I love the thrill of death I get on this ride. It is a unique drop. No other amusement park that Ive gone to can top it off. Its unique and a great adrenaline rush.
This is a taller drop than even the superman drop which most people know. Its an amazing like 1 or 2 second free fall before they flip the seats up and you feel saved. The suspense of hanging there against the restraint is the most suspenseful part!
Falcons Fury is unique among drop towers because of the way it drops. Your seat tilts forward 90 degrees, so your feet dangle and youre facing the ground. Youll swoop upright again as you hit the brakes, making even the slowdown of the drop exciting. This is a drop tower lovers dream ride, and if you enjoy them in any capacity you cannot miss Falcons Fury.
This ride is… oh my! Intense!!! I love thrill rides and usually get on roller coasters so this was different. I was excited to get on Falcon’s Fury...until we got on it and got to about 200 feet in the air. I think I set a record for saying the fastest back to back prayers as we went to the top. It was cute at first to get a bird’s eye view of the city, but then it got real! I knew it was too late to ask to get off the ride, and I was fine until we stopped at the top…and then started tilting on our faces at 335 feet in the air. I was screaming my head off as my life flashed before my eyes.At the top, we sat there, staring at the long distance back to the ground. And after what seemed to be 10 minutes (it was really about 30 seconds) we dropped fast…and I screamed my head off all the way down…and then it was over and I just sat there frozen on the ride thinking… “That was the scariest thing I’ve ever done !” And it was fun (once it was over) and I felt like I could conquer anything after that! I felt like a Boss until I was told through laughs...“We could hear you screaming from all the way up there!” I have no regrets! This is by far one of the best rides at Busch Gardens!
Awesome experience ! Youre the only thing up that high, so the view is awesome!
This is arguably the best ride in Florida if you are a thrill seeker.. With this being the worlds tallest free standing drop tower and the only one with seats that tilt you forward 90 degrees... This ride is amazing!
Awesome, feels like skydiving. Pretty much the best ride in the park. You are strapped in good so you wont fall out and die, like people think. I really recommend you try this out!
Falcons Fury is definitely a fun ride, with an amazing view and dizzying drop. My main barb with it is that outside of a 10 minute wait, its really not worth the wait time. The ride itself lasts about 90 seconds, so if you want to ride it, try to plan your trip for a less crowded day so your wait time ratio isnt 20 to 1.
A fun but very scary ride - feels like you are about to fall out of your seat- but that is just part of a thrill. Im sure it is very safe!
Wow this ride is quick and intense! My girlfriend did not want to ride it at first but I finally talked her into it. I also did not tell her that once you reach the top the chairs extend out the point you face down as you drop. Its a very quick ride but the adrenaline rush is amazing. Only disappointing thing is sometimes the ride is not in operation. But I give it 4 stars just on the adrenaline rush. If youre ever at Busch Gardens Tampa this is a must ride attraction!
Today was my first on several thrill rides. I have never had the urge to ride Falcons Fury, but peer pressure got the best of me today, so on we went. We came right as the park was opening, so there was ZERO wait times, which I instantly regretted on this ride because I use the wait times to hype myself up. No no! Not this time! Once youre strapped in youre lifted up, and that seems like it takes forever. Then the seat tilts you till youre facing the ground and as you guessed. Drops you. Im not a fan of drops. Today was my day for drops apparently. It wasnt terrible but it also was three seconds that I never want to experience again. This was one ride that I was excited to get off of!
For a thrill ride I would have to give maximum stars. There is nothing nice really to say about it. It was High which was quite obvious from the ground, but when your at the top and thrown forward and left dangling with your body falling forwards against the straps, well that is another feeling...and then free fall.........I love the thrill rides but would i choose to this one again? No but if i was to return and my son wanted too then i would force myself too.
My favorite drop ride!
Scary as hell in line but once youre on it its actually pretty nice. Cool view before and during the drop. And speaking of the drop its pretty fun, enough that I went on twice in a row and cant wait to go back to get on again. If the Doctor Doom tower was anywhere near enjoyable for you this ride will be too.
If you want your lunch to explode while they are suspending you by your skivvies. Its all for you!!! I saw my sweet Baby Jesus come check on me, but then I know that I almost lost my teeth from the direct drop. Just thank the heavens the young men and women made sure I was strapped in good sand and could live another day Dont eat junk before riding rides
Was good, until it tilts foward, but just a few seconds,, You are STRAPPED IN GOOD.Probably would give it a go AGAIN LOL
So fun! I dont know why this ride specifically is on google maps but my dad and I went on it as my daughter and niece watched from below. It is a slow, smooth ride up with a nice view, and then the most terrifying part was tilting forward. It feels like youre never going to stop and you have plenty of time to think about how you are 300+ feet above the ground and only a tiny buckle is keeping you alive. Gulp. Then it is a VERY smooth drop. The day we went there was no wait.
