Nice park to use walking path, cool off at splash park during warm days, and get exercise on the metal playground. Plenty of parking. Public restroom.

This Park is clean, it has a fitness center outside which is brand-new, theres a large paved walking area with a small pond, bathrooms are open, softball fields, an ice cream truck rolls through every hour or so, and kids love it here! Great for all age groups. Theres no swings just fyi.

My boys love this park. Great place for them to play on the playground or throw a ball around on one of the fields. Sometimes it gets very crowded though.

Park is not what it used to be... I have not been there in a couple years and found it unkempt and not worth the visit..Trash is everywhere, grass is uncut, picnic tables are impossible to reach but on a positive note there is stream access and a good place to walk the dog... The park unfortunately seems to be abandoned... There are soccer pitches and a playground. The township should be embarrassed at the condition of this site...

Its a nice park but needs some TLC. Mens bathroom seems to always be locked.

Nice, many grounds for different sports, excellent playground for kids all ages.

Was at the warming center. The place was amazing along with the food and the people.I want to thank Paul H. And Kim P. for going above and beyond to help me.They truly care about the welfare of their clients.I would highly recommend if you are in need of help getting in touch with them or there association.

My favorite park in the city. It’s always peaceful and tons of space for activities.

Always a local favorite of ours, just beautiful. With all the rain lately, the forest was lush and green, and the river high and moving fast. I think we were the only ones in the park.Be mindful of the ticks though.

Big soccer fields and 2 different playgrounds for kids

If you are homeless and dont have a place to stay, its will be adequate for your needs the people that work there seems nice and caring they will take of any homeless person in need of shelter.

It was nice. Fun for kids & adults lol. But on a hot day its not fun. Need water fountains, or umbrellas/awning? Just bad timing for kids if they want to play outside on hot days but cant, some kids just dont want to be inside. Overall a crafty and clean park area.

Lots and lots of small ticks! They should put a sign for those deer ticks,they carry lime disease,they are dangerous.We walked our dog on those paths.When we got back, the ticks were all over our bodies. Otherwise, a relaxing stroll

Clean and safe family place. I bring my daughter here to exhaust her before dinner and then shes out for the rest of the night. Shes 18 months. Great place for family party too.

We love this park for the playground. Its clean, and theres lots to do for ages 2-8. There are bathrooms and also a seating area with picnic tables for eating. The newer playground is Western themed and instead of mulch, its a safe rubber surface. Another bonus to this playground.

Over run with Hasidic that stare you and give you the stink eye for bringing your non Hasidic children there to play. Everytime our kids went to a slide or swings they would all scurry away and the parents would give you and your children dirty looks and whusper to eachother. Will never ever go back there.

Great soccer fields here. Not as many as some other towns like Holmdel, but immaculately maintained and beautiful on a nice day. Plenty of parking immediately adjacent to the soccer fields. The Toms River Football Club has great facilities here, too.

Great place, it’s a very calm place and it has some very nice woods, I took my dog there and he started swimming in the water, very good place, definitely recommend anyone to go there, there is a park and many tables to go BBQ’ing

Nice big playground, their is nice grounds over there, And the hiking path is something magnificent.

We were at our granddaughter s soccer game which they won. The field grass was too high other than that it was a nice park.

Park grounds kept well & area patrolled. Reason for 3 stars is the highly dangerous intersection of Riverwood Dr & Whitesville Rd, a 4-way intersection with stop signs to cross Whitesville. The traffic on that road can be relentless most of the time & Ive seen multiple nasty crashes there! Toms River Twp needs to step it up & install a proper traffic light at this location!

The trails

I went here for the trails and wasnt disappointed. However, people were right, it was hard finding the right path. Near the middle of the trail you have two paths, the one going forward has a tent sign while the other path facing left has no sign. I went towards the tent sign, following other people and people behind us followed too.All of us wound up losing the path because it was the wrong way. So if its your first time going through here, make a left turn when you reach these two paths. Also dont forget to bring bug spray, found 4 ticks on me at the end of the walk.

Lots of open, grassy fields. The area of swing sets is okay, but crowded. New restrooms are a plus.

Soccer fields, playground, trails. Playground has a forgiving and bouncy floor, big jungle gym, smaller jungle gym, and swings. Seats with shade and benches all around. Portajons available.
