This club is probably the worst club I’ve ever been to other than the kennedy. I would never recommend going to HPC. It’s always overfilled past capacity and the drinks are water.

If you go you gotta make sure that you try the specials, regardless of what day it might I can assure you that unless you are allergic you are sure to have something you will love

Pretty cool place! This is a great experience to sit at the club and see the changing views. It’s obviously in a high business, and there are a lot of people wavering around waiting for you to move. The bartender made my first and not the last martini, which may be my new drink of choice! I thoroughly enjoyed myself here!

So disappointed in the experience I had in this place the initial call with Tory was awesome she made sure to answer every question I had even when I got there she answered the phone and explained me where to go but then everything went downhill sorry not recommending this place at all

Drinks and happy hour is cheaper but the place allows smoking and is more party like than chill.

Went and paid cash to get in, a worker from there forgot to stamp my wrist band. I went to my car to get some water and they didnt want to let me back in even though I paid cash and was already in there dancing for 2 hours! Ruined my experience of going out which is something I seldom do :( recommend Mcdintons better down the street

This club plays the absolute worst music on Saturdays. If I ever have to go here again then I will definitely bring headphones so I don’t have to listen to awful Katy Perry edm remix’s. Fridays play good music tho since it’s Latin

Friday nights are very fun here as it is Spanish night and you can get in free before 12 if you put your name on the guest list online. Great selections of beers, including Stella last time I went. They need to get rid of the Techno room and make it a modern hip hop room so that way it would be Spanish on one side and hip hop on the other!

Absolutely love this place. $5 unlimited drinks Tuesdays ! DJ was good, until slow songs killed the mood for others Lol . Loved the atmosphere and bartenders were on point!

There should be a capacity, could barely move. If you’re going to actually dance to bachata, merengue or salsa for Latin night forget it.

The club is not bad if you are 18-21 years old. If you go be prepared to hang out with high school & college kids.

It honestly was the worst night of my life. I went with a group of friends and they kicked some of us out for being to drunk but we were not even 2 minutes of being there and haven’t had a sip of alcohol. There prices were way over priced! I will never go here again.

As soon as I walked in went straight for the bathroom. Stood in line for 15min as there is only one urinal. When I got in the bathroom attendant told me if I kept talking trash he was going to have me thrown out. The weird part was he was looking at the wall when he was yelling. I asked him if he was talking to me. He repeated himself, I told him I did not know what he was talking about as I had not said anything to him. He grabbed his radio and called for security as if I was threatening him. Two bouncers came and grabbed me mid stream and walked me out. Left out of there dumbfounded. Took my 3 friends I came with, called the 2 girls outside that I went there to meet and I spent my money in Soho and had a good time there instead. This place needs to check their bathroom attendant. A couple more toilets would be nice as well.

Great service even with lack of bartenders. I love that it has 3 different rooms. It gives you options of 2 different types of music. And a middle area to talk and meet people without loud music.

Went on a Tuesday at 11 and started off the night by paying a $10 cover charge. **Was aware of the guest list but the link wasnt working properly.Cons:Got on here to read reviews and noticed a review about using credit cards. I checked my bank account and the charge that was on there was double what it should have been.Hostile door guys: When I got there, there was a cocky door guy holding up the line to let people in. When I went to walk in there was a door guy blocking the door way. Even got bumped into for no apparent reason. Im 62 215...these guys are either underpaid or more concerned about who their competition is.Drink Prices: After I paid $10 cover, I bought a Redbull Vodka which was $10..and tipped $2. The charge on my bank account ended up being $25.Underage: Im not aware if underage (under 21) are allowed but the door guys had no issue handing out drinking wristbands to underage. It was pretty obvious after talking to a few women (18 and 20) that this was a normal thing. Witnessed the 20yr old throwing up before I left.Pros:The atmosphere and setup of the bar wasnt bad. Ive always enjoyed the different venues within the bar.Probably one of the busier bars on a Tuesday......I dont think Ill be coming back anytime soon.

I love the Hyde Park Cafe. It has 3 different rooms playing different music so no matter what mood I am in I can find my jams just by roaming around. The crowed is mixed and pretty laid back from the two times Ive been to this place. I would recommend a big group to go hang out like I did with my Co-workers.

Cant beat $10 happy hour. I suggest getting there early as the line gets very long. My favorite night is Friday, Latin night. Music is very good!! I wish there was more space (maybe make both sections Latin) but the overall experience is fun.

I spent last Saturday night here with a few friends. We had a great time! I wanted to see all the rooms, but was having so much fun in the Wally & Bernies room. It was kind of perfect, great music, great bartender, great friends. Now, I just have to go back to see how the other rooms stack up! Thanks so much for a great time, Hyde Park Cafe!

We love coming here the food is good the atmosphere is cool people are nice the crowds look more upscale but we had family fun here also. We definitely recommend everyone to come and enjoy the music and the fun

I felt way too old for the college aged crowd. Otherwise a good time.

Smoke machines and strobe lights were done in both rooms was overkill. Too smoky and the strobes were flashing constantly at times, hard to see or focus & I didnt even drink anything. Bartenders were adept (I got water) and polite. Music good!!! 2 diff rooms but 2nd room by bathrooms were not labeled. I didnt know there were there till half way through my night, maybe they should put some signs on the doors.

