This a is very good park in the nice neighborhood, also i have one of small rented Garden there which i really like. Spending time in my garden is one of my best time in the day and i really enjoy planting my own organic vegetable.It has playground, which i think it needs more equipment for game and play for kids

Saw this bunny outside the community garden. He disappeared behind the brush, then reappeared on three other side of the fence, probably to the dismay of the gardeners.In the morning you can just sit on a rock and meet all the dogs walking by (and their owners too).

It is a nice park but lots of teenagers hang out and smoke there

This is a great, very private park. It is in the middle of a neighborhood, so it is quiet. There is an impressive amount of space for all kinds of activities, for people of any age.

It is a large well maintained park. It has beautiful trees and a garden where people grow vegetables. I feel safe there.

Dogs love going for their morning walks. Hope the basketball rims get put up soon...

This is a lovely park with a number of trees and just big enough to spend some time alone with family or to take a walk. Plenty of parking at roadside. Nice park for a picnic.

This is a very good park. My great grandson has been on teams such as volleyball, football, and soccer. Currently he is on a basketball team. I dont know how much it costs but I think its a good way to socialize and learn about the sports.

They removed basketball hoops...not cool!

Park is quiet, calming, and specially good for practicing basketball because they have double rims! You have to accurately shoot in the middle of the basket and not rely on the rim bounces to make your shots. Of course the park is within a neighborhood and its perfect if you just want to hang out during your lunch in work.

Always clean! A well loved park by its community. I bring the dog here on walks when we visit family. Lots of friendly neighbors with dogs that come here. Public bathrooms, playground, walking paths, open fields, basket ball courts, and community gardens to admire.

This is a very nice park to play basketball, walk, or take the kids to the playground which is for small kids and at times enjoy the small private planes fly over you from Torrance Airport and the basketball courts have lights that you can turn on at night to play nice feature and restrooms on site.

Empty and quiet

Walking distance if youre around. Park is quite big if you want to get in some exercise. There are some tables around, but only in one area, so it can only be used for one big group at a time. Playground was recently reopened after some partial remodel. Good place for everyone to go to, whether itd be to play with the dog, ride a bike, or simply relax under the trees. Just be warned- on weekends there are almost always birthdays going on in the sitting area, and during baseball season, parking is a bit hard to find due to the Riviera Little League baseball next door.

Bad gardening around the rentable rentable garden area

Has a playground (but its not open now) and wife open spaces to kick a ball or play catch. There are also trees that provide shade on the grass if you are looking to picnic.

I love by Miley shoes at Skechers they last for a long time and I can put them in the washer and wash them and let them dry by themselves I would recommend Skechers

Mature trees provide shade around the perimeters of the play areas, with plenty of benches. Not having to worry about little ones throwing (or trying to eat) sand or wood chips makes this a fantastic playground for toddlers and little kids. Plenty of street parking on the North, East, and West sides of the park.

I love waking around here in the evening. Fresh breeze and green grass, perfect for a sunset walk. Lots of people walk their dogs. There is a kids playground too.

Very nice family-friendly park that was close to our sons place in Torrance. Great place to take a walk after dusk, when it is much quieter. Good to watch boys and girls practising basketball and playing friendly games. Swings and slides for kids with rubber mat spread around to avoid any injuries to kids. Fixed benches and tables to sit and chit-chat with a packet of chips or peanuts. Well lit during late evenings and hence feels secure to walk around. Nice green trees, creepers and lovely flowers too to pep up your mood. Lot of space to play Frisbee, to walk the dogs. Nice community garden where a variety of vegetables are grown and well protected by fencing. Lot of cycling activity by kids and youngsters.For the elderly, it is a heaven to walk around without traffic snarls, in the quiet neighborhood.

This park is really visible and open. Lots of area to play sports or picnic. Playground area is modern and safe. Popular place for party’s. The city allows jumpers with permit and there’s lots of tables to use. Quiet neighborhood so less traffic and many people walk dogs around the park. Restroom on site as well as 2 lighted basketball courts, lots of shady trees. Right next door is a community garden and a wonderful little league.

Itd be great if they had a work out area like the other parks.

Nice park. Clean, safe. Lots of shade. Plenty of parking. Coyotes have been spotted in the area so keep pets close.

Clean, small park embedded in a grassy field. Has one big playset that features a rock climbing board, a bridge, 2 slides, and some decent in-built activity sections. Perfect for toddlers and young children. There is also a swing set, but only two swings. Half of the set had no swings hanging when we went.Overall, a decent place to pass an hour or so.

My kids love this park. Nice kids visit. But its a bit close to a busy street. Would be way better if there was a gate around the perimeter of the playground.

3 1/2 good park one of few with trees that the kids can climb. There is space to run. A huge garden to look at if nothing else. Rocks to walk on. But..... like most parks the playground is relly only enjoyed by the young kids :(

Fun park, nice area for kids to play and huge grassy area to hang out. The path around and through the park is well kept and its nicely lit at night. There is a basketball court, and a baseball field.

Love this park, it is in a nice quiet neighborhood. The basketball courts are well kept as are all the grounds. If you do not mind waiting you can get a plot in the community garden. Plus they have free mulch there.

This park has a lot of open space. The water fountain and restrooms were in working order. The playground equipment was fun for my kids for about an hour. There are picnic tables and benches and some shade trees.

Great local park! Not a ton of playground equipment, but a large field that always has perfect wind for kite flying. There are basketball courts and a large baseball field that draws crowds regularly. There is also a community garden, but I am not sure how to apply to use it. Its a good spot, and is very popular with the locals.

Small, but nice. Good place to bring little kids to play on the toys. Lots of running room for bigger kids.

Great playground if you are trying to avoid sand in your kids shoes. Playground equipment surrounded by that soft cushion material that didnt exist when we were kids. Large open grass fields to run around and the walking path takes you around the park and Community Garden. Street parking is easy; the lot is packed during Little League season.

A really high quality park. Best in the area. Never too crowded

Park is ok. Its big. It does have some maintenance needed. The play structure is always being fixed and it takes a few weeks to do it. The swings are rusted but the grass is neatly cut. They are bees in one specific tree. They get rid of them but they show up a few weeks later.

The issue I have is not with the Park itself but with people who visit the park and let their dogs off leash. There are numerous signs posted indicating you need to keep your pet on a leash but many people dont pay attention and let their dogs run loose.

The play ground is rather for todlers. It has soccer field for big kids and good place for learn to ride bicycle. The toilet was clogged and dirty water all over the floor the other day. Need better maintenance.

This is a great park, I go running here every morning, there are always great people around too. This park never really gets crowded unless you come when someone is having a party, then it gets packed. There are great facilities available for community members.

Riveria Little League fields

Pretty nice park in Southwood Riviera, Torrance. Playground structure for toddlers (2-5 yrs), rubber ground, 2 swings, 2 baby swings surrounded by 5 benches. The park has 2 big grass areas with lots of trees plus a basketball court and several picknick areas. Its very popular with people walking their dogs, strolling or doing exercise. If there was a six star option I would give 6 Stars!!!
