Was just completely renovated working the last year. Really nice stuff was added. High quality games made out of concrete. Its sad that much of it has already been destroyed. I wish more people cared about keeping things nice and not littering. I know there are many people that try to keep it up as well though. Overall its still a nice place.

I love this place.. If you come up on Van Born side. You will probably think what I thought. Where is the thing I seen in the pic. You have to walk to the back. There is also a basketball court that I forgot to take a picture of. If you want to have a party here you can. It will be $300 for 2 hours..The first 10 kids are free. They will give you the whole patio with umbrella.But here is what I will do. I would just have the park at the park part. Then pay the $2-5 for the kids and there for I would have more time. My kids didnt want to go.

The park is now beautiful if ppl would clean up after themselves it would be even more stars and better for everyone

The pool seems very clean and the environment is nice. Its nice it doesnt go to deep so kids are safe. However I was annoyed that despite their sign on the front door they still charge for anyone that enters the pool area. I was there with my kids for them to swim and they said despite the sign their new rule is everyone must pay even if just there with minors to let them swim. It is also the same price even if they are about to close. So warning on that. They close at 7 and told everyone to be out of the pool at 6:45. No matter the time you arrive you will have to pay the full days access fee.

Very nice park facilities and a few pavilions for gatherings.. During summer theres an outdoor pool and splash pad for lil ones as well as basketball courts and a trail for walking. Clean and people there seem to be very friendly

Nice little park for the kids. Equipment is fairly new and looked clean. Only issue is garbage on the ground.

Very nice park worth the trip Id youve got young ones that need a break. I was amazed that the pool was open! Swing sets, climbing stations, basketball, and just about anything else you can dream up.

Was a nice place to take the kids. They had stuff for all ages to do. Deep water for the older kids and adults and then a shallow area for the younger kids and those that dont want to go in the deep area

It was a guite day, The park had garbage though out the park. Bees all over the place where you can eat at. Swings is way too high for little kids to get on. Wasnt impressed what so ever. Went to another park.

It was a nice park. But north play ground had Hornets nest 2 of my kids got bitten 3xs

Dirty, profanity and phallic images all over. Trash is everywhere and there are a lack of trash cans.

Nice park with walking track, basketball court, and pool. Dogs are allowed too.

Omg i had sooo much fun

I didnt even know this place existed until today. My church had a picnic here and we got to use the pool for a couple dollars per person. It wasnt too crowded for a Saturday but then again most people are probably like and dont know its here. Definitely coming back!

This park is fantastic! With trails, park and a pond. Its a great place for the whole family.

People should know its a lovely park my grandchildren love going there I enjoy it!!

Neighborhood landmark! Park,pool, basketball,2 sides for partys or just cook out,safe everyone knows everyone type of place right in the middle of the neighborhood so very convenient for residents with children, they keep it cut and trimmed and clean. Go there every day in the summer with the family.

Yesterday 6/19/19, we went to the pool and park on a day that was not really crowded. The poor is okay it has a zero entry for babies and toddlers. It also has steps to walk into the pool and it goes to about 5 feet deep.The staff are all young teens to early 20s but they seem nice. There are always at least 2 life guards on duty.The park itself has okay playacapes to play in but some of the playscapes are falling apart, but they are building a brand new one closer to Van Born, but it is a ways away from the pool area. The park has two or three covered shelter areas if you plan to have a party there. Which you have to reserve through the city of Taylor first.The not so great things about the pool is there arent many chairs and they do not have lounge chairs.They do not have any shade areas other than then the shelters, bit those are out of the pool area.They do not have a blow up machine for inflatables.The locker rooms have small lockers but they do not have actual holes for locks to put your stuff into the lockers, so its just best to either leave it in your car or bring it with you to the pool area, also there is close parking for your car.The bathrooms are always nasty they have about seven stalls, one being for people with disabilities and that one is always the worst of them all.They do have showers I believe there are four total, but I wish that they would make them last a little longer then the 30 seconds from when you push the button in.And I wish that they would change it from being open showers to being private showers, that way people can also change in the shower and wouldnt have to use the disabled bathroom.I know sometimes they cant help with the things that are in the pool when people are in the pool but it would be nice if they could actually get the stuff that is in the pool before or after it closes or opens out of the pool.While we were in the pool we saw bugs, hair ties, hair, rocks, sand, and not to mention there was big clumps of whatever they pulled from off the side of the edge of the pool just sitting on the edge of the pool that was so gross.We paid as Taylor residence even though they didnt ask us were we Taylor residence, 12 and up is $4 and 11 to 2 years is $3 and I believe anything under 2 years is free. So yesterday 6 1919 I paid $12 to even to get access to the pool they also give us wristbands if we need to leave and we can return. So the $12 is for the whole day.The shelter near the basketball court is in bad shape. There is graffiti all over the inside of the shelter roof. The beams of the shelter are exposed therefore birds have a place to sit and poop over everything.The grass needs to be cut more often.Also it would be great if they had a concession stand, maybe on the outside of the pool.If you read my whole review and feel as though it is helpful to you please leave a thumbs-up thank you for reading.

Nice canopys for small events. Nice pool area plenty of seating around the pool.

Really nice pool, clean and pretty big. Cool lil splash pad for kids too. Only $4 for Taylor residents and $2 for kids, cant beat it. Gets packed fast so we didnt get a chair but had fun!!

We love this pool and its so nice and clean. The water isnt over chlorinated and the pool isnt slimy.

The park is nice, but the city doesnt maintain it well. There are always big groups of teenagers cursing loudly and smoking under the pavilions and on the playground structure. Racist and sexually vulgar graffiti doesnt get covered or removed.There is a pool and splash pad for the kids... Admission fees are required (lots of municipalities offer these for free). Wouldnt mind paying admission, but its not even a really nice pool

Pool is nice, but rafts are allowed and people are jerks. Got clobbered a couple times by a raft and am still hurting. Lifeguards are oblivious.
