCons:- first time I went for airsoft, there was no safety brief- they asked if it was my first time and I said yes. The staff did not walk me through how to use the gear- a lot of garbage on the field- despite the field being so large, we used very small areas to play- safeties (referees) on the field are kids and are not assertive or knowledgeable of the game and what is going onOverall:- staff needs to be retrained for safety reasons- I will definitely go back but it is definitely a kids field

I brought my 11 year old son there last week.We both played and had a blast. Place is great.Pack a lunch and make a day of it.

My son and his friends went last weekend. They said they ended leaving sooner than they wanted to due to some of the staff that played with them werent following the rules of the game. Not calling hits and cheating made it unenjoyable.

Just came today for my firsttime ever i had so much fun i could believe it the staff were grate did an excellent job at making sure people were having fun and most importantly safty was always first on there mind ty so much you will see me again.

Today was my first time at Capital Combat Zone. The field is a really big, more urban/ cqb setup which is a nice change of pace from fields I usually play at. The staff was really friendly and stressed safety, which I appreciated because that shows that the staff actually care. The other players and the atmosphere at the field was also very friendly and welcoming. I brought 2 of my friends with me to check out the field and they both had a lot of fun and by the end of the day we were talking to all the players that were playing. Definitely recommend going there to play airsoft.

I had a great time at CCZ, a friend and I went there for ZERO HOUR 2019 and we had a blast. Staff was courteous and helpful, parking was plentiful, and the paintballs were very very painful.

Great location for airsoft in upstate NY, me and my friends had a blast, be careful going in the winter months though, the workers should ice and clear out the parking lot and fields more. other than the ice being bad, the staff was very friendly and though there wasnt many people, we made due. the staff let us pick games to play and allowed us to use different areas of the field to change it up and keep the fun going, we did team death match and king of the hill, if you want to know how the field looks and what its like there you can check out my YouTube video (not sponsored by capital combat zone) on my channel, @nickafis. 5 stars for this location, cant wait to play again!

Great place for weekend play and for scenario games

Its a huge field with great players. Best time to visit for paintball or airsoft is during the summer/fall. The Halloween event is also a great thing to visit.

Great recreational woodsball field. Diverse playing zone. Youve got Bush, youve got structures, youve got ponds. Plays very well.

The staff was somewhat unhelpful, we had never been here before and all they did is hand us our guns and thats it. Also they take a 2hour lunch break in the middle. When we were able to play it was a great time in a huge playing field

The haunted house that they host every October is absolutely amazing. Its broken up into 5 different areas, if you will. Haunted houses and a corn maze. The actors do a great job, and there were a lot of awesome scares. Could not recommend more.

Very fun to play at and the employees are very friendly and fun to talk to.

Great place to work out frustrations, and have a great time. I have seen men and women of all ages here.family groups, company outings, and groups of friends,all enjoying their time here.

I didnt joined,but Id watched the boys played it. Ouch!! Make sure the boys wear something soft on their body. Ive seen red marks on these boys bodies. Unless,the boys love to get red marks to be tough. There were also some girls there too.

Recently partook in the activity known as paintball for the first time in years. Capital Combat Zone made it simple and fun. Our party ranged from ages 11 to 40 and we all left wanting to play again in the future. While they had a Speedball court, we participated in their more relaxed Combat Field with a variety of different scenario based games.It does lack nicer amenities, such as plumbing - but there is a port-o-potty, large tent for shade and small beverage/snack stand. The focus is on paintball and thats where this place excels - we also found the regulars friendly and inclusive of our group (and knowledgeable if you decide to start making Paintball a regular activity of yours, check with Peaches). Bring a cooler, wear long sleeves and get ready to have fun.*5 Star fun*3 Star facilities

Im from south jersey and have been playing paintball for 15 years. A friend and I went to capital while on vacation and it was a perfect field ! We played with some home field guys and some noobs, good all around . The field guys and refs did a great job and kept the day moving with time split between paintball and airsoft. I wish we had a field layout like this in south jersey! ...Well done

I usually play paintball there. The field is amazing. The people who run it are generous.

Paintball is all about introducing new players into the sport. This field is huge and has plenty of perks. Unfortunately, the Refs are high school kids who cater to those who play every weekend with high end guns. Profanity is frequent with these players, and it doesnt make for a an overly good experience. New players are thrown in the mix without enough knowledge of the sport. Ive been playing paintball in this area for over 10 years and Ive seen fields like this fall before by having teenager run it....such a shame. PLEASE be good to new players as they are the lifeblood of this sport. Overall staff = unknowledgeable...would rather talk than play, 5 games played from 10am-2pm. Field = great...one of best ive played at
