Super fast service. Youre going to pay for it though. It was three times what I would have paid at the Gable House Bowl.

Affordable & fun! Lots of lanes, the bowling alley is very clean and pretty well kept for its age! There is a great food selection, the fries were great and the kids loved the grilled cheeses. There is a bar, ice cold beers! Small arcade in the center. Love this place early on the weekends!

Fun atmosphere that always reminds me of my childhood! The smell the vibe & everything is exactly the same as it was when I was a kid. Always been a fun place to bowl and/or have birthday parties. Just celebrated a memorial there for someone special and they never fail to help create a great time. Overall Love this place but I dont know if it just stems from childhood memories but either way if you want to bowl this place is definitely an easy going no pressure bowling alley to enjoy with family and friends

This place deserves more than 5 stars! I have been coming here since I was 5 years old and it gets better with every year. Now that Im of drinking age, I can enjoy the delicious mixed drinks and drink specials. Wingsday aka Wednesday night, is my current favorite night there. They have .50 Boneless Wings and .75 Bone-In Wings. BBQ, Lemon, Lousiana Style, and Buffalo. They have Taco Tuesday, Karaoke on Thursdays, and live Music on Fridays. Come and have fun!

Sunday mornings are a good deal. Arcade is good sized for kids. The alley is well maintained with a newer scoring system that makes it more interactive and fun. Easy to put the bumpers on for specific bowlers! Staff is also always friendly, and the bar has some karaokee going on sometimes. Best spot for bowling in the South Bay!

Very cool place. Its an old fashioned bowling alley. Tons of bowling balls to choose from. Shoes are clean. Computerized scoring does everything for you. All you have to do is bowl. Little bit pricey but then what isnt these days.

Great food specials and the lanes are taken care of. Always a fun place to go! Security is posted at the door so no concerns there.

A nice good size bowling alley. Has a nice little bar inside with good food and drinks. We have a 5 year old and he really enjoys bowling here. We usually Bowl 2 games. In-between those games will head up to the arcade and play some of those games for a few minutes. It was pretty quiet an empty today around 3 p.m.

Had a last minute small birthday party! It was sensational. My party host was a young lady named Taliya(i think thats how you spell it). She was sooo patient with the kids, so attentive, and made sure that everything i needed was handled. I never had to ask a question. When I thought it she was already letting me know what was next. She was such a lovely young lady. Made my first bowling party experience a great choice. Thank you!!!! Gable House you have a jewel on your hands with her.

Please clean the bathrooms!. No one wants to navigate through nasty. I bowl here once a year with family and EVERYTIME I go the bathroom is filthy. Suggesting a new venue for next year.

This is Truly one of my favorite Hangouts on Friday or Saturday night, the atmosphere is chill for group gatherings and the refreshments will do the job, until you leave at a fair price. That being said it can get crazy if too hype in the place at night on the weekends. Use your discretion. The staff is awesome and the locals tend to pretty cool.

The security in the front is very rude and discriminative. I was there for my sisters birthday party and got there before her so I sat in the parking lot and waited. Our other friend got a ride from another friend and they pulled up next to my car, the people who dropped her off were NOT staying or going in. They were drinking outside their own car and no one was smoking. He asked him to put the drink away and leave and he did just that. However me and my friend who only got dropped off weren’t allowed inside after that. Why? Because according to the security we were all drinking and smoking.. where? Because we didn’t do anything. And he said since y’all together y’all gotta leave I stated I drove my own car, he didn’t care and when asked for a manager they told us none was available and they gave us a bullshit card to call that didn’t work, because we kept being put on hold. I recommend you don’t go here because security guards are rude and don’t care. Neither does the person who owns the place because there was no manager to talk to about the situation. I’m convinced no one could care less.

The staff is very nice here and i feel safer than Ive ever felt here today than Ive ever felt and Ive been coming here for over 15 years! Great music on fridays. 1st and 3rd fridays wylde bunch performs live! fun place for sure.