Love the flying down and at the top where your tilting 90°
This ride is amazing 10/10. It doesnt look to high at first but Im good with heights but it makes it terrifying. It is like Dr. Doom ride at universal but it curls up so you are facing the ground and then just drops you and then rolls you out like a falcons claw coming out to catch prey. And it is a fast ride that carries a great amount of passengers so the line was under 15 minutes the entire time I was there.
330ft drop tower with a twist, as you ascend the tower the cradle you are sitting goes from a normal upright seating position to a horizontal position so you are facing the ground. You are now suspended face down at a height of 330ft. Suddenly you then fall 330ft from the top of the tower and it is over quicker than it started. Truly not for the faint hearted but a must, loved every second of this ride.
I went with my wife, she was basically saying no way I would do this ever, I was scared out of my mind but had to show her I could do anything lol.. Man this is a huge drop you go face first at the ground and you they launch you down.... This is not for the feignt of heart and if you want a thrill this. Its so scary the lines wont be long. And you wont die. Have fun!
Very cool and super intense ride
The tallest free-standing drop in North America. This ride is very smooth. There is an incredible view as you make your way to the top, and the drop is the largest in the park. I rate it 5 stars because it is so much different from all of the other rides, wait time is very short, ride is not bumpy, and there is no tug from your descent when you reach the bottom.
We spent a weekday at this park and I have to stay, I enjoyed every second of it. Not many waiting times, lots of roller coasters and a good price. I highly recommend the Iceploration Show if you do wanna do a show. This was just great. We come to this park once a year and can tell that theyre always keeping up with new rides and cleanliness.
Never in my life have I been afraid of any roller coaster. This thing is just crazy af. You dont feel safe at any point during the ride. Right after the ride I just couldnt understand if what I was feeling was thrill, or fear, or just worried about the people riding after me.
I went there for a field trip yesterday as our last day of school. my friend and I got on it at least 8 times that day. Ive been there before with my family and the wait time isnt that bad, its 5 minutes max if everything is working properly.
Best drop ride ever been on, if your a fan of drop rides this will most likely be the highest and best drop ride youve been on as it is the highest free standing drop ride in the world.
The best non roller coaster thrill ride Ive every been on
Scareyyyyy! But so much fun.
Busch Gardens is awesome!!! We got fun passes from my job and I had a blast, and spent a pretty penny in the gift shops. We went later in the day and it was still so hot. You cant spend more than 2-3 hours there. My husband and my daughter got on falcons fury and they said it is no joke. The ride takes you all the way up then tilts you so you are facing the ground then it drops you. They went on a few other coasters as well. I rode the carousel. It was awesome.I will be returning soon.
Scary as heck but super fun ride
Oh my goodness! What a rush! I rode Falcons Fury for the first time and I loved it. I participated as a chaperone for my daughters 5th grade end of the school year field trip. She insisted we write it and we ended up writing it several times throughout the day. What a rush, what excitement, what an experience! I think I have found my new favorite
This ride is so good, unique and exciting. We did it 6 times.
Its so fun and shockingly scary
Super scary when it faces you down! The suspense is worse than the drop itself.
Great Fun if you dont mind looking down at ant sized people!
I went on it and thougt i wolud just jump but then you hang down and go down super scary but its amazing
This ride was really fun. I loved it so much. The feeling while going up, and then when you are about to drop omg. It was just spectacular
An amazing ride to do as youre walking around the main circle of the park. Its a bit nerve wracking at first when you watch other people ride it and you start playing through your head all the ways youre going to die if the ride breaks while youre on it. After you get through that phase though its easily one of the best experiences at Bush Gardens. You feel like youre skydiving for a brief few seconds, but its worth every one of them. Cant recommend this ride enough!
This thing is less of a ride, more like an experience of extreme terror, so much so that you get tunnel vision. Put riding this thing on your bucket list. 9/10
When you are hanging mid air looking straight down you get the best rush ever. Love this ride
Busch Gardens is still a lot of fun. The new coaster is great.
Was closed! But has been open all these other days we are here cause we can see it. Sucks, alot of rides were closed!
Glad they were able to custom build the part needed to get it back in operation. Love it
Drop towers are good times. But this gem tilts the seats 90 degrees at the top so you are staring 300 ft down to the ground. After hanging up there for a bit, you plummit face first to the ground. Its an amazing rush that is made better by letting your arms and legs and dangle and not holding on to anything. If you are riding with friends who havent ridden before dont tell them about the seat tilt part, their reaction will be priceless. You may loose a friend or two so use that last piece of advice at your own risk.
