Great overnight stop for a 35ft Motorhome with a toad, easy pull though sites and roads leading to the sites are gravel but seemed well maintained. Office staff was very welcoming and after check in we were guided to our site. Site was a nice pull though with a concrete pad woth full hook up. Lots of green space for our pups to use the bathroom and lots of area to get out and walk. Over all great park to stop and spend the night or longer if needed. We will be back, keep up the great work Deer Run RV Park.

We stopped here for a night and were led to our site by a young man in a golf cart. The steep incline to the camp site where we were taken was much too steep for our RV which resulted in SIGNIFICANT damage to our vehicle. We would need immediate repairs before we could continue on our trip. The young man did give us the names of repair shops for RVs which resulted in an immediate drive back to Montgomery, Alabama. We were offered no compensation for the damages, but I was most disappointed that this site should not be used by RVs similar to ours. I was also disappointed with the response that we received. I would not recommend this place for that reason. On a positive note, the RV Center that would complete the repairs the following day were excellent. They even helped us find a place to stay that night. Our repairs took an entire day which made us miss part of our trip.

Very nice RV Park. Nice location, nice sites, nice laundry, nice owners, nice campers. I especially like the property, two ponds to walk around and enjoy some quiet time. Fantastic to have some open space to and feel “less cooped up”. A one mile walk circling the property. A nice location to be “staying in place” for a while. Will definitely stay again when in the area. Deer Run is one of the nicer RV Parks we have stayed at.

Good for an overnight stay or longer. The pull-thru sites were easy in and out for our big rig. There was no need to disconnect our tow vehicle. It is advisable to call for a reservation prior to your arrival. We called several days in advance to make a reservation. As we were to the park we received a phone call from the park management checking to see if we were still going to come into the park that night. They were booked solid and were still having people calling in for reservations so they wanted to make sure that we were coming. When we arrived our site was the only one that was available and the No Vacancy sign was hung.We appreciated the fact that we were escorted to our site. That is always helpful when you are unfamiliar with a park or campground. The sites are concrete and level with plenty of space between RVs.This Good Sam park deserves its high rating. We would definitely return to this part and we highly recommend it.

Everything was wonderful. The staff, the camp sites, the pond, etc. The restrooms were AMAZING clean and pretty. Our only complaint was the pool and spa. Just dont go for those two amenities. The campground will impress, the facilities will impress and the staff too! Go for those! We would camp again.

We travel in our camper about 3700 miles a year, we stayed here last weekend. This campground is extremely clean and has everything you need. The greatest thing they offered was that I was able to call and pay by phone the day we were arriving, then when we pulled up they came out and we followed them to our site. It was very nice with all this Carona stuff going on, you cant beat this kind of service.

Great place to stop for the night or the weekend! The park was very clean and as advertised with fresh water, wastewater, 30&50amp hookups and a trash receptacle. We pulled a 37 5th wheel with a 2500 series truck right in the pull through spot with no issue. There where a couple of ponds and a pool. Definitely a gem to take advantage of while traveling.

We go to Troy a few times a year and stay in our fifth wheel. Weve tried a few RV parks in the area, but Deer Run is without doubt the best one. The sites have full hookups. Most sites are well separated, level, concrete and pull through. They also have a bath house and lake. The folks working there are always courteous. In fact, we arrived late and someone came out to guide us to our site which is necessary at night. One thing that could use improvement would be street names with signs or more prominent landmarks to help get through the park at night with the map. The roads are good and wide, but some are laid out organically instead of in a predictable grid. The roads and campsite pull throughs are ambiguous as well so locating yourself on the map is tricky. If you get there at night, take some time to familiarize yourself with the map so you have a better chance of finding your site quickly. None of this is an issue if you arrive on time and they show you to your site (which is the norm).

My wife and I had an overnight stay here on 07-23-2019. What a beautiful park. Very well taken care of, level concrete pads, cable tv, bag and bulk Ice at the office, nice gravel roads. Upon our arrival we were met with a well manicured lawn, with beautiful landscaping. The nice lady in the office was such a blessing and as others have said offered popcorn. We did not turn it down, and it was some very good popcorn. We will definitely return here for a longer stay as you are only about 6 hours from our home. Keep up the good work, and we will see you all soon!

I want to thank the owner and the young man working the office on Sunday September 8th. My son had a tournament at Troy. It was 104 degrees. My elderly father who was just miserable with the heat and couldn’t take it any longer. I look up an RV park to plug in our camper for a couple of hours and to allow him to rest. I was prepared to pay the full price just to get him out of the sun They were able accommodate us and restored kindest by allowing us to stay for no charge. very professional and friendly. I recommend this RV park to any and all. Great place to stay for a get away. Thank you for treating a Veteran with respect and kindness.

A Truly Great RV Park, with a Wonderful Staff !!! There are giant pines for lots of shade, a huge pond where people can fish ( catch and release ). Our site was a long, level pull-through, with a brand new power pedestal, 50 Amps, plenty of Water Pressure and a nice, new sewer line. We could not have asked for anything more ( they even had fresh bags of popcorn waiting for us, when we checked in !!!! ). We will be back to the Troy area again, and will always stay at Deer Run RV Park !!!!

An employee cutting grass hit our new r.v. with 3 rocks. He took a picture. We called the office and all they did was file a report. No one ever came to see the damage or apoligize. Very poor response. I would have given a 2 if they would have had a camp store to shop in. The park itself is nice but this experience just killed our stay.

Large park with close to 100 sites. Easy road access into and in the park. Check in was fast and friendly. Even though the park is on Hwy 231, the road noise was minimal. The park is well maintained and very pretty. There is a large catch and release pond as well as another pond. There is a spa on sight, didnt use it but it has good ratings. We were in Site 59, a concrete pull-through with full hook-ups, no issues and 50 amp electric. The sites are angled so you are not looking right into your neighbor and a little wider than normal. Our site was plenty long enough for our 37-foot Class A, tow-dolly and parking the car. There is laundry on site but we did not use it. There are plenty of places to walk the dog and some secluded areas for off lead running. WiFi was good as was our Verizon signal. We stayed December 1, 2017 and paid $37.62 a night with our Good Sam Discount.

Beautiful, even site for our 38 class A. I must mention the water pressure. Best we have ever had. We are full time RVers and have stayed at a lot of rv parks and good water pressure is not usually the case. Lovely, quiet spot. Will definitely come back if in the area again! Excellent facilities, laundry ($1.50, 1.00), community room, pool. Unfortunately, my family got shagged out of the pool about 45 minutes before the posted closing time by an employee who (apparently) wanted to lock up and go home early.Came back again. Not a level site... Had to unhook to set up for the night. My opinion of this place is slipping. Still, its clean and well maintained. Most of the sites look more level and wider than what we were assigned.