I come here every Friday morning for an El Camino College bowling class (awesome btw), and I didnt think much of the place, just another bowling alley, BUT today WOW! Lets just say that Aaron at the concession stand is an awesome human being. I had a small problem and he hooked it up. Thanks Aaron! This world needs more people like you. See you next week. :)

Gable is my favorite place to bowl. It was fine today but my bowling was way off.

The bowling alley and staff were great!! The computer screens on each lane were very up-to-date with many controls. Just based on these 2 factors it wouldve been 5 stars... but...The alcoholic drinks are aweful if you dont specify what type of liquor. Whatever they use as the house liquor is very cheap and tastes like rubbing alcohol. We had to send a few drinks back to replace. The flatbread pizza was okay but my friend said the burger was the worst hes ever eaten..

They were talking away and not paying attention to me waiting 30 minutes to receive my food and I was on my lunch for work. The food is over price and nasty. Just horrible. NEVER going there again. Waste of my time and money!!!

Its a bowling alley with a full bar... what else do.you want? Yes, its 60+ years old and it shows.. the electronic control is easy to use.. Ill be back for sure.. wish it was upgraded a bit, but it makes money without the upgrades..

Have not been bowling in 25 years. It was fun for the four of us. Wanted to play a video game but the machine does not take quarters, takes cards. Wow I need to catch up.Got our gutter balls on and knocked some pins into next week. Felt good

Man it has been more than 4 years since I was last here and I have to say that it was a great nostalgic moment. They upgraded there scoring system along with their lanes and chairs. It is a great place to bring the family if you mostly want to bowl long and cheap. They was even connect to El Camino College Bowling class, which is a great way to properly learn bowling. It doesnt have much of an arcade but too if you are going to bowl, then arcades arent fully needed. A must visit if in the South Bay area.

Completely DISCRIMINATED from the door. Staff followed my party to the Lanes and Hovered over us the Entire time. We were questioned about CUPS we received from the snack Bar! And Later Asked to Leave Accused of Smelling like Marijuana.....As we left I heard the Waitress say to security, you forgot 2 MORE!! Have always loved bowling here, since a young and able-bodied child(I even had my 9th & 15th birthday parties here and bowled on a league with a cple girl friends from school @ the age of 13-had sum really gr8 times and made some excellent memories here) to being able to bowl @ 39-yrs-old now, being disabled and in a wheelchair since the age of 18. They have a ramp for us, gimps as well as a little elevator and/or a wooden ramp, if u need and can maneuver ur chair pretty well, up and down the wooden ramp.

I havent been to this place in decades. It looks like its been that long since its been decorated?I understand its a bowling alley and all, but my teenage daughters had to climb over a passed out girl in the bathroom that was covered in her own vomit. I guess they pour a strong drink here? Either that or they over serve. Either way, not a great thing.I couldnt figure out why there were a bunch of security guards outside and then I discovered there was a triple homicide shooting there not too long ago? I guess Torrance isnt what it used to be?

Clean place, they have a variety of things to do (mini arcade, bowling. laser tag), they have Pizza Hut inside and I believe they also have other snacks you can buy. They offer you free socks with your bowling shoes if you need them (and of course you can keep them after). Great service, very fun, family friendly. The prices are great too

Reasonably priced with coupons, friendly staff, and awesome 80s playlist (not the songs played over and over on throwback stations). I would suggest updating their menu on Google Maps. The prices are a little higher and some items are no longer available.

Gable House.... Used to be the spot. It was a place filled with fun and excitement as a kid. But as a young adult (21-35) its a very different experience. The nostalgia factor only lasts so long before you realize, the place has not kept up with the times.Like not even a little bit.Unless the management gets on top of updating and even TRYING to change their face, especially in light of recent events, this place will fall apart, and I dont wanna see that happen.When you walk into the building, after being scanned by security (its sad that they have to be there now but thankful they are there) you walk into a drab, although clean space, that seems to be a snapshot from the mid 90s post-tack, pre dotcom bubble era.Needless to say. Its burnt. Its an uncomfortable vibe. The management should suspend ops and reopen after reviatalizing the space with remodeling, upgrading facilities, and changing the way security and staff work with guests.It still has the potential. Yall just gotta change face.

