Wonderful park for children of all ages. Lots of accessible playground areas, and several old growth oaks provide good shade. Picnic tables under a nice pavilion provide a space for a party, and there is plenty of other benches and tables scattered throughout the park for additional seating.

There’s so much to see I couldn’t explore the whole park this morning. It wasn’t as dog friendly as I would like because I parked near the picnic areas and there were the tiniest scraps of food, wrappers, peanuts and chicken bones and I had to pry them out of the dog’s mouth every couple yards. The dogs had a blast! LOL I won’t do that again. Other than that it was well maintained and staff was on site today. People were friendly too.

With COVID19 going on we needed a place for a small gathering where we felt better with social distancing. The kids were able to go play basketball and skateboard. There was a play area for smaller children close by also. The parking was close and plenty. The police were in sight providing visual support. We had a great time for a great price. This was a 2020 great party, so to other grads who have suffered from this pandemic emotionally or physically lost someone, my heart goes out to you. We are in this together. Congratulations on your accomplishments during such a time of unrest and unknown. Be at peace and of good courage. Times like these build ones character, so make sure that you make good choices!

My.toddler loves coming here! Not your average playground...lots of sensory play, music activities, bridges, rocks, sand, pirate ship, and well maintained areas to climb, run, and jump. Natural landscaping to explore as well as slides and swings etc. There is an area for the little kids as well as an area with obstacle course type activities and slides for bigger kids. Plenty of benches and picnic areas for adults to find shade as well.

Under construction right now...But looks like they are really upgrading it...Nice

This park is one my kids favorites. Its improved so much over the years and its well kept. We really love it!

We rented a shelter for the day. The shelter had came with power which was available on the day of use. We were next to the playground and restrooms which was a plus. The shelter floor was a little dirty but we made the day work.

Big playground, wide and long winding path for walking/jogging or what have you, lots of shelters for picnics or parties, and lighted tennis courts. Also a couple open grass areas for either football sport you prefer. Dont know why I didnt give it 5 stars.

I love the environment. I play Chess quite often at this park. Its located in the historic West Tampa area.

Now this park I have very fun and great memories since I was a kid Im still going there and Im 57 years old. I love the remodeling they did. I can use a little bit of paint. But the water fountains for the kids are amazing in the summertime how they sprinkle water the kids to play. I also like all the swings and all the other activities. I just recently made a baby shower here and everything was great and amazing we had a great time

Nice size park with functional tennis courts and a large jungle gym.

Was looking for an an early morning tennis court and Julian B. Lane was already full at 8:30am.

The park has really come a long way. They have a new park area thats different then the other parks. I love it . I havent been that park in so many years. Its different but still has its originality.

I absolutely love this park...its the most beautiful nature intertwined designed park in the area. It was a blast to play on both my son and daughter loved being here!!! There are plenty of seating and very unique in all the playground equipment. I am definitely going back asap ...we didnt get to explore all of it. 5 stars is an underrate for this place...it so cool!!

Actually a very beautiful place. Walked around with our dogs and took a little stroll around. Very relaxing and inviting park.Fairly clean and has restrooms. Recommended.

2 playground, parking lot on 2 sides and in the middle, and on the road past the basketball courts. Several bathrooms. Several gazebos with a couple picnic tables under each. I really like this park! My kids (10&2) really enjoyed all the neat things to do on the bigger playground. Musical toys, a couple swings (2 available for kids with disabilities) 2 bench swings a whole family can fit on. Small area for little ones to play on decent tho, a huge play house my daughter played in for awhile. Also has sand play area and slides on the bigger kid area of the playground. Dont live in Tampa but I am in the area often...would drive 20 mins out my way to take my kids here. I love i can follow my daughter around on the equipment, which means those in wheelchairs can access most areas too. There is a walking trail that has several activities to do like chin ups and such along the way. Awesome park all around!

Beautiful and interesting park with equipment ive never seen elsewhere and good shade. Bathrooms are locked when I go and there are fire ants all in the grass so i cant give 5 stars but is still a great park

MacFarlane Park is a nice place. It has a great playground, tennis courts, pavilions with grills, City of Tampa recreation center, jogging track, mash ball court, and large areas for playing soccer or other field sports. Thank you for reading my review and have a great evening.

It look more like a homeless shelter than a park, although it is quiet there are few things you can do; however, for me it is not the ideal place to take kids or even on an afternoon walk date

Kiddos love this park! We do too we can play,,, grill and enjoy the play area! I would rate it a 5 and some!

Not impressed, people in charge were looking for compensation to use a gazebo. We sat out in the open with a large group for a birthday party, and were told all gazebos had been saved. There were clearly three open ones all around us. No one every came to use any of them.

Well kept by park staff and homeless follows general inconspicuous requirements.

I love this beautiful little park. So relaxing and family oriented. Cant wait to have family time this summer. :-)

Used to go here as a kid. The park hasnt changed much and is very well kept.

Kids loved it!

Went here to play tennis and get some fresh air around 8pm. There was a man watching me and my partner play who was fully pleasuring himself and was exposed. When he saw that we noticed, he left. The park closes at sunset, but there was no patrol enforcing that or keeping it safe. It is also not well lit after dark and we felt extremely unsafe. This park should have better security. We are disgusted and scarred and will never be returning.

My kids absolutely love this park. The layers of the playground make them feel like they are in a whole new world, they also have a great music section were kids can play a variety of different percussion instruments.

We had a few practices for the upcoming quinceanera and was nice there

The park is pretty and convenient but I dont feel very safe as a woman alone, as there are always groups of homeless men practically living there I especially dont feel safe later in the day, its unfortunate really..

My daughter loves this playground. Its huge and Ive never seen another like it anywhere.
