Had a great time at this spot, music was great and karoake was a lot of fun. Drinks were a little weak, thank God I had a couple before I went out. The club was strick on social distancing but they picked and chose to whom.

I love this bar. But new DJ guy disappears a lot and there too much of a delay on karaoke. Love that they added a another bar. Still love this place.

Stopped by for the first time on a Thursday... bartenders were nice and never had to wait too long to be serviced, however, the DJ that night - Toby - really killed the vibe. My friends and I arrived around 10 on a Thursday so the crowd was not that big. Prob wasnt even 30 minutes once we were there that I submitted a song... when I was looking through the song book a guy who was standing beside me told me he was friends with the DJ and to so let him know once I picked a song and he would go up and talk to him...very nice of him but I just submitted myself and went about my evening. About an hour passes and my song hadn’t been played. (I had been drinking but was definitely not drunk and still fully cognizant.) So, I go to the DJ booth and ask what BPM he was at so I could get an idea of how long it would be until my song... Toby tells me he doesn’t go by BPM but that I was 9th in line. When I’m up there some guy at the booth (not the DJ) tells me something along the lines of “the DJ knows a lot of people, who do you know here?” I didn’t pay him any mind but this interaction is important to note. Time passes again and it’s now 12:30 and my song still hasn’t been played meanwhile I’ve seen two different people on stage twice. Again, I go and talk to the DJ, Toby, to ask about my song. I get a bit more aggressive and explain it’s my first time here and I’ve waited about 2 hrs to get my song played and that when we last spoke I was 9th in line. Toby then proceeds to tell me “No, I said you were 19th” which was def was a lie. At this point I’m getting more upset and a completely different guy is up at the DJ booth once again hanging out beside Toby asking me “who I know.” After that I just left - very disappointed and upset. This was a long review but from what I’ve learned about my experience is you have to “know someone” to get your song played. I definitely won’t be back and will be telling others about my experience. My advice for management: hire a new DJ with better organization skills. My advice for newcomers: don’t waste your time here, there are plenty of other bars along the strip you will have fun at...

Best karaoke spot in ybor

One of my favorite bars for years. They have a unique atmosphere with the aviation themed decor and a fantastic selection of beers. They also have karaoke multiple nights a week which is always fun. One of my go-to bars whenever Im on Tampa.

Fun spot but really expensive drinks. Had a great time overall. Made an add of myself which always means I had fun. Just lower the drink prices and hire a karaoke dj who isnt a douche and the place gets 6 stars out of five!

Decent place if youre in the mood for karaoke. Bathrooms are usually really gross and one of the stall doors was busted in. Keep it classy, Ybor.

Love the mixed crowd and karaoke. It’s a bit small and the seating is limited but you’ll be dancing to the music anyway. The drinks are overpriced but it’s Ybor so it is to be expected. The DJ is very good and always performs which is a treat. Overall, it’s a good spot for the weekends. No cover.

Ive been in there a few times and Im always disappointed. Warm overpriced drinks. Generally dirty establishment. Needs to be professionally cleaned regularly. Staff isnt that friendly. Management sucks. I wont go back.

My wife and I were there during one of the Karaoke nights, Its was pretty fun! The food is not bad, and the prices are actually pretty good.

I’m visiting from out of town and the bouncer told me my ID was fake, then took it, then asked for $20 for it back. this place is extremely sketchy and dirty.

Theres an interesting mix of people, and it seems only a small portion of the patrons hang out there all evening. My thing is karaoke, and this is among the best karaoke bars. Its asy to request a song, and include $20 with your submission to be on the fast track. I like the tall stage to sing on, even though its not very big. The wireless microphone is great so I may dance while Im singing. Drink prices are high: $7 well drink and $15 for a Long Island iced tea. I saw the bouncers actively observing people to detect problems, and I watched as bouncers escorted individuals out on two separate occasions. I had a great time.

Good spot in Ybor. They had karaoke and everyone seemed to be having a great time, the crowd was really diverse as well. The bar upstairs is the easiest spot to get a quick drink. Its about what you expect for Ybor City. I think this place captures Tampa pretty well.