First, they allow too many people for the space and there was an insane amount of weed bring smoked.The real issue I had was “Latin Night”, it is non-existant. Latin night should be all night. It was suppose to start at 11pm according to the manager. Then they played 3-4 reaggeton and thats it. What kindnof latin night is that? Where is the Merengue, Salsa, Bachata. False advertisment...if you are looking for a latin night don’t go here.

Great place to hang out HAPPY HOUR $10 for allllll you can drink, the music is great . EDM on one side and Latin on Friday nights and hip hop/ Rap on the other side ... The staff is amazing, friendly and their drinks are so good ..

Good music good drinks but the hookah was straight garbage paid 40 dollars for it then asked for a refill the employee said no you can only have it for an hour and took it away yet other people I seen had theirs longer . They pick and choose who to be nice to. Two stars for the hospitality .

Definitely one of the best places to dance at. There are three rooms with three different types of music playing usually. Some of the bartenders are attentive but a few of them are in their own world taking selfies most of the time. Definitely a good spot to meet people.

Saturday offered an all you can drink option from 9-11 for $10. The outside patio area is very cozy until it gets busy; however there are many steps and it can be a little precarious for those in heels. The inside bar has a dance floor and seating against one wall.

I love the happy hour and sometimes they have really good house music goin on. The atmosphere is neat. Feels like youre in some jungle.

Bit of a young crowd but cool venue

A big part of my weekend life while being a student at UT, this place has more of an emotional connection lol. Bumping into friends, drinking cheap beer, dancing the night away and listening to Spanglish music...this has been my weekend life for the past year and a half and it never gets old.

I went on a thursday, heard a lot About it. Showed up early, About 10 pm. It was Not too busy but at around 12:30 this place was bouncing. I Really enjoyed it and the people were great. I recommend it all the way :)

We went to this place for Gasparilla and the DJ was awful!!!! They don’t care about the people!! Everyone was telling him to change the music and he acted like he didn’t care!! So expensive and really bad music. Won’t go back again!!!

I hate this club, went on a Friday night (Latin night )the music is good, I like the style and vibes of the club, but they LET TOO MANY PEOPLE IN, every song I tried to dance too I got hit in the face and was ready just to get kicked out and fight these drunks that don’t know how to not jump around and realize it’s too small to be doin the most it’s good and all but they should only allow a certain amount of people in. I feel like it’s worst than prana on a Saturday night honestly!!! At prana it doesn’t get pack enough that your hitting people in the face like that. Other than that, club was nice

Manager at club is rude to patrons. Floor is ceramic tile so girls, be prepared to slip all night long in your heels b/c they dont bother to pick up spilled drinks. Not the place for upscale women.

Great place to go for good music and not so bad crowd, some are young and others mid 30 but the service is excellente bar tenders know there drinks and really friendly staff from the manager to the hosts... would highly recommend.

Went there for happy hour, was barely able to get anything to drink. The bar looked understaffed as everyone huddled around. Plus the cover is 10 in cash but 12 on card. Make sure you bring cash!!

I retract my last review my advice is go on friday night latin things get popping really quick so get there at happy hour. Cool place to hang out but if you like dancing that dance floor gets crowded very fast so fell the crowd out. Before hitting the dancefloor.

Frankly, Im 44 years young and I have no clue what these folks in theri 30s and 40s are yapping about?! Dude, its a party club where you go and do THAT! My wife and I skateboard down there from our house on Albany...the bouncers even agree to hold onto our Loaded and Carver skateboards in a secure location while we go in and party...Wife is 37 and Im 44...we simply havent had one issue there in over a year of living in SOHO / Hyde Park! So far = HPC is a class act imho. Skate Rat at 40+...get it!

Beware ------ check your bank account - I went there on a Friday Night with some girlfiends, had a good time - bought a drink with my credit card which was $11.00 gave cash tip that night instead of my card when I reviewed my bank account I notice they decided to add their own tip of $3.00 and the same thing happened to my friend that night as well she also gave a cash tip and not on her card wow her add on tip was $9.50 - our banks have been notified of the credit card fraud ---------- but beware this may happen to you

Horrible place! Came their with a perfectly fine front end on my civic and when I come to leave the whole front lip and bumpers hanging off, chipped multiply and damaged all over!!! Will never go back or recommend to anybody! Also manager was really rude and said I came with my vehicle like that saying its my fualt when they obviously have 3 foot long potholes in the back where they take your vehicles to park, if your car is even the slightest bit lowered youve ben warned dont make the same mistake I made letting someone else park your vehicle with a haggard road like they have!!!

Small little club in the middle of soho. I have always had fun here with 2 different types of music played all the time.

This place charged me $9 (plus I tipped $2) for 2 bottles of luke warm tap water!!! I still have the bottle to prove!They are a clear cylinder shaped 16.9 fl.oz bottle with big letters VOSS on the side, the clear barcode sticker on the side was already torn before I opened it! I am not a dummy, I can taste the difference between bottled water and tap water and I can also tell when something has been opened before.This place seemed like they spent so much effort and money to brand their club HPC that it is funny to me that they would actually serve you a bottle of tap water at their establishment! We will never go back! Lord knows if their that cheap then I can only imagine how much liquor they give you!

Great place to visit, would rather see brian busto mix 3 weekends a month and only bring in a headliner 1 weekend, but as money rules so does it with hpc, where he must get a dj allowance and hire people below budget for his own return, actually hurting the biz. i have been playing 25 years and have seen this time and time again. he is a great dj, it should be HIS house on fridays, pay him so he doesn;t have to make money off the laymen.....s.p..
