I attended an out door, mask required, social distancing funeral at the Taylor Conservatory and Botanical gardens on September 4th, 2020. It was lovely, beautiful and peaceful. The petting zoo was also uplifting. The staff was as wonderful as the surroundings.

My friends and I attended a fundraiser at the Conservatory Thursday evening. The event was perfect, and the gardens were awesome. We belong to a local garden club, and we were very impressed.

Just what Taylor needed! Nice small botanical garden, mentally transports you away from the downriver area. It was very well maintained when I went in mid-June. Theres a few different paths to walk around and lot of beautiful color to take in. If youve been to any of the big botanical gardens in NYC or elsewhere, dont expect the size of those, but this is a great spot to come and take in some beautiful sights for a little while. Its more of a beautiful decorative lathe outdoor flower garden but none the less, pretty and peaceful.

Relaxing and outdoors, admission for a concert was $5 which is good, but a 12 ounce can of beer was also $5 ! Yikes. Parking is limited right near the entrance, so arrive early or park across the street. Bring a chair or blanket.

This was a cute place to take pictures and experience but the lady who worked their was so rude and shoved a paper in our face and telling us we weren’t allowed to take pictures because it was a private property. We weren’t taking any type of professional pictures or anything but she still said we weren’t allowed to. If you suggest on taking any pictures don’t even go because you’ll just be rudely kicked out.

While my wife and I, and everyone that attended the wedding, felt that the conservatory was absolutely beautiful, there were a lot of behind the scenes things that occurred that didnt sit well with us.We had about 5 different people managing our account and none of them seemed to know what was going on. We were asked questions about major details in the last week and couple of days prior to the wedding. Leaving us very concerned and anxious. My wife asked if we could hang lighting in the tent and the picnic area and initially we were told yes. A week prior to the wedding we were told no...but apparently didnt want to argue it.Regardless of the negatives, we found many positives and so did our families and friends. We would recommend this place but make sure you keep in constant contact with their management. Because they may not keep in contact with you until the last minute.Great price, lots of space and beautiful photo ops.

This maybe the smallest conservatory/botanical garden that I have ever been to. When combined with heritage park just down the street, which is in a beautiful setting, I managed to give 3 stars. I was too early to see into any of the heritage buildings though.

Attended a family wedding here. Beautiful setting for a wedding or like event. There was a possibility of rain so staff was prepared to move seating to a large covered area just in case. The setting provided for a ton of beautiful picture opps

Not a real conservatory, but more of an outdoor garden maintained by the local garden club.