This isnt the kind of bday that is normally go to, but I was with friends and stepped inside.I had a blast. An odd mix of people, but they mixed well. It was the night for Karaoke, with the typical mix of bad singers, poor singers and those that needed documented evidence that they sang drunk. I was the first two categories, two times each.

Was walking by at night, noticed the crowd having fun. Stopped in for a beer. It was served in a cheap plastic cup and it was warm. We left after we finished the beer.

Everytime I have been here they have adorable animal videos on a TV behind the bar. 5/5 just for that.

Its a bar. In Ybor city, there are definitely bars with a bit more going on, but works when barhopping is the goal.

Their website apparently hasnt been updated in years. Went here specifically for the open mic karaoke night on a Tuesday night. Once there, spoke with staff who said they havent done an open mic night in years. Why advertise it if it hasnt been done in years? As far as the bar itself goes...unimpressive

I go to karaoke frequently, The rotation here was horrible; 3 hours, 1 song. Other people got up there 2 or 3 times. Normally newer singers go up sooner then entered into rotation. Otherwise people will leave unimpressed. Crowd was hyped, really into it. The bartenders are pretty cool too.

Packed, poor service behind the bar. Generally dirty. Security is uncomfortably demanding I came in for 20 minutes had a diet Coke with lime no alcohol to start my night decided to step outside for a little while to get some air, security barked at me very aggressively and actually moved in my direction. Im from at Petersburg totally acceptable to leave the bar with your drink. Generally alcholic or not. Delivery is everything and he made me feel very threatened and unwelcome. I will never be back.

DJ takes $20 bribes to skip the karaoke line, and is really picky about what songs you sing. Why the **** have a karaoke bar if you dont let people sing what they want? They play normal songs in between karaoke songs and management of people on the list is done poorly, on top of literally half of the people there blatantly bribing the DJ and skipping you in line, be prepared to wait literally over two hours to sing one song on the weekend.Broke a $50 for a $10 drink and when I got home I noticed I only got $30 back. Got charged two different prices by different bartenders for the same drink. These same drinks also had completely different alcohol contents as if they just eyeball everything they mix.

The staff is okay but the person claiming to be in charge clearly doesnt know how to operate a business. Also, theyve been charging any customer who uses credit/debit cards a surcharge of .50 cents pretty much since theyve been open which is illegal in the state of Florida.Im pretty sure someone needs to call OSHA and a health inspector because there looks like several violations. During my visit I noticed most the beer coolers either have broken doors or broken glass and do not look theyve been cleaned in years. There are roaches everywhere and the bathrooms are literally falling apart.

Ive been coming here for a little over three years and it is my favorite spot in Tampa for karaoke. I usually try to make this my first stop when Im in Ybor. It tends to get pretty busy after 10 though, so if you arrive after then expect to have 10+ singers ahead of you.

Bartenders are very slow, $15 for a blur long island iced tea that taste nothing like a BLIIT and were horrible. The atmosphere was fun though. Maybe a different day will change my mind.

Fun kareoke night. The back /outside bar has a good Female DJ. A little bit of space tp dance if place isnt crowded.Most important is that the bathroom was clean, mainly due to bathroom attendant. Interesting crowd

We always have a fun time karaoking at Double Decker. The crowds are diverse and everyone has a great time. Everytime we go there we are surprised by really talented singers. If you are looking for a fun spot on 7th Avenue, and even if you dont sing, you should stop by.

Karaoke everyday essentially. Nice atmosphere (second floor is the best), not the youngest crowd(could be a pro or a con depending on your mood). It does get crowded at times (sometimes you gotta bribe the DJ to let skip the queue) and the drinks are on the expensive side. They do have flash drink specials and those never disappoint!

This place is the bomb! Great place to get away from it all. Get lost in karaoke and have some of the best drinks in Ybor with your friends or even yourself and have a blast!

Nice club but the music is not tuned and is loud enough that my ears started ringing after only 10 minutes.