The staff is very friendly and the lanes there are perfect for my type of hook bowling and has many fun leagues for junior bowlers, adults, and senior players. All of the place is well organized and a friendly atmosphere.

Fun place; about typical for a bowling alley. They obviously offer bowling, and they have a small arcade with video games and kids skill games. The alleys are nice and clean, and offer modern video screens and electronic score keeping. I dont really know how expensive bowling usually is, but this seemed a touch pricey to me. However, it was packed, so I am guessing the price is actually average. This was a fun way to kill an evening with the family.

Quite and amazing place. A bowling house for group of friends that would get along. Very accessible from place since its right down at hawthorne. Theres even a laser tag area in the compound. Also, at night in can be really busy so there will be a wait time. Quite a lot of parking spaces so definitely would not be a problem.

Great place to bring a group of friends and spend the night bowling and having lots of fun. And for the adults, theres a bar inside for any thirsty people. Plus a snack bar offering pizza, nachos, hot dogs, and deep fried goodness. Cant go wrong here

So I came to what I thought was a lovely establishment tonight and during my first game of bowling our lane shut down twice. So my friends and I decide to take a break and get a beer, and the “bartender” at Jacks Place denied our ids even though we are all 21+ which pissed us all off. We decide to go back and finish our game of second game of bowling and the machine breaks down again and at that point we were done and we got our money refunded and we left.Thanks for a great time though, what a lovely establishment :-)

Friend went to the bathroom and our game got canceled while she was peeing. We were kinda mad but decided to go play laser tag across the lot so we just were like eh whatever. Thought that was lame though. The server with the reddish hair and glasses is super accommodating and nice.

I go during Nightwalker hours after 10p so I cannot comment on Gable House during day hours. Great lanes and good staff with security present when I go during those late nights.. Equipment is well managed and from my own personal experiences, rarely breaks down. Great place if you want to bowl on late nights for a very fair price.

We had the best birthday party ever here! Lalo and Chad were the best employee/ laser trainers one could hope for! We had 20 teenagers spend 7 hours locked in for laser tag and they had a blast!!! Love the Quarter-mania Mondays at laser storm! its a great deal, lines get a little long and its quite a wait but its worth the prices! definitely will have more family game nights there!

**MONDAYS ARE THE BEST BARGAIN** DAYSGreat place for any type of outing alone or with family (kids included). *My only suggestion is just need a bigger restroom for the woman no space to have mirror time and some stalls are too small that you have to stand either straddled like s cowboy over the toilet or on either side of the toilet just to close the bathroom stall door.) --->My only complaintis that the arcade games cost a to much money to play so its hard for the kids to win Big-Prizes that they have to offer for their tickets;also shine games are a ticket rip off too

Karaoke and bowling was solid but service of food throughout the place was very substandard. If you didnt have to chase a waitress down to correct your order, you at least had to go up to the bar to ask for silverware and napkins. The pizza hut was solid but the non pizza hut affiliated food was barely edible. So basically everything not related to food was great food/service related to food was terrible and only things holding back from 5 stars.

They need a better AC system. Other then that, it was a great bowling alley to enjoy a kids birthday party

Recently renovated and open all week, a great place to bring the kids for some fun and even a bar for the adults to enjoy. Quarter mania, tuesday night when snacks and drinks are 25¢, is great but very crowded. Overall fun place.

Love this place. The little arcade area is nice. They have laser tag and bowling. Great place for family or friends getting together. There is a bar inside for those that like to drink. They have a small pizza Hut stand for food.