One of the best Drop Towers EVER!!!
This ride was TERRIFYING, but AMAZING! The harness goes snug, so I felt safe, will do it again and again and again.
Awesome ride! Its way higher than it looks when youre sitting at the top. Im a grown man and not afraid of heights or roller coasters but this one is still pretty intimidating!!!
Was a lot of fun
Very scary. Three hundred feet high. Great view.
Very fun, and the lines are short, but its over in 2 seconds and the drop isnt really any more intense than SheiKra
They closed it without notice, after you had spent a lot of time in line, and did not give you a Quick Queue as compensation.
Not sure that the 90-degree face down twist at the top made it scarier, or the fact that more things were going on kept my mind off the drop. It definitely was still scary and had the anticipation factor, and I’ve never been on anything like it. Overall I prefer the classic drop towers instead, without the tilt seats at the top.
3 Negitives and 3 Positives-+ High, great view.+ Thrilling+ Gives you that “I’m about to die” feeling.- Not worth the wait, line is always long.- Short ride, because it’s fast.- Can hurt your back.
I rode this yesterday, have to admit, it is scary as he$$ when they turn you face down at the top! However i told my kids i would wave at them from the top and looking straight down at them i did and they were waving back, At the top when i realized that harness was gonna hold me in, i let go and flew it was Awesome!!! I will be riding it again many times! Best intense ride ever!Thumbs up ;)
One of my favorite shock value rides.
Husband and daughter got stuck for about... 10 min but once they were brought down safely, they were given some front of lines passes.
It’s not as scary as you think. I rode it and I’m only 10 years old. When you reach the top, you think you’re gonna die, but when you go down, you want to ride it again. Also, you get lifted off your seat when you fall.
Rated it 5 because the experience was good. When I get on a new ride I am always scared. It is a scary ride. Not made for everyone! The waiting line takes longer than the ride its self. Its a good ride to give u that quick fear.Do not ride it if you dont like heights.
Its short and scary at first but when you get off you might think it was a fun experience it feels like sheikra to be honest
Going into it I was really nervous but its actually not as bad as people make it seem in my opinion. Thrilling, scary, exiting ride with a great view from the top my second favorite ride in the park.
This is the best drop tower in the US. Theres nothing that can top this. Your 335FT in the air, tilting 90 degrees at the ground, and you just drop at 68MPH. This is an amazing drop tower, definitely tops all others!
This ride is so much fun!
A little wait when you go up and you get to the top it faces you so u see straight down and thats the scaryest part of the ride and then you just go pretty fast and then slows you down in like after second and then the ride is over
I miss my favorite ride...
Great ride for adults
You dont have to love rides to love this place, they have nature, animals, great shows, cool kids area that will wear them out! and thrilling rides too.
Truly terrifying. The only complaint is that they fill up half of the carriages with QuickQueue people and the other half with stand-by, which can jack-up the standby wait pretty easily.
This ride is awesome. Your heart really does drop on this ride.. I love it
There are no words to describe the awesomeness of this ride! To the ones who are afraid of heights beware my favorite ride at Busch Gardens
Pretty good - goes super quick
My favorite ride ever!! I always go 5 times in a row! Love the adrenaline! Totally recommend it, but if you are scared of heights you will not enjoy
Unbelievable been on the ride and kicked off twice cause of closure
A terrifying adrenaline rush which I will do everytime I go!! A must do in the park!
Crazy and scary but also super fun
Awesome ride experience
I have a love/hate relationship with Falcons Fury.. Love the ride but hate the dangling before the death drop!!
Best flat ride I have ever ridden! Truly amazing! For the ultimate experience make sure to let your arms hang the whole time- closest thrill ride feeling to a basejump that Ive had so far!
Very exciting and worth the 55min wait.
I was thinking this was going to be similar to dr.doom or tower of terror....oh boy was it times 10x...this is for the thrill seekers! When you get to the top, your seat tilts so that youre in the position to free fall staring straight down then drops. I almost passed out from fear but it was exhilarating
Very smooth and fun my top three ride there. But I would not Waite more than 15 minuets to get on a 5 second drop
We have so much fun
Funn just scary
The ride is usually AWESOME; however, it is closed until further notice for maintenance.
It was awesome. When u go up its scary, but when u go down it is REALLY FUN. The angle is so perfect, I that wear contact lenses didnt wear glasses and no air or debris got in my eye. It may be intense for younger ppl tho. Also one failure and you are done.
Great ride. Quick lines.
Good fun,but very slow queue
The thrill of this ride is all psychological. It kills you with anticipation, but the actual drop is over as quick as it begins.
My boys favorite ride
Awesome place, lot of fun
