Nice mobile home community with a pool on the property for renters to use that is manned withan employee as to prevent non renters from accessing tenants areas. This place also gives you access to a gym and the mailboxes are easily located at front office with lock and key for added security of your postal needs

They dont enforce the rules that much. People park on the sides of the roads so much and sometimes right in front of the car ports. No one uses the pool because if you want to have people over they have to pay $5 per person per day. Since no one uses it, that just means its an amenity that is being wasted. Which is a shame because it looks clean and well kept. But Im not paying extra for something that my lot fees should already be covering. Especially seeing that lot rent is $400 per month which is twice as much as any of the other trailer parks. They need to grind down the speed bumps or something. The people that speed through the park all drive big trucks and hit them at whatever speed they want but even if Im crawling over the bumps I scrape the bottom.Other than that the place has been pretty good. Security is always driving around and the cameras are a nice touch. Theyve even begun catching the stray cats all over the place which is more than anyone in the city is trying to do.

Jim and Judy Golden, the owners, are some of the most disrespectful and arrogant people that Ive ever had the displeasure of associating with. They will say whatever it takes to get you to sign a lease but the second you do they do not make good on any of their promises. The property is in horrible repair; garbage is strewn everywhere, glass in the roads, and stray animals everywhere you look. Its cheap for a reason. When you move out they change you $200+ dollars of your deposit if there is a lightbulb out. They do not care if damage is documented upon move in, YOU WILL STILL BE CHARGED!If someone suggests living in this trash heap, run. Run as fast and as far as you can.You have been warned.

I lived there for three years and honestly you better bet is to move in to a house or apartment! When I requested to have Direct Tv due to I was still under contract I got hasseled about it. Two years in a row the guy who cuts the grass hit my dish and never once said anything to me. I woke up both times and when I turned on the television signal was lost. No apologies or compensation was made! And speaking of cutting the grass...they wait until its about knee high before cutting the grass and they do a crappy job of cutting it. They also sliced two garden hoses that were connected to the outside faucet. Has to be the worst place I have ever called home! Also the Internet they provide and charge you for is garbage. You might as well have dial up! They also fail to mention to you that you arent allowed to have any outside provider come and install your own internet that will fit your needs.

We signed an eight months lease with hunters mountain back in Oct of 2013. Before we signed the lease we verbally verified what would happen if we broke lease early and were told by two different employees that we would only lose our deposit money, no other fees. We were ready to move out one month before our lease was up and I wrote a letter asking to be released from the lease, but was never contacted. When I spoke to the owner of Hunters Mountain, Jim Golden on the phone, he told me that we would owe the full months rent plus deposit and he was not responsible for what his employees told the tenants, all that mattered was the paper lease I signed. He also refused to let me speak with the owners of the trailer we were renting, or notify them of my request. He was very rude on the phone, and did not want to hear any of my concerns, just continued to interrupt me with rude comments and tried to get me to talk to his office manager instead of him. Very unprofessional on the phone. My second complaint with Hunters Mountain was the bug infestation we had in the trailer. I complained 6 times about the bugs and was assured they were being spayed. I spoke to Landon the office manager 3 times, Jim Golden 2 times, and Ms Golden once (she was also very rude and unprofessional- saying what do you expect for the prices we have) We continued to have bugs everyday, seeing as many as 50 in one day. They were in the microwave, coffee maker, toaster (which had to be replaced when we moved). We finally had a man from Meeks pest control come and bug bomb the trailer, but the bugs continued. That is one of the reasons we had to move. I have two young children and the place was not healthy for them with the bugs. It was inhabitable, and we moved, but Hunters Mountain still refused to let us out of the lease, or clear the bugs. Im very disappointed in our whole experience with Mr and Mrs Golden and Hunters Mountain.

They are very friendly when you are getting the lease ready, but after that... they dont care. From the day we moved in, we had holes in walls and windows, doors that wouldnt lock, rusted ac vents, loose boards on the porch, constant swampy, mushy ground around the driveway (year-round), etc... The heater and a/c went on the fritz in November of 2012 (it is now May 2013) and it was never replaced. There were several days in January when it would only blow cold air. Needless to say, I missed two weeks of school due to pneumonia. I happened to be there when the air-condition people came to try to fix it, but he was fuming mad with the people because they wouldnt replace it since it was in such awful shape (so we had to leave the air on all of the time so that it could stay regulated - which made our utilities bill go up nearly 50%). The dishwasher has also been broke since about October, and they never even came to look at it. They will also ticket you if you park in the grass (I say grass because most of it is comprised of dirt and weeds). They also tried to cheat us out of several hundred dollars. When we signed the lease in May, we were told we could be in within a couple week because they were replacing the floors. However, after paying rent for two months and it not being livable, we werent able to move in until mid-August. They then tried to make us pay $900 in utilities for the summer months (in which we werent even there). Im sure that Im forgetting something. I sure am glad to be leaving. If you want a decent mobile home park, look at Forest Acres on Elba HWY. Its less expensive, more roomy, shadier (lots of trees), and more freedom and choice.

Owner is EXTREMLEY disrespectful and rude. Was promised that certain aspects of the trailer would be repaired before I moved in (lease was signed months in advance). Almost a year later damages are still not fixed. Entire property is covered in loose trash and stray cats. Carpets and floors were disgusting when I moved in. Water flow has now damaged the driveway coming in and out of the park and Im sure the owner has no intentions of fixing it. Wouldnt recommend this place to anyone including college students trying to save money. I would NEVER give the arrogant JIM GOLDEN another penny of my money!!!
