We did camping at this place. It was an amazing experience. The place is quiet and peaceful. You can explore nearby hiking places and lake. It is worth staying for a night.

Loved this park! Not a lot of people. Trails were nice and shady although found lots of trash in areas we hiked. We ended up taking 5 trashbags of trash and an old gas can up and out of trails to help clean it up! We will be going back to this gem!

Quiet and relaxing time here at Taylor Park! Restrooms near higher numbered sites are quite outdated but very spacious sites. Lower numbered restroom is much cleaner but sites are close together.

Nice clean campgrounds with access to both parks. Expect to pay half the fees of State Park admissions at ACOE camp grounds. The only down side was the bathrooms were in desperate need of remodeling and upkeep.

Relatively hidden gem for camping & fishing -- dont go there though as Id like spots to be available when we go.

Spent the weekend of August 7th 2020 there . The day we arrived on the 7th thru mid afternoon on the 8th was a quiet peaceful time. Around 2:30 some people started showing up at the site next to us (site 21) and was loud with foul language and dirty rap music .down by the water along the shore line was no different when they wer around. The next morning packing up to leave we witnessed one of the 5 vehicles parked at the site at the time got in a champagne colored suv and drove thru the grass knocking over a wooden pole and breaking off the water faucet and just drove away. The rest of the group got in their vehicles and drove away all leaving the broke pipe spraying water up in the air. We had to go contact park host about it because they didnt even stop to tell anyone. I will be going back again, just hope not at the same time as this disrespectful group. Hope whos ever name was on the site is charged for the damages they caused .all the rest of the park campers seemed to be nice well respected folks and park host wer very nice and friendly .

Nice lake side park with beautiful wildflowers in spring, water & electric connections only with dump site in park. Substantial shelters to cover the picnic tables at every campsite. Small downside is the very limited lakeviews from campsites. Marina available at park with 2 bathhouses & playground as well. If this park is full, there are 3 other similar parks around the lake

Isolated, beautiful, and peaceful. This is way out in the middle of nowhere. This is a boat lake full of crappie. Get your minnows at the gas station on the way in. That is the last vestige of civilization on the way. We saw an awesome fox by the picnic area. Every table is covered with a bbq pit. However, no lake access at Taylor park unless by boat. Walking trail is awesome, it is more of a primitive hiking trail with a surprise (no Im not gonna ruin it by telling you). I did not find the trail museum though. Bathrooms are fantastic for camp bathrooms. Very clean and well kept. If you are looking for swimming and not so primitive areas, go to Wilson H Fox right up the road.

Great park. Usually easy to get a spot at the last moment.

Nice trails, beautiful primitive campsite, at the end of one trail. Would like it better If there were a few places to sit along the way, to enjoy nature. There is an outhouse at the primitive campsite, but it does not appear to be maintained. Also a lot of trash on some parts of the trail. Bring a lot of water, there is no place to refill on the way, unless you filter the lake water.

Two very bad experiences so far. Weve hiked that park and its lovely, convenient to where we live.First time, we were told there are no trails to walk on from the attendant with just an intense look of disdain. My wife explained that she knows where the trails are located at. After a long awkward pause, we were finally told to pay the entrance fee, we paid with our card.Today, the issue was from a gentlemen, who was equally as rude but succeed in turning us away. He discouraged us by saying things like dogs arent allowed in the water. But its when he saw us taking out our card to pay he quickly said, we dont take card, and shut his window. My wife knocked on window and explained she has paid with card numerous times. Without looking at us, he said not allowed.I think its of note that were Mexican, because of the discriminatory nature of these attendants.Id like to note that we will be continue to go to this public park and will take legal action if these matters worsen.

After several phone calls, no one can give me any details on the actual camp site. All calls go through call centers. I guess well stay somewhere else.

The park is nice. The sites have level, concrete driveways but the bathrooms arent in the best shape.

Run down and old. There is nothing here but a has been facility. The restrooms were so disgusting we couldnt even use them. There were no gate attendants or park employees to be found. Its only good for taking a boat on the water. If youre into ghost towns and isolation from any living thing, this would be your park.

Taylor Park on Granger Lake has great access to the trails and the lake. There is a playground for the kids and plenty of space for outdoor games and activities. Highly recommend it. It is also only about 5-10 minutes from Circleville Store that has a ton of history, live music, and Bull Riding on Thursdays.

This park is pretty but when we reserved an entire three nights stay, nowhere on the website did it say there was not a swimming spot. Also, snakes were very bad when we were there. Finding a fishing spot on land is difficult. Theres limited areas to actually fish. The restrooms were filled with the largest spiders Ive ever seen but I suppose thats just park restrooms lol. We left after one night and our refund was only 13 dollars of what our entire stay was. Not a happy camper. No pun intended.
