This park is nice and big and they have put in some shade cover. We love the rubber ground and that it can accommodate multiple age children. There is a small pavilion close if you want to bring a lunch. Bring water/sunscreen/swimsuits in the summer because the kids are bound to get wet in the splash pad right next door.

This is a tremendous park. It is fairly large with a fair amount of shade and tree cover. There are 3 pavilions with ample table space for larger groups if needed. One of the pavilions does have restrooms and power outlets. The pavilions are all located fairly close to the play area and splash pad. If needed there is a large open field over on the north side near the Maverick.The splash pad and play area are the real point that sets this park apart from so many others. The splash pad is fairly large and has a good variety of features. The playground is amazing. There are many built in shade canopies and a ton of equipment ranging from climbing equipment, good swings, many slides, bridges, and even a xylophone and drum area to play and get musically creative.Overall one of the better public parks we have ever visited. Syracuse did a great job setting up the park and I think made a wonderful investment into the community.

I have a teenage daughter who loves to skateboard. Her and her friends are always skating around this area. Its a way to get out and enjoy some fresh air with family, friends, kids, or even by yourself.

Fun splash pad! It wasnt too packed. They had covered pavilions with benches which was nice. We didnt checkout the park because we were too busy having fun in the water. We will definitely be going back!

Always small kid friendly each time we went. This last time we encountered day camp kids so it was well populated, but never did my child get crowded or pushed.Love the splash pad and park next to it. Overall area you can spend the whole day and not get bored

Just fantastically put together. Was 90° outside but playground equipment was cool. Kids love the river, splash pad. Way fun.

It’s a nice park. Could be helpful to have the the park equipped redone or refreshed. Some things are breaking or have some type of being warn down. But the grass is well managed. And the play ground is very well shaded. It’s not as big as some parks but still a good park.

Very different and unique park. I love the little details they put in and has things that other parks don’t have and is easy to get to. Even to walk around in the winter is nice here. In the summer they have a nice water feature to it.

The new splash park at Syracuse Centennial Park is open and it is really nice! Rivers, fountains & plenty of shady spots. Right next to the playground so lots for the kids to do. Well be spending lots of time here this summer.

It was fun!! No mess with sand or wood chips. Plenty of room for alot of kids to play. And perfwct for little ones...our 1.5 year old loved the park and it was easy for her to get around since it has ramps. Lots of fun equipment to play on

We really loved the park. There are so many options and there is a fence around the playground. It looks like they are building a big pavilion for even more tables and benches which is great.

Just checked out the new splash pad next to the park today with my 4 kids. They loved it! There were plenty of shady spots around the outside of the water. The bathrooms were so close - very convenient. The park doesnt open (well, the water isnt turned on) until 10. We got there a little before that and it wasnt crowded at all. Perfect time to go!

Had to take away stars.The park is good. The splash pad would make this at least a 4 star.But the splash pad is closed on Sundays?!?I saw SO many families come ready for water fun just to turn around and head into Layton or go home.Having a family activity closed on a family day doesnt make sense.

Great park. Lots of shaded areas, the playground has one entrance (that I saw) making it easy to guard kids. The splash pad was very small child friendly. Great for a warm summer day

This is a great park. It is sandwiched in-between a nice rec center, and really fun splash pad. Just to the south best place to buy meat. Dons meat. If you are looking for a place with something for everyone this is the park for you.

The splash pad is amazing! We enjoyed the different types of water falls and the four different streams that offered plenty of space to play. Chloes playground is excellent as well... But we were sad to see the music section missing crucial pieces and thus being rendered unusable. Still, the kids had a blast climbing all over while they dried off. The tree ladders were especially cute!

This is the coolest splash pad I’ve ever been to!!! My kids would spend the entire day here if the could.

Its a fun, accessable playground but I think it needs better bathroom facilities. I also preferred it when it was called Chloes sunshine park but it didnt affect my review. Just a more kid-friendly name.Edit: Now that the splash pad is open, The bathroom is great and I am changing this park to 5 stars!

Very impressive and fun

This is an amazing addition to Syracuse. With there being so many young children here, this combination of the childrens playground and the splash pad literally right next door is incredible. My kids love it!!Great job Syracuse!

Really nice place to go to take the kids. I like that the kids can go under little waterfalls, or go to different water spots and not just have to find where water is shooting out. Nice and big then you can play at the playground. Fun experience.

They just added a splash pad and it made a great park even better! This park is in a great location just off the main road so its not noisy but close enough to easily see and find, plus the police department is right there. Plenty of shade and well placed pavillions with very nice bathrooms. Everything is very new and is all fun to do. Older kids could cross the road to The Rush since this park might be a little younger oriented. The splash pad is a must need because The Rush got rid of their water area unfortunately.

It was a very nice park with recycled rubber turf. There are a variety of things to do, including a section to make music, a few different type of slides, a different types of things for climbing, and there are a couple of swings that have a plastic harness for toddlers. Fortunately, we went there during a time when it was busy.

This splash pad is such a great addition to Syracuse! Its a fun place to take kids, and theres a LOT of Harry Potter Wizards Unite stops here.

Great Park for Pokémon Go!! Only sad part is cops building is by the park and they always leave there cars running for hours at a time (while not in there vehicles) guess they don’t have to pay for gas so they don’t care..

This is fun to play around with the kids and to have a good time when the pad is open. Mostly for younger kids but still a place a to hang around for teens and adults.

Added a splash pad Summer 2019. Lots to do, small amount of shade, bring a towel and some chairs. Kids will not want to leave.

Just moved to Syracuse and this has quickly become our go to park. Its large and has some coverage from the sun. The entire ground cover is soft and springy, there are 6 swings, a large climbable rock, many slides including one made from rollers, and benches for the exhausted parents to rest on. One of the best things is the entire park is surrounded by a fence thats around 4.5 feet tall with one entrance/exit. Unless someone really makes an effort, your kid will not be able to leave... Unless your nose is glued to your phone and you cant spend a minute of quality time playing at the park with your child and put your device down. Then your children are apt to walk right by you... Outside the park and out of your parenting influence.

This park is amazing! Loved that there were so many educational and interactive playsets. There is only one opening to the gated area and the line of sight is fairly clear which makes keeping track of littles much easier. My only complaint would be the lack of shades benches. Would definitely recommend bringing camp chairs or a blanket to sit on. There are lots of benches and lots of shade, just not together.

My kids LOVE this park!! I love that its fenced in so they can run and play and I dont have to worry about them wandering off and getting lost.

Cool park, for you Pokemon fans out there this is a good area. Park wise this place is good for toddler to adult. I had fun.HUGE tank like mosquitos made us leave earlier than we wanted to.

Definitely a win for syracuse city! A very pretty splash pad with a river feel to it with fountains and water shoots that turn on and off to suprize you. The play ground is also top notch and my children could spend hours here. Only downside is there isnt alot of shady places to sit as an adult.

For a park this is amazing! My little and I attempt to go several times a week. It even has a little musical area. Lots of things to climb on, and a sidewalk track that loops around it for parents who want to exercise while kids play
